Hi, Loading...

May 2019: Worst place to live. Its ridden with bedbugs and landlords who have cleverly written themselves out of any liability to correct the problem. wouldn't recommend to anyone. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Not everyone in campus edge is ghetto, its a mixure of blk, white, elderly and young but its affortable. But the thing that annoys me is the manager and staff, you complain about something, they take their time to fix , the spanish lady breda is soooo unprofessional, campus edge could be nice if they fire all the staff, do a criminal back ground check, hire actual maintenance people not people straight from the drug rehab, acturally care about ur tenants who pay rent on time
Jan 2019: Rented here when they first opened. Was good to live there. Nice pool too Review from Google
Dec 2018: Great apartments on a budget .. Safe, efficient , the studios are the best ..won't find better priced in the city!! African Americans and Latinos will feel at home here around your own kind.. Review from Google
Nov 2018: The best part about living here is the cost. Everything else is an issue. I have never lived with roaches. I moved here and the office staff told me how nice my apartment was going to be. I asked them to call me for a renovated apartment and they called me in for an older apartment infested with roaches. I've had roaches crawl in my bed. I've had them fall on me in the shower. I've had them in my clothes in the closet. They crawl around in my microwave. Floating around in my kittens water. In my drawers, shoes and DRINKING GLASS! They even been on my tissue as I'm using the bathroom and about to wipe! AND I CLEAN EVERYDAY! I'm embarrassed for company to come over because I don't want roaches to crawl on them. I can not take it anymore! I've complained too many times and still no positive results! They sent a terminator twice. Still roaches! I Review from Google
Aug 2018: very dirty and nasty there are folks living there who drink alcohol openly and several motorbikes have been stolen and the staff this place does not care. During the winter several person to live there had no heat and was given a heater and told that the owner of the unit needed time to get his finances together. Therefore they just had to deal with being cold. A bad place bad bad bad. Do not ever go there to rent. Also have roaches and this is a health hazard. Review from Google
Aug 2018: Worst mistake of my life. I was planning on moving there but not anymore. I paid the security deposit and when I told them that I was not going to move there anymore, Mrs. Brenda told me that I was NOT going to get the security deposit of $500. I am pretty upset because she told me it was refundable even if I decided (later on) not to live there. They should be clear on what they say. I made a refundable Security Deposit, not a holding deposit. Review from Google
Jun 2018: I would never recommend anyone stay at Campus Edge. They have a serious bedbug problem that will eventually become your problem. I have never had an issue with bedbugs before I moved in, and I even came with a brand-new mattress. I literally took the plastic off it inside my apartment there. About 8 months into my lease, after I saw my neighbor’s room was being treated, they found their way into my apartment. I called the front office to address the issue and they told me “you can’t prove they came from us, you have to take care of it on your own.” So I did. I went to Lowes Home Improvement, found some bedbug spray and some cans to bomb the place and the problem was fixed. I even lived there for another 4 months bedbug free. After moving out, it took 2 months to get my security deposit back to find out that they kept $450 for a “bedb Review from Google

Apr 2018: Great place to live if you like bedbugs, other people's trash in front of your door, and constant yelling at 2 in the morning. Also, "shared kitchen" might as well mean "shared bedroom." You can hear a mouse farting in the room next door, so if your neighbor is loud you will undoubtedly hear it. Bedbugs needs mentioning again, because bedbugs. don't live here unless you don't care about yourself. Review from Google
Feb 2018: Good people here but also a number of drug dealers. Please be safe Review from Google
Feb 2018: I appreciate the rapid response by Campus Edge Apartments maintenance. My disabled son has lived there for three years. The first year and a half was a nightmare. My son lived in an apartment which was managed by a real estate company. The real estate attempted to get multiple problems fixed. When the dying a.c. died I had to pay for it to get fixed. The heat had failed the year before - I had to buy space heaters. The refrigerator leaked. I complained and had our name placed on a list which was managed by Campus Edge. Because I complained our lease was not renewed - thank heavens! I was able to get in a nicer apartment and it has been wonderful.I have had 2 minor problems and the management (Bobby) sent someone within 30 minutes of problems. don't RENT UNLESS THE OWNER ALLOWS CAMPUS EDGE MANAGEMENT take care of repairs. The slum landlords Review from Google
Dec 2017: Kind of worn down. Very little rooms. Shared kitchen. Limited parking and towing strictly enforced Review from Google
Oct 2017: My girlfriend and I started our one year lease on December 23rd and didn't even last 7 months. We decided to terminate our lease when we noticed numerous drug deals all around the area and a couple different situations where somebody has gotten shot right outside our apartment. Not only that but they shorted us on our security deposit for anything they could. Before our last day we had to get out I made sure that the apartment was in pristine condition as far as filling all the holes, cleaning the carpet everyday ( no exaderation). They charged us $70 to replace the 13 low economy blind slats that I looked up right after we received our security deposit and they are $1.50 each. Moral of the story if you're looking for a good place to stay campus edge is not the place. A lot of crime and they jip you out of your money on anything they can. I wo Review from Google
Oct 2017: I only gave this place 1 star because you can’t give it zero stars. Where do I even begin on the worst experience of my life. When I first moved in the neighbors I shared a kitchen with came knocking on the door asking for money and cigarettes then everything went completely downhill. They would always ask for rides to go get heroin or to take them to the food bank. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS CONPLEX it’s garbage and everyone who lives there. There’s drugs and drug deals all hours of the night, police and ems every single day. This place needs to be shut down. Dustin Robertson and Rebecca Clemins who were the neighbors ended up breaking into my apartment on SERVERAL occasions and I was finally able to press charges but as always junkies get off with nothing. When my lease was FINALLY over they broke into my apartment once again as I was movin Review from Google
Sep 2017: Be careful where to park when you are visiting. Make sure it says "visitor" where you park because you might not see it that good at night. They will tow your car that quick! Review from Google
May 2017: If all you're looking for is a roof over your head for cheap, this is your place. Anything besides that, this place falls short of. Management does not give a damn about you, none of your maintenance complaints will be filled, everything about this place is filthy, neighbors are shady and crazy because they don't do background checks, there are always drugs deals going down, your apartment will flood and they won't cover damage but ask YOU to pay for it, it's littered with bugs no matter how much you clean, and you'll never get your deposit back. Review from 5/12/17 on Google
Apr 2016: Worst apartment I've ever lived in. They need to level this place and build new apartments. Junkies, drug overdoses, prostitutes, homeless in the parking lots, cockroaches and bedbugs. The neighbors get drunk and too loud. Once I asked them to keep it down and the next thing I know one of the guys is trying to get in a fight with me. The "employees" don't give a damn when you make any type of complaint. As soon as my lease ends I'm out of here! Review from 4/22/16 on Google
Apr 2016: These apartments have bugs! They get you to move in sign a paper that if you get bugs you are responsible for paying hundreds of dollars for an exterminator, meanwhile all the apartments are infested with bedbugs and you move in not knowing and everything you own is ruined and and if you can't afford an exterminator your screwed. Do not move in here! You are better on the streets! I give it 0 stars! I had to give it at least one just do it would let me post this review, but apparently there is no option for 0 stars. Jul 2015: don't Walk... RUN!!! I've lived here for some time now and can honestly report that this place is a total dump! All the stuff you'll read on here about drug dealers, pill-heads, drunks, prostitutes and sketchy people calling this place home AND YES even the management office as well are totally true! Known criminals live out here in abundance! They say that they run background checks but it doesn't seem to stop them from renting to sex offenders, drug dealers, and troubled individuals fresh out of jail or prison. Homeless people are always hanging around and a few weeks ago one of them got stabbed on the grounds! Review from 7/28/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Jun 2015: DO NOT MOVE HERE! I moved here as a college student thinking it was a steal being close to school, work and other attractions. Boy, was I wrong! MOLD is everywhere the windows, walls, ceiling and even on the air conditioning unit. The pool is disgusting a lot of druggies and drunks reside and hang out here. Neighbors are nosey and will call the police even if you come home in the middle of the night they will complain about a disturbance. Maintenance will take forever to look at problems and charge WAAAAYYY too much to fix these problems. My lease isn't up and I moved already its a disaster save yourself the trouble, time and money. RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE you will appreciate this review I PROMISE! Review from 6/7/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Dec 2014: DO NOT MOVE HERE! If you're a normal college student, Campus Edge is not for you. I moved here thinking it would be great to be so close to school and the price was great. I now understand why. My neighbor is a gang member and constantly knocks on my door begging for change. There is a serious bedbug and roach infestation which makes it very difficult to sleep. I waited a few days before moving in so management could "spruce the place up" and when I finally got in it was filthy. There are some serious health risks here and I am currently in the process of canceling my lease. Please, save yourself the headache. Review from 12/24/14 on Apartment Ratings
Dec 2014: Alright here's my review, Iv been living here for nearly a year now....Little understanding there is 2 different companies renting out here Wilmingtons best rentals and Campus edge Condominium's...I'm renting through Wilmingtons best (That bobby most talk about is through Campus edge condos)I'm a 20 year old dude who goes to UNCW, When i first moved out here on the disclaimer says "We pair up with matching individuals" ...Thats a lie (The dude next to me was a 40 year old meth Who was coming off of drugs,But he dident bother anyone)I asked him about the stuff that i read on the reviews before i came here, (guy had lived here for nearly 4 years) Review from 12/05/14 on Apartment Ratings
