Apr 2019: Seen 2 Roaches. Super super thin walls and floors, you can literally hear your neighbors conversations, what shows they watch, and their footsteps. Management is slow to fix things. Sometimes they might claim they didn't receive your rent check when you definitely dropped it in their Dropbox. Review from Google
Aug 2018: I moved in back in 2016 and a lot of positive changes have happened since. There weren't a lot of consistent people in the office for a good while after I moved in, but now there are really great people who are working in there. As a young woman who lives alone, it has been perfect living here. It's quiet, affordable, and convenient to pretty much everything. The only regret I have is that I didn't move into a unit where I could have my own washer/dryer. It's also pretty fantastic that I have a gas stove/oven. I really enjoy the built in desk/drawers and the built in shelves in the closet. The only reason I'll be moving out is because I plan to leave the state. These apartments are obviously a little dated, but they're cozy. I moved in without ever seeing the place so, all things considered, it has been a nice experience. Review from Google
Aug 2018: Safe and quiet place, everything near to walk distance. Excellent service. Highly recommend it. Review from Google
Aug 2018: The community here is great and so is everyone that works here! Review from Google
Jun 2018: Affordability in Chapel Hill! The grounds are beautiful, with actual trees, instead of high-rise, "luxury" apartments. You can walk in the neighborhoods and take the free Chapel Hill buses. Review from Google
Mar 2018: We have been living here for 3 years. Apartments are not brand new, but they are very spacious and when you have a 5 y.o. like us that is something good. Besides, having a stove gas and a window in our kitchen are old-apartment features that we enjoy very very much. Staff is friendly and efficient, the pool is precious, neighbors are mostly nice, lots of areas with trees and grills. And being in walking distance from Trader Joes, Food Lion and Harris Teeter makes our life so easy. So, do not expect luxury, rather the benefits of a very practical place for a decent price. Review from Google
Sep 2017: ZERO SATRS. This place is horrible! The pipes in the courtyard have burst leaving us without water for over a week (IN THE SUMMER), and not just once! I had to take a 5gal bucket of water from the pool to flush my toilet and that was not easy. When I moved into my 2br there was gum stuck to the underneath of the bar ledge, disgusting. I know of a few units that had to be evacuated due to BLACK MOLD. My neighbors unit had bed bugs and after they moved out and matienance started renovating the bugs traveled to my apartment and they tried to blame it on me for getting a couch from the thrift store, but i made them go look in the other unit and low and behold it was INFESTED (im highly allergic to the bites, so i knew it wasnt from the couch). Not to mention when a septic tank blew (between buildings F and G) and literally poop and toilet paper w Review from Google
Jul 2017: While living there, it was calm and quiet. I never saw bugs and had no concern for safety due to the mellow tone there. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a change. Review from Google

Jun 2017: This place is awesome! I don't know why everyone wrote a bad review. Ty'Rica in the leasing office is THE BEST! She is professional, attentive, accommodating, communicative, helpful, and most importantly, so incredibly nice. The list goes on and on. My boyfriend and I moved in here about a month ago and we are thrilled. Great location - 5 minute walk to Trader Joe's, Chopt, Starbucks, Brueger's, The Loop, Steinmart, and TCBY. Couldn't be happy. The ladies in the leasing office are also amazing!!! Thank you, Ty'Rica for accommodating our specific needs and making our apartment life easy, affordable, and simplistic! Y'all rock Review from Google
Mar 2016: I have lived here since July of 2015 and have personally enjoyed my stay here. The only complaints I have are that maintenance/cleaning left keys and a lot of items on the kitchen counter prior to my move in and once after having a ceiling fan replaced. The apartment is older, but I've had very little need fixing and maintenance has responded within 24-48 hours when called upon. I feel safe in my unit and have not had any break-ins, but there was a domestic violence dispute above me shortly after moving in and I can smell weed at night when I take the trash and recycling out. For the price, I think the few negatives are outweighed by the quietness and location of the units. Review from Google
Mar 2016: Do not move here, especially if you have kids. I was hoping I could put half a star. I lived here for a year and was pretty turned off after a few weeks in. I've been in Chapel Hill for twenty years so I know the whole town well and know what to expect. Let's say this is probably the black hole of CH. The floors sagged; my bedroom smelled of smoke (I'm a non-smoker) EVERY DAY and when I called maintenance they said "well, there's not really much you can do about smells." In the winter I could feel freezing air blow in around the seams of the front door, my boyfriend's car was broken into twice, weirdos roamed the neighborhood at night, oftentimes with joint in hand, and there were roaches and millipedes. Mar 2016: I will agree that these buildings are older but I think that they are in great shape and have been maintained well by The Park. I am a graduate student and this community is quiet which is really what I want when I'm home. The size of the apartments is perfect for just me. The leasing office staff has actually gotten better over the two years I've lived here and are very responsive, especially via email which is quite important to me. Maintenance has always responded quickly to my requests, even when they are not an 'emergency'. I've seen comments about bugs, but I've not had any real problems with insects since I've moved in (2014). Review from Google
Oct 2015: My husband and I moved here in mid August 2015. When we visited, the apartments seemed okay. Of course, we knew that they were older apartments, but, the unit we reside in is absolutely disgusting. When we arrived to move our belongings in, the apartment had dead roaches, roach droppings, and roach catchers in the cabinets. There were live roaches as well. The apartment smelled of fresh paint. After speaking with our neighbors, the previous tenant had JUST moved out before our arrival, I'm talking a few days. Here we are mid October. My husband and I noticed mice drippings on the countertops. Review from 10/19/15 on Apartment Ratings
Sep 2015: PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE! When you think of moving from West Raleigh to Chapel Hill you think you are moving into a safer community, essentially a better environment right? WRONG!!! All I wanted was to give my family a better place to live, please learn from my mistake and move anywhere but here! We've only been here since October 2014 and it has been one nightmare after the other. We have had our vehicles broken into (June 2015) and our motorcycle stolen (April 2015) from the parking lot! When we informed the office nothing could be done due to lack of security cameras and overall security. Review from 9/2/15 on Apartment Ratings
May 2015: I would not recommend this apartment. The rent is raised 70.00- 100.00 a year with no changes. The staff is rude and refuses to help. They charge a 75.00 fee a month if you don't give them insurance papers even if you have proof you paid. The dog policy is not enforced. There a re pit bulls and other large dogs living on this property. If you don't mind noise, rude people, and rent hicks this apartment is for you. Stay Away. Review from 5/10/15 on Apartment Ratings
Dec 2014: I moved here in May of 2013 and it's been great. All maintenance requests have been handled within 24 hours, the grounds are kept in amazing condition, the apartments are huge, I have an amazing jacuzzi tub. They have gotten a new set of management and employees since I've gotten here and I've had nothing but safety and comfort. My only issue since being here is my neighbor below me playing loud music but that was addressed and is no longer an issue. You should move here! Best prices for the area.
