Apr 2018: The Gables Midtown staff is professional and SOOOO accommodating!!!! Deborah and the entire office staff went above and beyond as we moved our daughters helping to make us feel welcomed and answer any questions or concerns. They even host special events for the residents that creates a community and neighborhood atmosphere! Review from Google
Apr 2018: My move in was fine! It was quick and efficient. Deborah was very confident in the apartment and she has a beautiful personality. She helped me and my son get moved during an emergency and make the transition easier. You definitely want to move here. I do not regret my decision and I love my apartment. It not only overlooks the pool but I can see Downtown Midtown from my living room and balcony. Go see Deborah in the office if you want to move here. Brittny the Assistant was very nice and perky as well. - Anthony Kirven Review from Google
Apr 2018: Moved in a few months ago. Main Pros: - Central location - Large windows in apartment bring in light - Large/bright workout room - Concrete walls (alleviating noise) - All around nice layout, appliances, and views. Main Cons: - Parking garage is hard to navigate (dark and tight) - Packages must be picked up from the office, during office hours. Would love an automatic system I have seen other places. - Not the cheapest in the area. - Comcast is the only option for internet. I have had no situations in which I felt less than safe. Conclusion: - While not the cheapest complex around, a very nice place to live, with many accompanying amenities (pool, workout room, Pressbox dry cleaning service). I'd rate it accordingly if I felt it deserved less than five stars. Definitely worth a tour of the place! Will update if things change. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I have lived here for 6 years. Year One- three the building was always clean. Year 4 through the present the whole leasing office staff and management team changed (for the worse) Not all of the staff members are terrible but some are. The garage that use to stay clean all of the time is now constantly dirty. Black grit collects at the end of every ramp in the garage, the hallways are NEVER EVER CLEANED and when they do clean they take the machine and go down the middle of the hallway once ( not to mention they will only do half of a floor and not the entire floor), the stairwells are always dirty and they are never checked to see if they need cleaning. I personally or another resident has to tell the leasing office several times before it actually gets cleaned. They charge $200 for a pet DNA to every resident with an animal so that they can r Review from Google
Dec 2017: Couldn’t ask for much better living here honestly! The amenities are great! Gables is also very on top of making improvements to the community here to make our living experience better. They have responded to service requests right away and the staff/security personnel is wonderful. Couldn’t be happier. Review from Google
Dec 2017: ***Edited because our cars have been booted TWICE in the span of two months since living here. That’s $150 and we pay a lot of $$$ to live here. For that alone, I would not renew*** Pros: 1) Maintenance - Quick and efficient. Usually always completed in 12 hours. They never called to notify me before coming into the apt while I was at work, which I requested. 2) Amenities - The pool, club lounge, rooftop, and gym are all really nice and well-kept. 3) Location - This is probably the main reason why we enjoyed our time at Gables. It's nice to be next to quaint residential neighborhood for walks, etc. Piedmont Park is down the street, and everywhere in the city is only a 10-15 min drive. 4) Courtyard - I really enjoyed having a courtyard area on the 3rd floor. While it's not the best-maintained, it's nice to have. 5) Sound-proof - I do Review from Google
Oct 2017: I've been living here since April and its really nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled really fast and the maintenance guys are super nice. I read some of these crazy review which are just not true. If you have roaches in your apartment they came here with you cause I've never seen a roaches in my apartment or anywhere on the property. As far as noise, I've never experienced that. Its really quiet I never hear any of my neighbors. As far as the gate, since April I've only seen it down twice and not to the point were you can't get in or out. And all these break in stories are just that stories. Over all its a great place to live, the location couldn't be better. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Deborah is great! Favorite person in the office. Remembers who you are and even our dogs name. Apartment is great. Love rooftop deck. Pool is a little weird is it's between buildings so sun is only on it for so long and people can stare at you from their balconies. The only main concern is security guards they hire suck. And there always seems to be something wrong with the gate to get in or out of parking garage. Review from Google

Sep 2017: I hate bad reviews (especially for apartments) so I'm going to drop my two "sense". I moved in this summer and love my apartment. I have a great view, space is great and the foundation is concrete so I hear nothing on either side of my unit. Not sure where and how anyone can have "uncontrollable" noise complaints. My move-in was super easy and went without a hitch, Dana was great! He still checks to make sure everything is good with my apartment. The presence of security is better than no security at all (some people will never be pleased). It's a 7 and 8 story complex, they can't be everywhere at all times. But I can say there's always someone in the parking garage and hallways. I think some people forget THIS IS THE CITY. There is no place called safe in Atlanta. This isn't East Cobb! May 2017: Pros: 1) Maintenance - Quick and efficient. Usually always completed in 12 hours. They never called to notify me before coming into the apt while I was at work, which I requested, but I can get over that. 2) Amenities - The pool, club lounge, rooftop, and gym are all really nice and well-kept. Our apt was definitely the "place to be" as far as gatherings with friends, etc. Review from 5/17/17 on Google
May 2017: The gate is not operational half of the time, extremely easy to break into, and then we wonder why cars and apartments get broken into. The call box goes down too often, most times I have to come downstairs to let guests in. I had my first late payment (by 1 day) and instead of getting a courtesy reminder letter like a normal complex, I got a very rudely redacted letter of demand of possession of apartment. Additionally, the hallways always smell of drugs, there's people running and screaming down the hallway in middle of night and calling for a noise complaint is useless. Review from 5/14/17 on Google
Apr 2017: If I would have listened to the reviews I would have moved else where. The negative reviews were totally wrong. Crime is everywhere so it's no worst than the next.. the gate has been down maybe 3 times in 4 months and that's because someone tailed another car in. Even in those cases they were fixed within days. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DEBORAH AND JONATHAN!!! So if you go in there ask for them :) though the whole staff is really nice. No problems with maintenance my issues were addressed within 48 hours of it wasn't a emergency. OVERALL I LOVE IT! Review from 4/13/17 on Google
Mar 2017: Gables Midtown is horrible and you are gonna pay a premium for it. Management seems unwilling to assist any endeavor that seems to inconvenience them. The gate is always broken. Although crime is everywhere, cars getting broken into seems like a norm and I have personally had my car broken into. Several residents have had their home broken into. Someone was also held at gunpoint while going to their car. Crazy, I know! You can be booted for using the loading zone to take your groceries to the your house even its late at night if you don't move you car. There's never any parking on your floor so you have to park on the rooftop. Review from 3/6/17 on Google
Feb 2017: Lived here for about 7 months and enjoyed it. Management and maintenance are friendly and responsive. Amenities are nice and seem to be well cared for. Most people's complaints tend to be about crime, trash build up or pets/pet waste. Crime- As far as crime I believe we are just as responsible (if not more) as the management for ensuring our safety. Lock your doors, do not let others enter the secure access areas behind you, be vigilant and report suspicious activity. Review from 2/18/17 on Google
Apr 2016: Warning!! DO NOT LIVE HERE! It will be the BIGGEST mistake of your life and a waste of money. After touring Gables of Midtown I was told that the area is safe and the apartments were "high end". I did think $1400 was a little high for a one bedroom apartment less than 800 square feet but I thought it would be worth it- as the managers explained there was 24 hour security officers, a gym, gated community, rooftop area, ECT. I figured I would bite the bullet, thinking that I would have an awesome first few years in Atlanta staying in my new 5 star apartment. WELL did I get the wool pulled over my eyes... Jul 2015: Staff is very rude and condescending, and scam you for every penny they can. Charged me $150 at move out because "sheetrock repair was needed on a bedroom wall due to holes". The problem is: I only lived there for 4 months and never hung anything on the walls in my bedroom. I am also being charged for "extreme pet odor" which is absolutely absurd. No one that has ever come over has noticed any pet smell, and whatever little smell there is would easily be gone after painting and cleaning the carpets. Trust me I know how pets can smell, but my apartment was always cleaned and kept smelling fresh. I guarantee they charge every single pet owner for "damages" regardless of how the apartment smells. The $500 non-refundable pet fee covers NOTHING. They are liars and I HIGHLY advise against living here. Review from 7/16/15 on Google
Feb 2015: I hate to give Gables a mediocre review because the front office and maintenance people are very nice and responsive, but there have been a few instances of pulled fire alarms in the middle of the night and break ins in the past year that prevent me from giving a better score. Overall the security is getting better with occasional security guards but the complex needs to find out who might be assisting in those crimes to prevent any future incidents. Review from 2/2/15 on Google
May 2014: I moved to gables midtown two years ago. It's a great place to live, and the location is awesome. It's close to the highway and a short ride to bars or restaurants. The staff are all awesome. Maintenance is supposed to be a 24 hour turn around but I've always has my work orders fixed within a few hours. Management does address issues as they come up.
