As a previous resident, they are probably the worst place to lease a place. The leasing office people are super rude once you move out. They ask you to email and communicate with their corporate office and impose random charges.
The apartments are infested with roaches and rats. (We even caught one. )
Even for Indian students , please don't get attracted with their no deposit policy. Its better to Pat and live without a constant threat of getting sick due to roaches and other pests.
They when tried to charge residents to pay for parking. Not to mention the pool, they probably clean it once every semester. Review from Google
Jul 2017: Please do not fall for the "No deposit" scheme that these people run for luring tenants to lease their property. Stayed at this place for a year. They compensate for that by giving you a heavy move out fees.
A) They will not give you a fresh apartment, with everything checked and working. You need to check each and every bulb, port and corner of your house and report within 48 hours of moving in to avoid being charged for a repair they ignored to make.
B) Once you report the repair, it may take anywhere between 1 week to 2-3 months for them to come and repair it. There are only 2 people who look after the repairs in the whole property.
C) Bed bugs: This apartment is hands down the most bed bug prone apartment in the College Station/Bryan area. So much that they offer a free treatment for the first time you have bed bugs in your house. The Review from Google
May 2017: I've lived at college main for about 2 years from 2015 to 2017. In these 2 years the apartment had numerous issues. The air conditioning would break down frequently in the summer. It took repeated complaints to have it fixed. Atleast 4 complaints in a span of 3-4 months.
The shower stopped working. The ceiling would leak. That's water from the toilet dripping in to your kitchen. The toilet downstairs broke down and had to replaced and it wasn't mounted correctly. It still swings a bit when you sit on it.
The general attitude of the management is lazy and unhelpful.

A lot of Indian students live in this apartment complex so you will never feel away from home if you are an incoming student from India. The staff is very cooperative if you speak nicely with them. My experience has been very good in the 2 years I lived in this place. Review from GoogleSep 2016: The management staff are rude and look for issues to impose a fine. Once a letter somehow fell off on the ground, just below our mailbox, while the postman was putting letters inside the mailboxes. It was posted to our address, meant for the previous residents of the apt. College Main authorities imposed a fine of $25 on us for "throwing away someone else's letter" !! When we tried to explain that it wasn't our fault & we didn't have anything to do with it, they sternly said on our face that they don't believe us. This is just one incident to mention. They never really cared to listen to our point. The carpets were old with stains, the curtains were old & breaking off at places, living room didn't have sufficient light.

We were unloading our uhual and got a fine for having furniture outside for more than 30 minutes yet we were moving in. Had no electricity in the room for 2 months but never sent no ody. Things always get burned out with the connectors. Have gone through 4 microwave due to the ghetto rewired outlets.... Dont pay your rent before the 3rd because in the 4th they put an eviction notice... They are pathetic. Manager must have something up her butt or doesnt have a partner because she is rude...... they do have very nice maintenance people though but they just dont get work orders.

Downsides are the age and cramped nature's of the apartments. I like the idea of laundry cards, but I wish you could refill them at a kiosk rather than only in the main office.

Jan 2016: It's a bit old but they have big kitchens and the response time to a complain is very fast. Also free internet :)

Sep 2015: The place is decent enough to live though it is a old apartment when compared to the other building.
Until March 2015 Management was good enough, helpful to student. A New director has moved or may be she existed but never worked lazying around and hence I never interacted with her. All the helpful people have moved out because of this irritating director. She is useless,lazy, good for nothing. Things which could take a few minutes take days together. Even if things could be done right away she slacks. I would not suggest anyone to go here unless you have no other options only the reason being management has changed and its pathetic now.
Review from 9/4/15 on GoogleJun 2015: This place is awful: terrible management and old units. They will try to rip you off by any mean. When you move out they will charge you a $50 move out fee, plus cleaning fees even if you make sure you clean the unit very well.
They will also charge you if you ask for maintenance !!!
The internet is not free as they say because you have to buy a modem or rent one.
This place is not worth your money. You can find much better places.
The only good thing about College Main Apartments is the proximity to campus.
