Feb 2017: The environment is beautiful and quiet, the staffs are helpful, and their services are professional. Lake Johnson Mews is somewhere that once you moved in, you can hardly find another alternative community. Review on 02/17/17 on Apartment Ratings
Feb 2017: There are a number of things that have greatly impressed me about living at Lake Johnson Mews:
1. The leasing office staff are extremely nice and helpful; without the corporate feel of most apartment complexes.
2. Maintenance requests are received/completed with haste.
3. Signing the lease online and having the option to pay rent online is awesome and convenient.
4. They pick up your trash & recycling at your door. Amazing.
5. Units/buildings/landscape/tennis court/pool are very well taken care of and manicured.
6. Location location location = super dope.
7. High ceilings and wood burning fire place's inside!!!
8. Complex has its own dog park (Bark Park)!

Feb 2017: I like everyone in the office and maintenance, I just don't like how much the rent goes up each year, and I know they have nothing to do with that. It shouldn't go up more than $25 at a time and it goes up $50 or more and you're forced to do 13 months because that is the lowest rent. Jan 2017: Lake Johnson Mews is a great apartment complex. The location is nice and the area feels safe and home-like. I have never had a bad interaction with the staff, and the one time I had a issue, they resolved it. The maintenance staff is speedy in resolving requests, as well. There's a tennis court and a pool, which I love. The staff have always been super awesome, and do little events and gatherings which are nice to have. I'd recommend this area to anyone.

Jun 2016: The Lake Johnson Mews move-in experience was great. I was able to all of the leasing and application work online, with a few minor problems, which was great since I was moving from across the country and couldn't make it to the leasing office. The leasing office was great about responding to my emails and phone calls when things did go wrong or were missing from my online file. Move-In Day was not a disappointment. The apartment was SO CLEAN compared to everything else I've rented and the walls had actually been freshly painted and there was touch-up work done. Apr 2016: In my limited three week experience with Lake Johnson Mews, I have been incredibly satisfied. Maintenance request for my one small issue was resolved in less than 24 hours. I was contacted via email regarding my dog as requested within an hour. I feel very welcome and among my peers. I feel my dog is welcome, with the bark park in great condition and the lake within walking distance. Outside is very well lit, and I feel very safe even when coming home late from school. Apr 2016: We love Lake Johnson Mews because of the location and people. We have never had issues with the renters above us. Being next to the park allows us to take daily walks in a very nice environment. The dog park and pets make this a great place to live. We just signed a least to stay here another year and are very excited! The access to the lake is wonderful as is our apartment. We plan to stay here for years while saving up to buy a house. Everyone we have met here including the staff at the office are very friendly. I honestly couldn't be happier with our experience here.

Apr 2016: I read a few of the 1 star reviews and didn't see where they were coming from. I've only seen the best of treatment from the facilities here. The front desk people know us mutually by first name basis and are generally good, giving people. I suspect that the 1 star reviewers might have given the staff here a reason to treat them badly. It goes both ways you know!
Review from 4/25/16 on GoogleApr 2015: They are quick to take your money for application fees and to hold an apartment but slow to give the money back if your application gets denied. Forget about getting a reason for denial other than a callous and minimally worded email. Be warned! We had to call at least four times before we finally got a response. The first time they said it was in the mail and should be there in a few days. The next time we called they said it can take up to 30 days. Day 27 and we still have yet to receive our deposit back! They have a few more days before we will be taking legal action as they are almost at the allowed 30 day mark. So glad we found a better place I would suggest you to look else where!

Close to highways, downtown Raleigh, and Cary. Office staff is fantastic. Neighborhood is quiet. The trail around the lake is connected to the neighborhood for easy access. Great place to be.

Our concerns were addressed immediately and completely and the property management was open and flexible to our unique needs. The property is close to major thoroughfares and is easily accessible, in addition to being quiet and located with a direct walking bath to the lake. I would recommend this location to a friend.

Nov 2013: I've lived in these apartments for almost 6 years, and I love it! Good location, the best office and maintenance staff, always friendly! There is easy access to the lake and a bark park for those who have dogs. I'd recommend it to any one looking for a great community to live in.

Having the main office on site make everything easier especially for an international that prefers to talk face to face with people. Everybody in the office is friendly, courteous, respectful, and welcoming, and extremely efficient. Whenever I have had a repair request (not that many at all) the request has been process quickly and the repair done within the following couple of days or even sooner.
Living next to Lake Johnson is a plus in my life! and so close to NC State and Downtown it is also great.
