Hi, Loading...

Oct 2019: Took my 6 and 4 year old (yeah, I know that's brave). Strolled through the Egyptian art, as well as the Rodin pieces. Rumor is, NC has one of the largest Rodin collections out side of Europe. I can believe that now after seeing it. The west building is beautiful and has great lighting available for the pieces. The staff was great, one lady took the time to explain a few pieces to my kids. Review from Google
Oct 2019: The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We have been to the museum for multiple reasons A. Exhibit (You are here: Light, Color, and Sound experiences), it was myself, 2 teens, 1 elementary and 1 toddler and all enjoyed. B: The Outside Grounds -- pack a picnic and plan for a day to explore, walk, and enjoy these grounds. Absolutely a beautiful gem in Raleigh. Review from Google
Oct 2019: It’s a pretty small museum but the few permanent pieces they have are legit-Rodins sculptures, medieval art and European style paintings. They have a nice walk path that also has large scale installation art and a cafe where I go to just for coffee sometime to sit and read. It’s kind of like a one stop shop where you can go for a nice date or a day out. Nothing spectacular but can’t go wrong with art, coffee and a stroll in the park Review from Google
Oct 2019: This is my favorite place to visit when I’m looking for art in Raleigh. This installation is extraordinary. I have forgotten the name... climbing on the roof and then running around inside while playing my music on the jukebox transformed me into a work of art. I thinkThis is one of the best sculpture gardens on the East Coast. Review from Google
Sep 2019: We very much enjoyed our visit to this museum, with an interesting collection that spans several centuries and types of art. Favorites included the many Rodin sculptures, a few Monets and the entire modern art exhibit. Plan to spend a whole day viewing the permanent collections in the west building, which has a cafe too. The museum also has a variety of docent-led tours that are worth checking out, including a family tour that had young kids completely engaged while we were there. And that’s just the inside exhibits! The museum also has an extensive sculpture collection outdoors too. Definitely a museum that North Carolina folks can be proud of! Review from Google
Sep 2019: The Museum is having West and East Building.Museum clearly portraits the life of People who lived in America,Europe and Egypt. Art works defines the lifestyle of those people’s. It is having a large beautiful grassy Park with small trails. The admission is free,But it is recommended to donate. There is Amphitheater and as well as Auditorium. In West building we can find the Museum store and Iris Restaurant. Review from Google
Aug 2019: This is a very nice museum, and I like the fact that the exhibits change periodically. The good news is admission is free, both for the museum's permanent collection and park, which is a work of art within itself. While art museums may seem geared for adults, that is not true of the NC Art Museum. There are hiking trails in the park along with sculptures as well as sitting areas. The permanent collection is full of a variety of wonderful pieces, including but not limited to: Ancient Egyptian, African, Ancient American, American, Jewish, Italian, Classical, Contemporary, Modern, and a collection of 30 pieces by Rodin, including "The Thinker." The temporary exhibits are always unique and there are always a wide variety of subjects, so there is something for everyone. Review from Google
Jul 2018: A place I call MY HOME 🙂🙂ZANDRA ALEXANDER AND JOE what a joy to the community they are so helpful Like a family always there, highly recommend .... Review from Google

Jan 2018: It's peaceful and relaxing just make sure you get a job closer by or have a car but everything is close by when you need something pretty convenient Review from Google
Nov 2017: Updating my review (10/1/17) Still having issues. So I found if you live on the bottom floor you will be subjected to flooding floors when it rains. The thing is, its not coming from the windows but from the floors. There's also an earwig infestation. You are not allowed to have washer in your unit. Maintenance DO NOT care about the treatment of your belongings. If you need their assistance please move your items before visit For setting your foot in raleigh, you may need to live here the rent is nice and the units are spacious. I wont tell you not to move in, we have to be realistic of our expectations as well as what we can afford. So, if you do/will live here I have some tips. You will most likely have to do the work yourself to make your apartment livable. Many tenants have customized the windows and made proper installments to hang c Review from Google
Oct 2017: Its a clean quite place in the best location in Raleigh N.C.to live even though these apartments are older they are charming and just min walks to shopping dinning and so much more ..... Review from Google
Sep 2017: I lived at apartments at Westgrove for 2 years and our experience was great. Normally, I don't give 5 stars to anything and I was ready to do the same now. My rating would normally be a 4 only because I think they could have just few more resident parking spots. No biggie. However, due to Patrice the property manager and her great service it brought it to a 5. Patrice is truly caring and connects with her residents. Her professionalism is truly commendable. In addition, the property is well kept, the community is nice and having the state fairgrounds and a theater across the street is also an added plus. Review from Google
Sep 2017: Lived here two months and i already can't wait to leave. CONSTANT roach problem and nothing has been done about it. A pond forms behind my apartment when it rains, also DISGUSTING. I was told the day I moved in something was being done about it, NOPE. Still there. So dissatisfied. Review from Google
Aug 2017: Sturdy buildings. Never felt uncomfortable there but it can get a little loud from time to time but nothing too bad Review from Google
Jun 2017: disappointing would be an understatement. Since the new management took over EVERYTHING has gone down hill. The care, concern, and compassion for residences is gone. Maint does a great job and Marley is friendly. Review from Google
Jun 2017: I like being right across from the movie theater. Also, not far from campus. Other than that, it is pretty relaxed, no front office to worry about.
Aug 2016: Very centrally located community that has been making huge renovations and improvements inside the apartments as well as to the community/amenity areas. Management staff is really attentive and professional. Would definitely refer anyone here looking for a reasonable apartment close to Glenwood. Review from Google
Apr 2016: I lived here for 3 years and loved it. The staff were so kind and helpful. The amount of space for the price is amazing. All in all a great place to live. Review from Google
Nov 2015: This apartment complex gives you the very best private living experience. The staff is amazing and are on top of all of your apartment needs. There is so much natural beauty surrounding the apartment complex and every morning I wake up I feel so proud of my apartment choice!!! Hands down the best apartment I have ever lived in and for such a good monthly rate!!! Review from Google
Aug 2015: DO NOT MOVE HERE! This place was amazing until new management, Greystar, took over in June and ever since they've messed up our rent every month and mischarged us but won't own up to it. On top of that the manager is rarely available to talk to about it. The previous management could handle anything 7 days a week and actually listened to us, this new management can't do anything right. Review from Google
Sep 2010: The staff is rude, the bedrooms in the three bedroom townhouse are impossibly small (far too small for an average adult), and maintenance is slow and inconsistent at best. They charged us for repairs that were THEIR responsibility after we moved out. We had multiple problems with water leaks, and many of the outlets didn't work. There were bugs, and the seal on the front door was insufficient--they freely crawled through the gap. The neighborhood and facilities are mediocre at best. There are pet droppings everywhere, and very limited guest parking. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone--stay away. You'll find better deals elsewhere. Review from Google
Jun 2010: I've lived here the last two years in a 3 bedroom townhouse. The place is reasonably priced and really spacious in the kitchen and living room. Except for the master, the bedrooms are fairly small. There is definitely a bug problem, although they come and spray pretty regularly we always kept a can of RAID nearby. We did have a problem with one of the pipes in the upstairs bathroom leaking and had to tell them about 4 times before they finally came and fixed it. However, it has recently come under new management and they seem to be doing a better job. The neighborhood is pretty decent although there are a few people who like to sit outside in their cars with the music blaring at 1 in the morning. It was one of the best priced townhouses in the area and for the price I guess you can't complain. Review from Google
