Hi, Loading...

Feb 2017: I was one of the residents impacted (and eventually forced out) by the flooding following Hurricane Matthew in 2016. While a horrible situation, management was very accommodating in the following days and weeks, even though I left their properties. They were pretty clear about the flooding possibility when I signed the lease and I knew what I was getting into. The location was worth the risk, in my opinion. It's also worth noting, every time there was a flooding threat, management reached out to residents to let them know. Overall, a great place. Had I not been forced out by Mother Nature, I'd still be there. Responsive management, fantastic location and very affordable. The ONLY downside is the risk for flooding. Review from Google
Feb 2017: don't even think about moving here, it's in a flood plain and flooded twice in 2016. The management doesn't tell you until you're ready to sign the lease that flood insurance is recommended. I lost two cars in July to flooding, then before my lease was up hurricane Matthew came and flooded the apartment itself. They were rushing to refurbish the apartments once again, when in fact they should be torn down. Review from 11/20/16 on Google
Oct 2016: Near enough Crabtree Creek Trail to be on a flood plain, which the management doesn't tell you until you're ready to sign the lease. The parking lot was flooded in mid July 2016 and management didn't bother to warn anyone other than sending out an email at 10:30 pm. About a dozen cars were flooded and totaled in the parking lot, including my own. So while great if you enjoy the greenway trails, its actually a little too close to the creek bottomlands. These apartments probably wouldn't be allowed to be built with current flood plain ordinances. You can see on the map where its still showing some apartments even closer to the creek, which aren't actually there any more. The photo below is after the water had gone down over a foot. Update September 2016: Hurricane Matthew came through and flooded the apartments, forcing me to move. Management Review from Google

Sep 2015: We love living at Parkside Five Points Apartments. The place itself is very spacious and modern. It has huge windows with lots of incoming light. We would not change the location for the world. It is located off a road that comes to a dead end and it surrounded by large trees. Across the street is a great park to take our dog to play and we never have to worry about having to find additional parking. The staff is super friendly and takes care of any maintenance issues we have had immediately!! We love it here! Review from Google
