Hi, Loading...

May 2017: BED BUGS. They attempted to fix the problem twice, but unsuccessful so I was offered out of my lease. Out of date appliances, poorly maintained and no hot water. 10/10 do not recommend. However, XXXX is very cooperative and accommodating, 10/10 thumbs up for management. Review from 5/26/17 on Google
May 2017: Let me just start off by saying the towel racks weren't even done right. I literally put my towel on it and it fell out the wall. The doors do not seal and thus letting in all sorts of bugs and dust. The internet is booty juice. My sink and my neighbors sink literally flooded our apartment the first week. They show you a nice remodeled one. don't buy the pitch. Now I must mention the fact it feels like a prison and the gates are poorly constructed. Does not protect a thing. I'd show you a picture of my screen in my bedroom that's on the wrong side. Review from 5/14/17 on Google
Feb 2017: The place is conveniently close to campus, and the environment isn't too bad. However, any maintenance issue you have will never be tended to and the apartment you get will look nothing like the one actually shown. It's tolerable for the price, because it is a roof with all you utilities included, but I highly recommend anyone interested in moving in to inspect the available unit you would ACTUALLY move into before signing your lease. Review from 2/27/17 on Google
Feb 2017: I lived at College Town and The Link for almost two years now and have had an amazing experience. The staff have always been helpful and kind to me no matter what my concern was. Of course there are always going to be problems with living in an older building, but the maintenance has always been on top of it. I would definitely recommend this place to college kids looking for an affordable place to live. Review fro 2/24/17 on Google
Jan 2017: I am not a ASU student, although I have lived at College Town Tempe in 2015. I moved out because I moved home to Seattle, but I am moving back to Tempe and I will be moving back into College Town Tempe again. I absolutely love College Town Tempe's apartments and staff. The apartments are right on the light rail line, so it's very convenient. there is a pool and a barbecue area, that is always kept clean and neat by maintenance supervisor Jose and his crew. If you have a maintenance emergency, they show up immediately. Staff has always been great and I have never had an issue. Let me address bugs....You live in AZ, there is going to be some bugs. Review from 1/4/17 on Google
Apr 2016: Pros: 1. Good location 2. Good price, and all utilities included in monthly rent 3. Good office management and facilities management Cons: 1. Rooms and bathrooms are old 2. Bedbugs nest in the walls, floors and ceilings. Had to throw away lots of furniture 3. Some residents are drug users/dealers 4. Bikes will be stolen from bike racks 5. Apartment can be burgled at around 6 AM if your door is unlocked and if you are drunk/passed out in the bedroom Review from 4/2/16 on Google
Mar 2016: Make sure you know who your roommate is! Make sure you guys are compatible! Seriously! I'm a 21 year old female with a cat and they ended up sticking me in a apartment with someone almost 15 years older then me with a dog! Horrible situation! Other then that with the right roommate it's a pretty good deal. Big open living rooms and bedrooms, location is great. Mostly friendly staff. I haven't seen many roaches or bugs at all and I moved in in July. I agree the bug problem is probably more of a personal problem. Wifi does suck! It stops working at least once a day. Hot water also sucks! When I say sucks I mean really sucks. It's been shut off 8 times since October it's February now. Review from 3/6/16 on Google
Nov 2015: I'm an incredibly clean person, very meticulous and very diligent and still...it was not enough to keep the cockroaches out. The wifi went down a couple times and when you have homework due at midnight, its incredibly frustrating. The absolute most frustrating thing they did to me was tell me that my lease would be 565$ a month, but on the contract, they put 590 and since I had been told over and over by MULTIPLE people my rent would be 565, I never checked the contract [yeah huge mistake] and signed it when it said 590. I was living in the non master bedroom and my roommate paid less than me. Review from 11/19/15 on Google

Nov 2015: Here it is sweet and simple. These guys are sneaky. I honestly have no complaints about the building it's self. It's pretty well kept and clean. I haven't seen many roaches. I mean it's Arizona, I've seen roaches in even the nicest houses they are sneaky little buggers just like the college town owners. The only real problem I've had was my roommate. (If applying fill out personality quiz) I needed up getting stuck in an apartment with someone almost 25 years older then me. Not only was that supper odd and inappropriate. She had a dog and I had a cat. She let her dog crap in the apartment daily without cleaning it up, she always let her dog destroy my couch and half the apartment walls, and she also didn't pay her pet deposit for the first 3 months so I really hope I don't end up paying for that. Oct 2015: Overall, I have been very pleased with my time spent living here. I have heard and seen many bad things said about College Town but in all honesty, 90-95% of the negative "complaints" are ultimately the fault of the tenant not College Town. Bed bug, cockroaches etc. PEOPLE, if you have bed bugs, they came from your grubby, dirty self. THESE APARTMENTS ARE UNFURNISHED when you move in. You brought them with you or were so dirty and unhygienic that you gave them the most opportune place to live! THAT ONE IS ON YOU! The same goes for cockroaches and other pests. The day that I moved in, I cleaned every inch of my apartment, sprayed and set out a handful of traps in discreet corners of my apartment. Review from 10/11/15 on Google
Apr 2014: Not a good place to live. Definitely lives up to its name. Marijuana and parties all the time. Animals are let into the pool every night and there is crap inside the pool enclosure. If you walk around there is plenty of dog crap along with the smell. There is dried up vomit along with the occasional underwear and plenty of beer cans littered throughout the area. Noise is a huge problem here. Can not wait to move Review from 4-25-2014 on Apartment Ratings
Aug 2013: I have lived at College Town for about 3 years now, and I've never been happy here. They don't turn on the A/C until the outside temperature reaches 100 degrees. Then they turn it off in the "fall" as soon as it drops into the low 90's. They put up fences with locking gates to make the complex more secure, but they have not performed any maintenance on them, so all of the locks are broken. In fact, my girlfriend's bike was stolen a couple months after the fences were installed, because anyone can just walk in whenever they want. Constant problems with roaches, no matter if you keep your apartment spotlessly clean. Review from 8-8-2013 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2013: The apartment pretty much on the campus. All utilities are included plus a TV with direct TV. Theirs Free internet at the pool and all you need is a router in the apartment to get internet. The place has no dishwasher and a crappy small microwave. The bathrooms are pretty bad and the sink head in the bathroom is useless. It comes out like a shower, only faster so to use it you have to have the pressure really low or it will go everywhere. Floors are lament. The staff changes every 8 months and are mostly college students who don't know how to handle situation. They overlooked a package for me during X-mas. When I went back in June to get a package they handed be a package the was from December. Review from 7-26-2013 on Apartment Ratings
