Sep 2019: As a long time renter my experience at the bridges was one of the worst EVER. Firstly the office staff was apathetic and poorly trained. They have a high turnover rate and with every new community assistant came a notice on my door that i somehow owed them money! The carpet and chalky paint were bargain basement cheap, not to mention ugly, and the quality of the space is not commensurate with the price. Most importantly was the inexplicable cases of vandalism that occurred in my apartment while at work during the day, even though i had an alarm system! I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Review from Google
May 2019: rude staff. threatens to call the police for smoking a cigarette next to office. totally unnecessary. Loud tennis courts and basketball courts directly next to apts where people play from early morning till night. Review from Google

Sep 2018: I absolutely loved living here! The location is amazing and we only had to put in one service request the whole time we lived there. Everyone is friendly and it is a safe, quiet and peaceful area. I would definitely live here again. Review from Google
Nov 2016: I am changing my review of the Bridges. Since the new management has taken over, I have been blown away by the customer service in the leasing office. I struggle to pick up packages because of my work schedule, and because the mailman was late and couldn't leave my package in the community drop box, the leasing manager hand delivered my package in a weather protected bag with a hand written note to my door step. Never in my life have I been so amazed by an apartment, for this and many other things. Review from Google
Jul 2016: The staff is amazing when you're considering Bridges and when you first move in, but my experience soon turned south. There are bugs EVERYWHERE, there is no hot water, the staff is extremely rude, my neighbors are incredibly loud and the staff won't do anything about it, they take forever to actually fix things (My dish washer fell out of its spot and it took me SIX requests to get it fixed-it was never attached when they brought it in). They have increased their rent, the complex up the street is $150.00 cheaper and 300 square feet larger. I really wouldn't suggest living here, it's not worth it. Jun 2015: I absolutely adore my apartment and the staff at Bridges! This is by far the best experience I have had with an apartment so far in Chapel Hill. Thank you guys for everything! Review from 6/6/15 on Apartment Ratings
May 2015: I lived here for one year and had a mixed experience. I liked the neighborhood and the safety of the area was good. Only the J bus came right outside so if that suited you- good. I liked having the laundry unit in house. Cons: 1)Bugs, bugs, bugs - There were quite a few and i could never figure out where they came from. You could request pest control which did happen promptly. But they would be back again. Mid year i started requesting pest control biweekly to try and have a week pest free. 2) Trash- had to be thrown outside at one place for the whole community. I found this hard and kept putting it off till i gathered a few bags. Review from 5/6/15 on Apartment Ratings

Mar 2015: Super happy with my decision to live here. I've lived throughout Chapel Hill and I have never felt safer. The community is great, clean and friendly. I have lived in multiple apartments, but never met my neighbors or known the people working for the community. Once I moved here I found people were friendly and always say hello. The office and maintenance staff are friendly as well and always remember my name. This place just has an overall good feel and I am glad I chose it. Very happy with my apartment. :-) Review from 3/11/15 on Apartment Ratings
Sep 2014: The Bridges has the best management of any of the 3 apartments I've lived in since I moved to North Carolina 12 years ago. Recently, I had a somewhat complicated situation that the Property Manager Lauren handled immediately and in great detail. Every time I have had a maintenance request, it has been handled the same day or the next day, or on the day I choose. Before I moved in, the staff repainted, laid down new carpet and replaced fixtures. Everything is in good working order, and the in-apartment washer and dryer has been a real time-saver. Lisa let me know when to arrange installations and deliveries so I didn't have to miss more work during the move. They have the fiber optic cables for AT&T U-Verse, so I was able to install much better Internet service than I had before. Review from 9/04/14 on Apartment Ratings
Jun 2014: Not a good place to be - glad to be moved away. 1. The appliances and counter tops are frightening! The counter tops were "sprayed on" and crack/chip the minute one moves in. 2. The utility bill was enough to stop one's heart - the water bill for about $125 a month on top of the monthly "service fee" for a 950 square foot apartment? What's wrong with this picture? 3. The plus side was the maintenance people - they are polite and helpful and try to answer any questions. 4. The office staff are initially friendly but don't ask too many questions after you move in or you get answers that make no sense. They make it clear they are not really interested in helping you with any subsequent concerns or issues. Review from 6/23/14 on Apartment Ratings
Mar 2014: I have lived in this complex twice. First in 2009 and now. It's about the same as far as appearance not too much different. Quality in management is great. Every time I fill out a maintenance request its done immediately. The take packages and I wish they were still open on sundays but...I have living in places where mangagment is awful but they have been really helpful with everything. Dishwasher broke and they replaced it immediately. comes with full washer and dryer that's a decent size. I am thinking of moving closer to work but there's a bus line to town and it's great for young people. I would recommend. Review from Google
Jul 2013: This complex is all about getting you to sign a lease, and then ignoring you once you've moved in. They're repainting the outside so it looks nicer, which it does, but they couldn't care less about their tenants. I had to move everything on my balcony, including all patio furniture, into my living room (of a one bedroom apartment) for over two weeks. The rent is 850 for a one bedroom (special to get you in is better, but once you're there, they jack it up). It doesn't matter if you've been a good tenant for 5 years - they actually seem to want to lure in new tenants more than they want to keep the old tenants. The maintenance guys are nice and effective, but the admin staff is terrible, and it's all about the bottom line - how much can they charge you, and how much will they increase it in a year because they know you don't want to move a Review from Google
