Hi, Loading...

Jul 2019: If I could give them zero stars I would, because they don’t even deserve one star. I have been living in this apartment for two and a half years. Anytime I have ever asked for maintenance to do work, it is done very poorly. When I moved in, there were obvious signs of previous repairs gone wrong. The bathroom door had been repainted, then closed before drying, so there is a chunk of paint that was ripped off the door and hangs down off the door frame. The fronts of the drawers had been reattached with long sharp screws that stick out about an inch on both sides, so I scratch my hands on them if I am not careful getting things out. Last year I noticed the wet spot was in the exact location of where they had previously patched a leak, so I put in a maintenance request. It took over two weeks to be addressed. They claimed it took so long because they could not get permission to enter the other tenant’s apartment Review from Google
Jun 2019: So far, the Boulders is the apartment complex I like the most in Lubbock, I just moved in about a month ago. I have lived in Lubbock for almost 5 years and moved 3 times. I gave 5 stars because the Bounders cares about my needs and their professional way when working with. 1. I like the response of the property manager on Google when I shopped around for an apartment to move in. She's very professional when interacting with, both online and later in person. 2. Erin, another staff, was so helpful when I looked for an apartment in the Bounders. She was so patient to take me to 3-4 apartments and listened to my need so that we found for me an apartment that fits my needs the most. 3. Other office staffs were friendly and helpful when I needed their help. 4. The rent cost is reasonable for the size of my apartment in comparison to the market. 3. It's a beautiful community with a lot of trees Review from Google
Jun 2019: The employees are not the issue!!!! Just inherited a property with too many problems. The noise level is ridicolous and too many people who have a lot of energy at night. When you call for maintenance they are timely and professional. When you call the office they are all awesome and helpful. I do think they are trying to make things better, it will just take a while. May 2019: I have to say these apartments are by far the worst i have ever rented at. Just moved in and already having problems here. Moved in to a broken AC unit... called so many times to get it fixed and all they say is it has to be over 80 degrees for them to put freon in but thats bull. My brother works for sinclair and they said the EPA standards are 70 degrees. I have not been able to even sleep here yet cause its so hot at night. I never comment on anything but i dont want anyone going through what im going through very stress out. Review from Google

Feb 2019: Theresa was very helpful and made feel welcome I would recommend this place to anyone and ask for theresa
Feb 2019: The entire office staff: Theresa, Holly and Maria- they're all amazing! They're the entire reason I rent from Boulders! They make the moving experience so much easier! The apartments are the nicest I found in Lubbock, for an affordable price. The difference- the office staff! Holly was the first welcoming face, followed by There's and Maria to make a trifecta of perfection in anything you could possibly need. They will go above and beyond to make you feel like you're no just an apartment number. Whoever hired this group, they know what they're doing!!
Jan 2019: I’ve lived here going on another year they are awesome. They come fix anything when you need them to. And it’s a great area to live in Review from Google
Jan 2019: I moved out of the Boulders after living there several years a couple of months ago. Asked for my deposit back, first was told my credit was so good, I did not have to put one down. After showing management a cancelled check, was told that was an application fee. If you are looking for very outdated, rundown, and worn out apartments, then this dump is for you. Don’t believe anything the office staff tells you. Just read the other reviews. Make Lubbock Great Again. Guns Up! Review from Google
Nov 2018: I am a current resident that doesn’t recommend this property to anyone. The office staff will make you every promise in the world to get you to sign a lease i.e make improvements on the apartment. This is my second year at the Boulders they still haven’t made the outside esthetically pleasing in front of my apartment. As for the up grades that were promised so I would sign another year lease. I am now being told I didn’t get it in writing so those updates will not be made unless I pay for them on top of the almost thousand dollar rent. Do NOT be the next one to fall for misleading promises and lies! On top of that I was just sent a water bill? Water is included in my rent mind you they have shut the water off repeatedly and yet I received a bill! RUN don’t walk away from this property. I tell everyone I can DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMP Review from Google
Oct 2018: We are currently renting here and have only lived in our unit for a month. We have been experiencing leaks from the ceiling and patio door that flood our bedroom every time it rains. We have put in a total of 4 maintenance request since we moved in yet nothing has changed but it has actually gotten worse because now the ceiling “patch” has caved in and we have a hole in our ceiling. The leasing office is refusing to be proactive so it is evident that they have known about this issue and shouldn’t have rented this apartment unit to us. They offered to move us to a different apartment unit but for a higher rent, now does that make any sense to you? I’m very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from the management team when it comes to taking care of their renters. Take caution when thinking about choosing this place to call “ho Review from Google
Oct 2018: Would give it a zero but their is no opportunity to do so. Absolutely the worst first apartment experience!! They do not know how to give you the right information or follow any contract, due to giving you the wrong information. They need to actually give the right information and fix their management. I paid $803 dollars for a 1 bedroom at my move out month when I was paying $586. I have a broken dishwasher, broken air conditioner, broken door hatches, broken toilet seat, and my door knob to my front door is always falling off because they buy cheap stuff that doesn’t even fit in the door!!! Do not rent here! P.S. They’re always shutting your water off. Review from Google
Aug 2018: This is the worse place ever do not rent here. Our a/c been out for weeks again this year and they have not done anything to fix it. I have put in work order after work order and still nothing. They say it has to the over 70 degrees outside in order to work on it, and it has been plenty of times since our requests. It sucks when it is 80 degrees outside and your apt is over 90 degrees and they expect you to stay in there. This happened last year and finally after almost weekly repeated problems for a few months they gave us a compressor from another apartment. Now we are having the exact same problems this year. Secondly, when maintenance does come they cause damage. They had to replace our kitchen light, and they damaged our light covers and left a huge mess. They do not leave notes stating they have been there or if they made any repairs. Fi Review from Google
Aug 2018: I have been very happy here. I just finished a year here and have just signed for another year on an updated apartment. There has been things that stopped working like the ac or garbage disposal but they have always had someone fix it in about 30min. And the ladies at the office have been very kind to myself and my son Review from Google
May 2018: If I could give less stars I would. To start off I'd like to mention that these apartments are OLD. Pre-efficiency windows, consistent plumbing, and I'm assuming electrical code era. If you decide to live in an apartment with windows, don't. In the summer there is nothing that the lowest-grade AC equipment they provide you with can do for you. In winter you should make sure that there are towels and rugs underneath every door and around every window if you do not want to freeze in your sleep. The sheet of wood-like vinyl floors in the bathroom and kitchen are chipped and lifting up. The carpet is most definitely stained and makes you afraid to walk around in your own home without shoes. We moved in to a broken bathroom sink faucet that took 2 weeks to replace. That's if your water is running during the time you need to get ready. There hav Review from Google
Apr 2018: They turn my water off often without letting me know ahead of time. Say they only do it in emergencies so i guess I have about five emergencies a month or more. Review from Google
Feb 2018: AMAZING prices and a FANTASTIC location! Office staff is just wonderful! Review from Google
Jan 2018: This is one of the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I am a travel nurse so I rent this for my son and I stay there the days I work. Always people drinking and fighting at all hours of the night. The VERY FIRST DAY I moved in, there was no water at all because they had turned it off due to a water leak and didn't tell me. They replaced the water heater and 10 min later I had a huge water leak coming from the upstairs. They only came to fix it because we had called so many times and it had flooded the down stairs. Took them two weeks to come and fix the flood damage and the room still looks horrible. Our front door handle feel off when my son was trying to leave the house. He called the 24 hour line and they told him "oh well, we can't fix that". I called and said if anything gets stolen in my house because y'all are too lazy to fix it, Review from Google
Dec 2017: Wish I could leave 0 stars. This place was an absolute dump to live in! Ceilings were always leaking and it took maintenance weeks to come or they would say they were coming and wouldn’t show up so I got stuck calling the office 100 times. They would hardly ever answer even when you did call. I would not recommend this place to anyone! It definitely needs to be updated it looks like they try to paint the bathtubs to look clean because when you actually clean them it just peels right off! The ac units are never working! Was so glad to finally leave this place! After 3 different apartments thinking things would get better they just got worse! Save your money and go somewhere else! Review from Google
Dec 2017: To be fair I feel like these apartments are over priced for their age but they are in a pretty safe neighborhood and all the people that live here are pretty nice and easy to get along with. One of my friends had there ceiling fall in in the bathroom and to their credit they did move them to a new unit so the place could dry out and they could take care of the mold issues. I just think for.the price they could update some stuff like every bathtub I have seen could be replaced for sure they are not really the most expensive tubs and the same.type would due they just need new ones. Really the rating has nothing to do with how you are treated the employees are nice. They just expect you to pay rent like anywhere else. I just think they are getting a little old and could use a facelift. Alot of the washers and dryers in the laundry room do not wo Review from Google
Aug 2017: Not the best place to live. Lived there for close to 3 years through different managers and various neighbors. We always had issues with the a/c never working right. It would get upwards of 89 degrees and stay that way until night time during the summer. We filed numerous work orders and throughout the years it was never dealt with. They would just clean it and add more freon which was just a crappy bandaid. We also let them know about the sinking balcony and they said it was natural even though it a crack in it grew over an inch in a year. They didnt even look at it. We were also glad about moving out due to the constant noise from the 2 families that crammed themselves into the apartment next to us. Review from Google
May 2017: HORRIBLE place to live! A/C was already broken when I move in, in May 2016 and they just NOW got it fixed in April 2017! Had a huge whole in the ceiling from the rain and it never got fixed! Called them multiply times about it and they did nothing! MOST HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE! Review from 5/7/17 on Google
