Sep 2019: There are quite a few positives about Deane Hill Apartments:
1.) Location is great
2.) The staff is very responsive to needs
3.) Maintenance is fairly good at being prompt
4.) Ample amount of parking
5.) I was skeptical about only having WOW! internet available (the property has since put in Comcast too), but WOW! has been a great company
6.) The pest control is nice and they complete it regularly Review from Google
Aug 2019: I have been here about 5 months and really do love it. I'm in a very spacious 2 bed/2 bath. The complex is quiet, yet has a great location near so many things. I love how leafy it is and I see birds and rabbits running around when I walk my dog. They are very responsive to maintenance requests, and have even helped me out with a few things that weren't their responsibility, which as a woman living on my own I REALLY appreciated. They are so dog friendly here and are wonderful with my pup. I really have enjoyed living here. It's a really great balance of nice on the inside- with LOTS of space, for a very reasonable price. I feel very safe here too!
They have a flexible deposit policy based on your credit which was a huge relief for me, as start up moving costs can be so high! Vanessa and Brittany in the leasing office are very helpful and pleasant to work with. Knoxville – close to everything. We had a newly remolded unit (townhome) with new hardwood floors, countertops, kitchen appliances, and carpet. It was not often that we needed anything but the management (Vanessa and Brittany) were awesome and helped us quickly. They often went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. We went to the pool all the time in the summer and loved having the tennis courts and work out facility close. Our kids had quite a few friends who lived at Deane Hill too, and we also enjoyed the Elementary school they attended. Review from Google
Mar 2019: Mold, cockroaches, smoke, drugs, crazy-loud neighbors who bang out your lights, creepy stalkers, fleas, bad staff, no security, vandalism: someone keyed my mom's car, wrote sharpie all over the back windshield, dented her car with a rock, etc. My fathers truck was keyed badly along the whole side of it, my brothers car had a huge star keyed deeply on the front of the hood. This all happened at the apartment complex. So if you are looking to save money by living in a cheap apartment know that you might actually loose tens of thousands of dollars in damages. There are no security cameras or police to prove who did it, staff doesn't care, and nobody is going to compensate for your losses. It happened to three cars in my family in a few months! What makes you think it won't happen to you? Feb 2019: My other comment seem to be changed to three stars which is a lie, so I am coming on another account. One word: VANDALISM. Another word: THIEVES. One sentence: Staff does not care and pretends that it doesn’t happen, although it happened to us on multiple occasions and other people. Not to mention the crazy witch that lived above us and smashed the lights out every night, when I was trying to do my work. Have fun! Review from Google
Feb 2019: We've been renting this apartment for a little over 2 years now, and I really like it here. The rent is very reasonable especially for the amount of space that you get, and our apartment feels very roomy. Maintenance is very knowledgeable, and if we have any issues they get it fixed. We haven't had many issues with bugs, but when we do they send pest control to get on top of it. I walk my dog around this big apartment complex a couple times a day. It's a great place to have a pet. We stop by the leasing office to say hi to Vanessa and Brittany, and they shower my Gertie-dog with lots of attention and treats. Sometimes they have parties by the office where you can meet the neighbors and get a snack. The location is great too, lots of shopping, restaurants, and quick access to the interstate. Literally while we are signing the lease the big woman told us the place doesn't service comcast or at&t only wow service, which wow sucks. Next the top floor air vents in the townhome suck so prepare to suffer during the summer. You can also hear your neighbors very well in your bathroom or downstairs area so if you're a loud person you'll get complaints. The fitness center rather small and the pools were never clean enough to use unless you don't mind swimming with roaches. Now if you made it this far I saved the best for last. DO NOT move here if you fear BUGS,SMALL RODENTS,and SNAKES. I have a picture of the biggest snake I saw on their property(i saw more than one)!!!!

Most importantly, the management is terrible. The people sitting at the front desk are not helpful at all, apparently they are arrogant and no manners to talk to their tenants. During the process of looking for residency in Knoxville I visited several communities and by far Wellsley Park was the most affordable, conveniently located, accommadating, well managed and has the friendlest staff. My experience to date has been a very warm and inviting welcome by everyone. My apartment is spacious, clean, freshly painted and furnished with new and up to date appliances. The complex is very pet friendly which is a must for me and my best friend Johnny. The grounds are very well kept and the amenities are plentiful and offer easy access. The fact that the complex is gated was also a contributing factor in my decision. I am very pleased with my decision to make Wellsley Park at Deane Hill my new home. Oct 2017: It is currently 5am. I am a visitor and my car is booted. No signs anywhere near. Only one is when entering, partially blocked by a tree. This place is garbage. Lived there two years you would think they would replace the carpet, but they decided they would charge us our full deposit to clean 2 small spots ($200) for two tiny spots in the carpet.
