Hi, Loading...

Aug 2019: I had to move out of state for a new job and I was so sad that I had to leave Remington Place. What a great place to live! I loved being right on Lake Johnson, you can walk to it using connector trails right on the property. The complex is extremely quiet, and has everything you need—there’s a new pet play area, a nice pool, and great floor plans. The apartment I rented had new appliances (hello gas stove!) and nice renovations. I wished that the renovations had included overhead lighting in the living room and bedroom, but having lamps was just fine. Overall, definitely recommend! Review from Google
Jul 2019: I LOVE living at Remington Place! I am a property manager myself and these guys know just what they are doing! Maintenance is Awesome! Mike has always taken care of the few issues I have, quickly, professionally and on the first trip. He is great! Kenya was my leasing agent and everything with her has been a dream! I love living here and think that the management is literally one of the biggest amenities this community has to offer! I have even seen them go through management company transitions but NOT ONCE did the customer service drop! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great layout, price and location. This community literally has it all! Thanks amazing Remington staff we love y'all!!!! Review from Google
May 2019: This is definitely my favorite apartment I've ever lived in! My apartment is giant and has two master suites, a sunroom, a covered porch, a fireplace, and four closets. The community and apartments are quiet and peaceful. The office staff is amazing and they go above and beyond. The maintenance guys are always on top of things and take care of any issues quickly. The location right next to Tryon Road, the highway, and Lake Johnson can't be beat. I can get to NC State in less than 10 minutes, I can get to downtown Raleigh in 10 minutes, I'm within 20 minutes of the airport, I'm close to the mall, multiple movie theaters, grocery stores, and one of the biggest shopping centers in the area. My only complaint would be that my apartment is not renovated, but I know that it would cost more if it was. I would definitely recommend this community!
Mar 2019: Online and on the door it says they are open on Saturdays. I drove 20 minutes to come get some info on a Saturday at 2pm and they were closed with no explanation. I called and emailed and received no reply. So unprofessional Review from Google
Jan 2019: just renewed my lease, but now looking for a new apartment. Since Drucker and Faulk took over management for the newest owner, you have to be prepared to have someone inspecting your apartment every month. They come up with unique reasons-looking at lights and smoke detectors one month, then fireplaces another month, general inspections yet another month. To check your air filters or some other reason. It is annoying and disruptive and has me ready to find another apartment. Nice floor plans and staff, but annoying quirks with the management and leases. Review from Google
Nov 2018: I lived at Remington Place several years ago and loved my time there. The floor plans are huge! The location is great. I could go shopping in Cary, run downtown Raliegh for some amazing eats, or visit friends in Garner all within 15min drive. Plus you could jump on 40 at Gorman St. just one street over for travel further from home. The staff at the time was amazing, the girls in the office were always nice and helpful and the maintenance team was quick to respond to any request I had made. It just felt "homey" (that's a word right) The trees and over all feel just made it a great place to come back to at the end of a long workday. If I ever decide to move back to the Raleigh area Remington will be the first place I stop in looking for an apartment. Review from Google
Aug 2018: We have been living here only a couple months and we absolutely love it. Every problem or concern we have had has resolved quickly, the office staff know us by name and greet us warmly every time we come to pick up a package or have a question. It has been a stress free experience living here, even maintence is exceptionally quick. The apartments are beautiful and clean and we love the trees and beauty around us, its a little retreat from the busy city. We love the lake and go for runs/walks often and it is wonderful to live just a short walk from it. Review from Google

Its a very clean and upkept neighborhood as well. I took a chanve snd visited only once from out of state and im glad I did. Its definitely a gem. Review from Google

Apr 2018: Been living there for over 4 years now, never had a problem the management didn't resolve quickly. Great location near the lake and close to downtown. No complaints. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Running late for a 1pm appointment because of a lunch (less than 2 miles away) get a call around 1:01pm and confirm we're on our way. Arrive by 1:10 to see the office closed until 2pm (which is when another appointment would happen). Waited until 1:40 to realize the staff was out-out. Love that time limit after confirming we were on our way. Review from Google
Aug 2017: Best place I've lived in. Amazing manager, maintenance and staff. Jordan (the manager) has went over and beyond expectations. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. I feel save and at ease. I love the layout, space and feel of the whole apartment. It's huge. I plan on living here for quite a while. Review from Google

Jul 2015: My husband & I moved into Remington Place in the middle of March after living in a home for 47yrs. In April new management took over for Bell, the staff is fabulous. They made us feel like we are family. We had a few maintenance issue that were taken care of within 24hrs.They are making upgrades to the complex. We had a bug issue and the next day my apt was sprayed. We never hear our neighbors,I though we were the only people living here Review from 7/2/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Feb 2015: I have been renting at bell for quite sometime. My apartment is drafty due to single pane windows and sliding glass doors. The apartment is old and outdated. Maintenance rarely fixes things correctly and always uses budget fixes and duct tape routes. We have had so many issues in our apartment and have had to invest dime after dime into fixing things ourselves. Our tub broke at the bottom. The air conditioning flooded and I had to stay up all night to repeatedly soak up water. The apartments are infested with roaches and centipedes. The cable connections in the buildings are so old that the cable goes out constantly. The carpet was disgusting when we moved in and is falling apart (management refuses to replace before a certain # of years). Review from 2/19/15 on Apartment Ratings
Jan 2015: Remington Place used to be a nice affordable place to live. I loved it at first! As others have said, the management has quickly killed ANY hope of it being nice or affordable. It is conveniently located next to Lake Johnson which is beautiful. However, it is next to I-40 (where continuous construction will begin) and the main road, Lake Dam, is closed indefinitely until the bridge can be repaired. The apartments are older and not as pretty as newer places. The counter tops, cabinets, etc vary by apartment. You could get "nicer" laminate counter tops or you could get the ones that wipe off easily (sadly, yes). Appliances are new and the stove is gas. Heat and hot water are also powered by gas. However, the insulation is horrendous so most of the heat will escape, and you'll pay a great deal to heat or cool off even the smallest of apartments. Review from Google
Jan 2014: I love living here- I have also posted my review to yelp. This apartment has everything I wanted in an apartment. We live facing the woods which is awesome the view is incredible and it's very private and quiet. For what we pay this place is a steal. Mike the maintenance guy is incredibly kind and quick to fix anything in our apartment that breaks. Brenda in the front office is professional and knowledgeable. We have great neighbors and everyone is quiet and friendly. Thanks Bell Apartments! - Erica B and Robert R Review from 1/24/2014 on Apartment Ratings
Jan 2014: We have lived here for about 6 months at this point with about 6 more miserable months to look forward to. I love my neighbors and I love how dog friendly this place is, however, the amount of rent we're paying is absolutely ridiculous considering how much we hate this apartment. Everything breaks, I put in at least 35 maintenance requests in the first two months I lived here, some things they fixed right away, others they "ghetto-rigged" and ignored-- ex. We had mold in the ceiling of our bathroom. It was black and the ceiling was breaking off in places. Their fix? Spray some bleach on it I mean really? The place is horribly sealed. Jan 2014: I lived here for five years and found it to be the best apartment living anywhere, and I've lived in many places. The staff was always friendly, attentive, understanding and just nice. The apartments are huge, (gas stove!) the grounds are very well kept, maintenance was always spot-on, and the proximity to the Lake Johnson trails and lake is a huge plus. My dog never seemed more at home here. Great place to live. Review from Google
Jun 2013: We have really enjoyed our time here over the past 2 years at Remington Place and would highly recommend it to anyone settling in the area. Here is a list of the pros & cons (though the pros certainly outweigh the cons!): Pros: -There is a direct path that leads you to Lake Johnson's trail in 3 mins. right outside your door -It is in a very good location: near NCSU, near Cary Crossroads, etc. -The front office staff are very kind and always willing to help. The maintenance team does a great job. -There is a nice pool and fitness center. Also the community is in a quiet and safe neighborhood setting with lots of trees -Our cats love sitting out on the balcony -The sunroom is a very nice extra feature (not found in many other communities) that makes for a great office space -Our apartment is very spacious and open Review from 6/1/2013 on Apartment Rat
