Mar 2018: I've lived here for ~4 years now.
While parking is a massive pain in the rear (you can always pay ~75 extra for a garage) it's a pretty minimal issue.
The office staff is great, and has worked with me once or twice when I needed to be late on rent, Maintenance staff is wonderful and friendly.
Plus, since they've upgraded to valet trash, it's a lot less hassle to take the trash out.
They always email and update when the pool's going to be getting worked on, or if the dog park's closed for some reason.
The only downside is the price tag. From what i've gathered they use the computer generated model, so 2/2 apartments are going for an absurd amount that they're not worth in the area. (I believe my neighbors are paying 1250-1300 a month.)

Jan 2018: I'll start this off because honestly I was grateful to this place after couch crashing for 3 or 4 months due to my private house leasing going up in flames. But when we had to resign they wanted to charge my roommate who has currently been there the past year with no changes to employment or record almost $125 for the application, background check and some other B.S. fee. And instead of the office contacting us about billing issues such as bounced checks or whatever else (since we both provided our numbers on file) they decide to stick passive aggressive notices in our door saying to pay or else be due for possession. And not mention not giving the proper steps in said notices on what was needed for said late payments. The admin staff are super incompetent and suck at communication. Jan 2018: Been here for a few year. The rooms are nice the pool is awesome and the gym is good just needs a few more leg machines. What really makes it is the nice friendly staff at the office and the cool maintenance crew. Especially George who helps out a ton. Sep 2017: Cat 5 hurricane is a few days away. Shingles on my son's top story apartment were removed weeks ago and never replaced. doesn't sound good for Mission Bay- lawyers love this stuff. We also have a pest problem (roaches and ants) that has been a problem since we moved in but the office has not done anything to fix it even though we brought it to their attention twice. I have had a few things that were "repaired" but never really got fixed. It's a nice place and the cost is good but it's just not worth it.

May 2017: Mission Bay is a very beautiful place to live, but it is a older property built back in the 90s and sometimes there may be issues where you might need to contact the maintenance team. Now, if you have some maintenance issues, you need to address and contact the on-site office immediately. There’s no way they will know you’re having issues if you don’t inform them and/or wait until the last minute.
The reviews that were written by past and current disgruntled tenants are probably the ones who have not been in contact with the staff or have been in violation of the rules.
Review from 5/2/17 on GoogleFeb 2017: Yeah it's pretty bad Apartments, cars being broken into into several times,Wheels have been taken off cars and left blocks,cars that being hit by hit and run driver is 5 times, maintenance is not that great they tell you when they're coming and they never show up , I've had a lot of appliances go bad in the apartment and I don't recommend this place to anybody. My electric bill used to run 200 to $300 a month.

Feb 2017: Honestly one of the worst places I have ever lived in. The staff doesn't care about you, they just care about the money. With the amount of car break-ins, tires being stolen, and hit and runs that happen on their property you would think they'd be much more sympathetic to their residents. Maintence people are always driving so recklessly on their golf carts. You wouldn't believe the amount of times ive seen them almost getting knocked off by a car because they decide not to obey the stop sign and go around the corner really fast or not be patient enough when a car backs up so they try to beat it.

Upon walking into the apartment for the first time, my roommate and I instantly realized the entire apartment smelled like smoke. We were shown an identical apartment in the viewing due to the fact that our apartment was being worked on, so we were not given an opportunity to view our actual apartment. Less than 24 hours after this my roommate and I woke up to a rat scurrying around the apartment. During this incident the rat chewed holes in the baseboards of the door creating large openings that led outside. A snake wandered through the opening and made himself at home with the rat.

The only problem I have with this complex is that I constantly constantly and constantly am submitting service requests because something is always happening in my apartment. Whether it's from ants coming from Windows to water heater upstairs bursting and causing my walls to look awful from running water and my carpets being drenched with water. Maintenance guys are good people and have no problem with them at all it's just the fact that I pay over 500 bucks to be staying in an apartment that constantly needs service.

Review from 12/28/15 on Apartment RatingsDec 2015: Overall nice place, still haven't had my windows or doors fixed Ito the apartment also very upset about having my rental car towed for no decal even though I've only loved here for a week and half and just got in a rearended collision(their fault) and was given a rental and a parking decal was the last thing on my mind after trying to still move in doctors lawyers insurance agents and responsibilities at my job which over costed me another $130 to get the rental back just to have my car done and returned to me the next day with its parking decal but thank you for not even a warning on the car before it was towed. Really sets the mood for moving in here.

I began apartment hunting and this was the only place that actually seemed great for the price. I had seen plenty other places, but nothing was worth the price. Then I found this and I am glad I did. So far, it has completely lived up to my expectations. It has a nice home feeling to it, and that makes me feel comfortable.
