May 2018: Owner and resident here - Bolinwood Condos are a nice place to live, well-maintained and set in the woods, quiet and comfortable. Units are rarely available for sale and when listed tend to sell within weeks because it's hard to find a better bargain in Chapel Hill. I'm happy here. Review from Google

The property manager is nice in the beginning while collecting fees... but rude and dismissive soon after.
They regulate your guest...
The apartments are not renovated with very old outdated kitchen and baths. (it's like walking on set to the Family Ties sitcom)
There are pest. Roaches and gnats
I've been here 5 months and have had the cooling system repaired 3 times. (Repairs are handled quickly)
can't wait for my lease to be up. For the price... it's a rip off. But again... location.

The residents usually consist of annual students, or graduate students. However, it has become more family oriented, children have been taking residence which adds a closer sense of community. Management and maintenance are like family! A great place to live!
