Dec 2018: My Dad and I went on March 21, 2017 around 6:00 in the evening. I wanted to take my Dad to dinner who lives in Fort Collins Colorado (where they have serious breweries). Needless to say, Blackwater Draw was a massive disaster. We were the only table inside and there were a few outside, they were not busy. The majority of the people inside actually worked there and yet the service was still atrocious. We ordered fries for an appetizer and they came out in a few minutes cold. We asked for hot fries and again we got the same cold fries a second time. When I had to ask for napkins, the girl rolled her eyes at me and my Dad never received the beer he ordered. The lady working the bar finally told us after about 30 minutes of waiting that they were out of that beer and never offered him another choice. May 2018: Blackwater Draw makes a good Kolsch, but I had to buy and drink it from another business considering they wouldn't even let us in the door here. We walked up at 6:30 pm on a Friday night and were told they weren't seating any more customers. That's a shame considering we were planning on ordering food and several beers. Review from Google
Apr 2018: Good food, good scenery. I'll admit the service is not bad but it's not super awesome either. I wish server was a little more enthusiastic. Good beer choices for sure. And a few meads which is nice. Were out of stock of the one that I wanted so had to pick another. It's a solid joint for sure but nothing really throwing me over the top. Wish the waiters had a little bit more up scale outfit and looked a little bit more presentable. Will say some good music tho. Its college station... everything is a little overlaxed... They have specials everyday of the week. They have spacious outside patio seets and play grounds for kids. There is accessibility facilities. The staffs are so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is calm as this is a little far from the crowds of bars on Northgate. Review from GoogleMar 2018: Went in during lunch. Taco Tuesday was the special which included shrimp tacos. I will say they were amazing. They come with a side of chips and salsa, it was definitely the best tacos I've had in a while. The staff as always is very attentive and kind, makes you feel at home. I generally love coming to blackwater. The food is amazing the staff is friendly. You can't go wrong! Definitely stop by! Jan 2018: Good beer. Good food. Surprisingly, not as crowded as we thought it would be. Being right next to campus, I suspect this place is usually packed with students. We came during holiday break, so it wasn't too crazy. Plenty of TVs for sports watching. Multiple "family-style" long bars give the place a good flow that could accommodate singles, as well as groups. Table service was prompt and friendly. Great place to grab a beer and a bite before the A&M basketball game! Review from Google
