Dec 2017: Renters beware!!! Extremely overpriced and the faulty construction with the paper thin walls make this place unlivable. Noisy crazy neighbors and loud music at the pretty much public pool that accommodates residents and local communities makes this place uninhabitable. The best part about this complex is the red onion grill, which is at least walking distance to get a drink to hopefully help you wind down from all the chaos that surrounds you. I lived here with my family for a year and I have multiple complaints as to why this apartment is not only anything but luxery, these people are crooks as well.
After moving in here, the apartment wasn't in good shape, no new carpet, random orange stains, poor paint job, dings and scratches on the walls. It didn't matter to us because we needed a place to live essentially, but to me, after things breaking left and right, things not working like the dish washer I started to realize this apartment isn't worth over 1,300 a month. They upped our rent as well, after asking them why they said it was for the ammendities, you mean the ammendities we've always had? The gym with broken equipment and the pool/hot tub that's closed nearly all the time?

Oct 2017: A bunch of staff totally irresponsible. When I decided to switch a unit and renew by lease, they said there was no transfer fee, but when I moved in the new unit, they changed their mind charging my transfer fee. They even showed you a unit with a garage when persuading you to continue live there, but when you moved in, the garage was gone! Totally insane! Review from Google
Aug 2017: I never had a problem living here for 2 years until the office hired a new leasing agent (Laura) and she has by far been the absolute rudest. I never went in the office to complain about anything in 2 years. I go in pay my rent and leave but I went in my last few months of living here and I can not believe how unprofessional she talked to me. I'm a college student and I know that doesn't get me much respect already because I'm young but she basically talked to me as if I was wasting her time. If your a college student or parent of a student looking for somewhere stress free to live I would advise staying away from here. Review from Google
May 2017: Would you like to pay a security deposit for a place that you won't get? Or be quoted a specific rate and floor plan but have it not honored at a later time? If you are in the market for poorly trained employees who have zero professionalism, or just generally like to waste time then you've found the place!
We initially became interested in this place because we got a great quote for an apartment that fit our needs. We were told to come in within a day or two to secure the price and style - no problem, done! Filled out all paperwork we were given and we took a deep breath because we can rest easy now as the hard part is out of the way. Or so we were led to believe.
Fast forward a little over a month and we call to check-up on it and was given the bombshell that none of what was discussed is now true. Apartment is NOT available, price point Review from Google
Apr 2017: This is a pleasant place to live. The leasing office personnel are very professional, courteous, and helpful. The grounds are well-manicured and maintenance is top-notch. It's nice having the restaurant on the property. Additionally, the community would be even more enhanced if a couple of more retailers were located here.

Apr 2017: Uptown is a wonderful place to live! The office staff have been extremely helpful in introducing us to all the amenities as well as making the rental paperwork a breeze. They have been very attentive to any needs we may have had. I highly recommend Uptown Village!!!

Apr 2017: As someone who stayed there a long time, I feel I should let others know what this place is like before considering renting here. First of all, they advertise the place as luxury apartments. You are paying high end prices, but you are not getting a luxury place to stay.
First off, the amenities they offer aren't worth while. They have a gym that closes early. The gym itself is nothing special. A very small room with some machines and equipment.

Apr 2017: I love Uptown Village at Townsend l. It's quiet on the weekdays and mostly quiet on nights and weekends. Upscale apartments at a reasonable cost. The office staff is always courteous and efficient. I submitted a maintenance request and it was fixed in 24 hours. Its a great place for grad students, young professionals and small families. They have a nice gym, could use more equipment, but they definitely have the musts. Overall, I'd say this place is the go-to if you're not really into college living and want a west coast suburbia feel. Only con-- no yard space. 4/5 only because of the latter comment.

The front office staff are amazing they are always serving you and able to help you whenever you need it. The maintenance is efficient and they will solve the issue the same day. Great community !!

Jan 2017: It's a nice place to live. Front office staff and maintenance are very nice. Apartments are super nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there is a lot of poop that people don't pick up from their dogs! We have all stepped in poop at least once. Even on the sidewalk. Please clean up after your dogs! It's not that hard.
