Nov 2018: The Bartram is the only place to live in Gainesville if you’re looking for a home with perfect location, friendly office staff, and security this place is perfect! I’m a dental student and the bartram is the perfect for quiet housing. Pets are allowed without having to pay monthly pet fee and You have a garage parking included! Review from Google
Sep 2018: I lived at The Bartram for 3 years and I liked it at the beginning. However, management has gotten considerably worse and after moving out I have very few good things to say about it. Not only is it extremely expensive and rates keep increasing a lot every year but after moving out they kept the entire security deposit and are charging us more money for the replacement of the entire carpet of the aparment. The worst part it, I know they charged the same to three other units of people who moved out at the same time as me. They seemed to be desperate for money and the carpets in all those apartments did not need to be replaced. Management has been extremely rude and unhelpful through all of it. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Review from Google
Jul 2018: Lived there for 5 years, was a great experience overall. Pricey for Gainesville but definitely worth it. Location is perfect if you work at the hospital and is close to campus/downtown/midtown. Front desk was always polite and very helpful. Main pool is a fun hangout spot on the weekends. Got basically my whole deposit back after 5 years and not leaving the place exactly perfect. Review from Google
Jun 2018: I have lived here for a few months now as a subletter and recently resigned a lease renewal in my own name. I have been around Gainesville for nearly 7 years now and always wondered if this complex lived up to the hype (and the price tag). Having lived here for some time now I can say it absolutely does! The office staff whether it be maintenance, front desk, or back office finance people have been nothing but INCREDIBLY helpful and timely in their efforts to address any situation that arises. The quality of my unit is excellent and I never have a problem finding parking near my unit. I use the elevator daily to take my bike down to the ground floor (as I opt to have it within sight from my unit’s windows instead of in the locked bike room on the ground floor) and I can only recall one time in the last 5 months that the elevator was out of Review from Google
Apr 2018: Worst customer service ever. So happy my lease ends July 31st and I never have to deal with them again! Review from Google
Apr 2018: Management completely unresponsive. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and it was fine the first 2 years. Then during my third year, I started having a lot of problems. They deactivated my key fobs twice, which caused a lot of after-hours hassle. Most recently, they have taken my name off the call box so I have to go down the garage myself to receive my guests. I have called a total of three times to beg them to fix this, and they have neglected me completely. I now have to call a FOURTH time, but of course, they aren't open until 9 AM. They also promised me a transfer for a 2/2 but I have yet to hear back, even after consistently following up since December, and it is now mid April. Stay far away. It is too expensive for what it actually is worth. The front office is going through drastic changes and is no longer what it used to be. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Lipstick on a Pig. I have lived here for 3 years and will not recommend it. The staff is nice to get you to sign but is incompetent there after. The Btram is close to UF Med but is very expensive and they keep raising their prices every year. The grounds are cleaned about once a year (Leasing time) and request for stairwell and garage cleaning are overlooked. Seems like they promise changes every year but instead charge more. Repairs take forever. The gym is nice but there are a lot of "Visitors" that come and use it during peak hours so it is packed for folks actually paying for it. I requested new weights and a squat rack...denied without even one change except they painting motivational quotes on the wall (they missed the boat on that one). No critical thinking from staff or quality improvements made. Save your money, go to another place. Review from Google
Dec 2017: The Bartram at first glance is beautiful. But once you live there, you quickly realize it's not worth the money. I lived there for 2 years and I can honestly say I'm much happier in my new apartment in Gainesville. The biggest issue in my eyes is the parking garage. The parking garage is always full and I could never get a spot on the floor I lived on. So imagine after a trip to the grocery store...you have to make multiple trips down multiple flights of stairs just to get your things inside. On top of that, the parking garage gate often breaks and the elevators inside never work. Inside of the apartments are not much better. The Bartram has a huge fruit fly problem. It got so bad that we started taking our trash out every day and we still had fruit flies (we tried everything to get rid of them). Also, there are no lights in the rooms unl Review from Google

Dec 2017: Small parking garage and an obscene amount of speed bumps, accompanied by a gate and arm combo. Review from Google
Nov 2017: If you make the mistake of living here for a few years as I did, some wonderful things you might experience - as I did - may include, your cars being towed for $700 while you are away on vacation because you didn't notice a notification that parking sticker enforcement was beginning, a notification which was buried somewhere in one of the many usually useless emails they spam you with...or perhaps, a vacation being ruined and hundreds of dollars in lost money because the after hours person hangs up on you instead of helping you with a travel emergency and a document that was accidentally left in your apartment...or perhaps, someone bursting into your bedroom while you are sound asleep and announcing FIRE INSPECTION!!! Finally, throw into the mix an administration and maintenance that doesn't care about anything I just mentioned, and is cloyin Review from Google
Nov 2017: It is a very nice place to live, but of course you pay for it with the high price. Staff is attentive and the garage is great for your car. Downside is they will try their best to keep your deposit for any reason. We left out place very clean with only the carpet of course having signs of use after 2 years of living there, and they did not give back any of the deposit. Review from Google
Feb 2017: I've lived at the Bartram since 2013 and used to love it. Unfortunately, ever since management changed it has gone down hill. The parking garage gates are ALWAYS broken and the elevators never work. What is the point in paying the absurd rent rate if none of the "amenities" function properly? The girls in the office are always helpful and maintenance is nice, especially Dale. The property manager on the other hand is extremely rude and unhelpful. I've had one interaction with her and all she cared about was ensuring I wrote a good review of the complex. I've lived in three different units since living here and all of them have been dirty upon moving in. There was urine all over my toilet, hair embedded into the carpet, crumbs still on the counter and the carpet was soaking wet while trying to move our stuff in on our move-in day. Feb 2017: Feels like living in a hotel. Awesome front desk staff and amenities. However, the parking garage is a nightmare and I often find myself parking on the 6th floor, the ceiling is paper thin so I woke up every morning at 7am to what sounded like a wrestling match, and hot water showers never last more than 5 minutes. The pros outweighed the cons for me though and I'd live here again. Review from 2/7/17 on Google
Oct 2016: The apartment was nice but walls were thin and you could hear everything going on in other rooms. The parking garage is too tiny, inconvenient, and prone to towing. The other facilities were adequate and clean. Review from 10/12/16 on Google
Aug 2016: My biggest complaint is the new office staff, mostly XXXX. She is hands down the most unprofessional manager of an apartment complex i've ever seen. She is honestly just an awful person and horribly mean and rude to all residents and staff/maintenance, in all the interactions i've seen with myself and other residents. She is the reason I decided to not renew my lease and move somewhere else where I can have a good, PROFESSIONAL relationship with apartment staff. I understand that there were problems with how the Bartram was being run before, and I did too, but it has gotten even worse under Bobby Jo. The rest of the staff is usually fairly nice, occasionally annoyed to pick up packages but they're mostly good at interacting with residents. Review from 8/24/16 on Google
