Sep 2019: This is very bad and worst apartment I have met. The apartment very old and maintenance very bad. The people work in the office is very bad. When you move out , you can not get any deposit back, they also charge several hundred dollars extra. When you move out, they just let you turn in the keys. did not go with you check the room. after two weeks, they give you a list of charge: total additional charge is $1118.65 . You want to them explain the charge. They will not talk to you anymore. Review from Google
Aug 2019: AVOID THE PLACE. Their business practice is based on fraud. Let me give the background, I am an international student and lived here for four years and after the manager changed this is the worst place to leave. She and the staff (except the maintenance guy who is perfect ) are rude, no respect to customers. I moved out three weeks ago and when I was moving out no staff came to apartment to check it with me, they said the practice is to do it after you leave. Now they send me fake charges. First, they are charging us $30 for failing to return two keys, but we did that and the staff and manager herself were witnesses. I, my wife and my friend deep cleaned house, but now they are charging us more than $100 for failing to clean the kitchen, stove and baseboards. Clearly this is a crime and horrible business practice. Fortunately, I am still in the USA and going to dispute fake charges. Review from GoogleAug 2019: Just moved here!! I'm writing this as it’s morally wrong for Redstone business practices which I’m sure they must do the same to several other struggled students.
AVOID THIS PLACE, if you are an international student. Your deposit will never be returned, after you left College Station, TX.
They even faked a parking sticker of my American friend who lived here with me but graduated earlier. Who with a car will need two parking cards for apartment? Yes, the fake one copied and claimed we never return the second parking card which he has no idea on how the hell on earth this card came from.
Additionally, they informed later after I left for cleaning service fees of carpet dirts they found later after I was gone. Note that staffs checked the room areas with me before my departure which they said everything is fine, you will receive the returned deposit later.
Clearly, this is a crime, but I live on other part of planet so cannot do anything Review from Google
Jul 2019: Awful manager to talk with. She randomly hangs off your call and speaks very very rude. She argue with everyone when people is going to move out. And very prejudice when you pay the monthly rent. Never meet such awful and uncomfortable people in CS. High utility cost due to the A/C. Every year increase the rent and extra charge. Late maintenance for your requests and huge cost for the old A/C. Very easy to find a better place to live and must move out. Review from Google
Jul 2019: After you move out, the new manager will give you negative review, so you will be hard to find the new apartment. Avoid this apartment, the company is in CA, the communication is really inefficient. Review from Google
Jun 2019: This Is A Good Quiet Neighborhood, Silvia In The Front Office Is Amazing . She’s Did Everything She Could For Us . We Were On A Time Limit And She Got Us Into a Nice Apartment In Less Then 3 Days . I would recommend Her 100% . Review from Google

I was very skeptical to tour and even to sign a lease just because of these negative reviews, however, I have learned from being a resident at Redstone Apartments that the negative reviews come from resident past and present who did not get their way because they did not fully read their lease contract. The management, especially Symone (the property manager) have been absolutely wonderful to me. I have never had an issue with them nor have I had an issue with my unit. They care so much, I wish I could stay, however, my job is transferring me to another state. I hope you all disregard these negative reviews as they are written by upset past/current residents that did not get their way. Sep 2018: The apartments themselves were ok and the location is very convenient with students. My apartment flooded 6 times due to bad drainage before it was fixed. Maintenance works hard but are overwhelmed with aging apartments. I honestly did not expect to receive my deposit back even though i kept the place nice but to be charged extra on things that were always kept clean is unacceptable. DTI is known for doing everything to keep your deposit but $210 in extra charges is insane. We will see how long this review stays up. Redston is a decent place, well located with nice people around you.
To the people crying that they did not receive the deposit, I got to tell that I got a full refund! I assume that was Because we were clean and returned the apartment in good shape.
Thanks for your patience and your help, I did not appreciate how good you were at the time, which is funny because I moved to another condo 5 times more expensive (once graduated) and I always was missing Pacco and the other guy. I’ve had items taken by staff while away from my home .. If they suggest you need a Digital Box from Sudden Link to watch cable please say no. Recently, sudden link billed me $78.41 and threatened to put it on my credit if the payment wasn’t made .. Come to find out Redstones wasn’t paying the $3.50 charge for over 10 months , plus lates fees.
Kaitlyn & Samone are full of smiles, until after you sign your lease agreements. They favorites words are “I’ll get back at you.†... and that never happens. This place is full of BS!!!
