Feb 2018: From the first step onto the property I knew this was the right place for my son. The courteous staff, meticulously clean property, and numerous amenities sold us. Review from Google
Feb 2018: Mixed feelings about the retreat. Out of all the complexes here, this one grabbed my attention. When I first moved in, the vents were filthy. There were other people living here though so I just assumed my roommates weren't keeping up with cleaning. Everything was fine for a while but then came the bugs. We have had many cockroach infestation problems living here even though they supposedly spray in the house. The sprinklers are broken, they never trim hedges (put in several maintenance requests, and went personally to the clubhouse and it still didn't work), the stove only has two working out the four... They're also very inconsistent with trash pick up. Recently it's been better but sometimes we'll have trash sitting out there for days before one bag is even picked up. We also STILL have a wasps nest by our front door that has yet to be remo Review from Google
Dec 2017: WARNING! DO NOT LIVE HERE The retreat is just another greedy company that invests in student housing to take advantage of young and inexperienced students. They don't care about you whatsoever. You are just another number to them. The staff on location is nice and it's not their fault. They are left to deal with problems that are out of their control and should already have been taken care of. When I moved in, every appliance in the entire house was broken and it took maintenance more than 3 months to fix it. But only after submitting 20 work orders because maintenance would check off the problem online saying that they fixed it when they never even came to our house. Review from 12/5/17 on Google
Dec 2017: READ BEFORE SIGNING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AWAY INTERNET AND HIDDEN FEES PROBLEMS BELOW ALSO THEY GIVE $5 GIFT CARDS TO THOSE WHO WRITE GOOD REVIEWS KEEP THAT IN MIND HIDDEN FEES There are HIDDEN fees that they do not tell you, such as the "annual simple bills service charge" that is 50 dollars and you will go over your electricity bill by $80+ during your first month because they combine the months of both August and September electric bills. You will have to pay another $12 dollars a month because you will go over your electric bill by at least $50, so you will have to split that with your roommates (My roommates and I literally tried our best to conserve our electricity by not even turning an lights on until it was pitch black). Review from 12/3/17 on Google
Nov 2017: it’s really nice and the maintenance staff stays on top of things pretty well, i’ve never had any problems living here :) Review from 11/14/17 on Google
Nov 2017: Decided to renew my lease because of the niceness of the staff. Received a lot of info and their staff member XXXX always gladly helped me without any difficulties! Review from 11/13/17 on Google
Sep 2017: Absolutely horrible move-in experience. Unit is filthy, bugs, broken furniture, holes in walls, stained carpeting. Promised it would be pristine by move in day. Buyer beware. Suggest that you do not take any personal effects in until properly inspecting your unit. Review from 9/20/17 on Google
Apr 2017: lived here for three years and love it. community feel, great amenities, and awesome staff. Most of the staff live on site so you can always find them to talk to. Special shout out to my man Torian. Always there to help and make sure the communities comfortable. Review from 4/10/17 on Google

Apr 2017: The retreat has every amenity I ever wanted and more. The pool is beautiful and the Starbucks coffee machine saves my life. The property is really well maintained, maintenance issues get fixed quickly, and my closet is huge
Jan 2017: Wonderful place to live! The property is well kept with the exception of some people who don't like to pick up after themselves but maintenance is always sure to keep everything looking good. The office staff members are very respectful and get things done in a timely manner.cottages are very pretty and spacious. The retreat has everything you need to do well in school and live comfortably :) Review from 1/2/17 on Google
Dec 2016: I want to start by saying I have lived in the retreat for three years now and I can still easily say how lucky I am to live in such an outstanding and well kept community. The Retreat provides you with the utmost standard of living, giving you amenities that are extremely convenient and unmatched by any other housing community. The property its self is run by the most attentive and efficient staff, that make sure they go above and beyond to make the residents experience here enjoyable. The property managers, XXXX and XXXX have been nothing but amazing when it comes to making sure their residents are happy and taken care of. I have enjoyed every minute of my time living at the Retreat and couldn't recommend it more! Review from 12/27/16 on Google
Dec 2016: Moved to Retreat Orlando in August 2015 for my undergrad at UCF. The amenities alone make it worth living there. You've got the covered full size basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, gym, sauna, an enormous resort style pool and even a tanning salon. there's a free shuttle that will take you to school and bars. The staff takes great care of the residents and maintenance keeps the place spotless. would recommend to family and friends! Review from 12/24/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I lived in the retreat from 2014 to 2015. Me and my friends we're the first people to ever live in our unit and things started off awesome in the beginning and slowly spiraled down as time progressed. The units are nice at first glance, it wasn't until a few months in did I realize how cheaply build this place is. I could hear water run down my wall when my roommates above me would flush the toilet, the carpet falls apart fairly easily and the paint on the walls is so thin, I would frequently joke about it being shake and bake pan cake mix. I tried to rub a scuff off the wall using a wet paper towel and the paint started coming off. You could also hear everything through the walls which was annoying. Review from 4/22/16 on Google
Feb 2016: Edited: The Retreat is an interesting but cool experience. The pool is gorgeous and the times are fun. If you want a unique and cool college experience, this is the place to be. Review from 2/7/16 on Google
Feb 2016: Everything is great. Everyone here is so friendly and I feel like I am in a vacation home! The beach styled pools, the pool tables, study area, STARBUCKS MACHINE (thank you 😩✊). Long story short... If you aren't living here... You really ain't living *Dr. Kanye shrug* Review from 2/3/16 on Google
Dec 2015: I have loved my experience living at The Retreat! It is more expensive than other places in the area but for what you are paying for, it is beyond worth it. The staff is always super friendly and ready to assist you for whatever you need and work orders are always completed the same day or the next day. Review from 12/17/15 on Google
Dec 2015: I live here now, and like others have said, don't expect the staff to be helpful or anything in the house to work. The air conditioning in our house was broken after move-in, and it took the maintenance 2 weeks and 3 visits to finally fix it, which is unacceptable for how much they charge. Our dryer has been broken for two weeks, and the maintenance has been to our house twice to "fix" it, but it's still broken. I'm completely fed up with this place. Review from 12/10/15 on Google
Dec 2015: Does not deserve even one star. What a poorly built development!!!! While the management tries to be helpful, Landmark corporation xxxxx, assigned to this property is truly horrible, unprofessional and dishonest. The way they treat their residents is shameful. Hope you're lucky enough not to have everything in your cottage break within the first few months of moving in. If your electric works, it won't be long before it breaks. If your air conditioning works at least sometimes, it probably will break on those really hot days when you need it most and if your plumbing works, you probably have a leak somewhere you don't even know about. Review from 12/2/15 on Google
Aug 2015: Barely deserves one star. Prices were higher than advertised because of additional fees (like electricity ugh), felt like they were trying to nickel and dime me for everything. Because the entrance looks so gorgeous and the place on the outside looks nice with all of the "ammenities" I decided to get a room here. The first week here both my phone, and credit cards + ID were stolen. That probably because they have soooo many non residents coming here. WiFi in my room was spotty, maintenance never took care of anything! Even if you get them to service things multiple times. I had an issue with my shower and sink, both would not drain for over a weeks, this is my last week in this dump, never got fixed. Review from 8/1/2015 on Google
Jul 2015: I would never recommend this place to anyone even if I hated them. These people try to get every cent possible out of your pocket, the management is terrible and will never fix any problems you have in your cottage, the leasing staff are unwelcoming and make you feel extremely uncomfortable, the prices are way too high for a average or more the less low quality house/furniture if furnished. They'll inform you that if you buy the utility package, overages will be almost impossible, but my roommates and myself went over every single month AT LEAST $40 per person. Review from 7/17/2015 on Google
Jul 2015: The Retreat is the bomb diggity! I wish I could stay here for my last year but my roommates don't like the price tag. Well it is well worth it! The amenities and helpfulness of the staff and maintenance are unmatched! A+++ Live. Love. Retreat! Review from 7/3/2015 on Google
