Jul 2019: It’s a super fun ward and social scene! But unfortunately, there are way more guys than girls Review from Google
Feb 2019: I lived there in the summer and the people there are great, but the management is iffy at best. don't expect to get much of your deposit back because they will find ways to take it away from tiny cleaning check stuff. The parking here is the best in Provo though and the location is good. Move here if you want to have fun, but aren't particularly attached to your deposit money. Review from Google
Nov 2018: This was my main home when I lived in Utah. If you like a being very social with your roomates and neighbors then this is the place for you. Everyone likes to sit outside in their yard during sunny days in the complex and everyone is very friendly. In walking distance from the village so you can get sodalicious as well as a little longer walk to chip cookie and other places in town. If your really ambitious you could hike all the way up to the Y from here. OH! and the BYU creamery is not far! That's important! Review from Google
Aug 2018: I loved living here! It's super social! And management always communicated well with me! Review from Google
Aug 2018: The apartments are fine, but certainly not the highest quality. For the price and convenience though, it's really a great place to live for BYU or UVU students. Management was always quick to respond to issues and easy to work with. Definitely worth a try for a semester or two. Review from Google
Jun 2018: Definitely my favorite place I've lived in Provo. Super chill and friendly crowd. Review from Google
May 2018: 5 stars for the great management. While most other apartment complexes in Provo try and find every way to keep your deposit, the colony gave me back almost my full deposit (they took out five dollars because of a late fee...which is reasonable). This is just one example of how The Colony treats students fairly. It's definitely a different experience from the one I had at Liberty Square the previous year. There's also a great social atmosphere. I would totally recommend living here. Review from Google
May 2018: Everyone has a little front yard which makes it a very social apartment complex. And there's a pool and hot tub which is always nice! I loved it here. Especially over Spring/Summer! Con: The apartments themselves are pretty old like most Provo apartments. Pros: Front yard, social atmosphere, short stairway to divide apartment living areas, pool/hot tub area. Review from Google

Apr 2018: First and foremost, let me establish one thing. I am the longest living resident The Colony has ever had. At least, that's what management told me when I moved out. So, I promise you, I know the good, the bad and the ugly of this place. I won't say I'm the most qualified person to be reviewing this complex, but I think I come pretty close. Yes, the apartments are old. This is not luxury housing. If that's what you're looking for, go to The Village or College Place. The Colony was built in 1963, so they're over 50 years old. That does lend itself to drafty windows and squeaky floors. That being said, every single summer, the owners of The Colony do a maintenance project to update or better the apartments. One year, it was putting light fixtures in the living room (before that all we had were lamps). Another year, they installed new fridges and Review from Google
Apr 2018: I came here after living in a place that was managed by Aspen Ridge and holy cow the contrast is big. The office is very personable and the apartments are kept up well. They have onsite maintenance that are fast to act when you request something. Well done Colony Apartments! Review from Google
Mar 2018: I applied to live at the colony over a month ago with the impression that I would be hearing back from them in 1-2 weeks. Three weeks later, I called in to hear that the application would take another 1-2 weeks to process and that I had a very good chance of being accepted due to nature of the small party I was in (2 people). Three weeks after that, I called in again, to hear that my application was rejected. I asked, and this was decided over a week ago, but nobody at the Colony bothered to inform me. Anybody living as a student in Provo can tell you how difficult it is to find decent housing halfway through March. I am utterly astounded by the lack of professionalism and absolute disregard for students demonstrated to me by the Colony. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Management is kind but disorganized and unprofessional. It took them almost two months after we applied for them to get back to us and let us know there were no open spots for us. Review from Google
Nov 2017: The was my favorite place I lived all 4 years of college. They're not the nicest apartments in the world, but the setup is such that it fosters an extremely social environment. I lived in both wards over my 2 years here and had a great experience each time. Review from 11/13/17 on Google
Aug 2017: Best place I've lived so far in Provo! The people who put negative reviews here are ridiculous! Great people, best management I've ever had, and a great ward! There is a reason the colony is hard to get into because it's so good! It's also a little bit older of age but not too much so it's good for upper class men. Review from 8/20/17 on Google
Jul 2017: I really enjoyed living there the past year. The ward is AMAZING and it is super fun how everyone stays outside to hang out. It's like a mini private road so you can hang out and not worry if you want to throw a ball in the street. The apartments are nice. Review from 7/3/17 on Google
Mar 2017: Spent a summer here. I loved it. Favorite part was that each apartment has a little lawn in the front. Review from Google
Sep 2016: I am not one to go out of my way to write a negative review and this isnt to warn anyone about not going here. Rent is cheap - and honestly.... you're not going to get a NICE apartment with cheap rent in Provo. So don't expect anything modern/nice/new. However, I was really disappointed in Management's communication. They took forever to respond to emails. And then there was some damage charges I had to pay and I have been trying to get information from them for the past FOUR months and finally received a letter today with my bill/deposit that said "We have been trying to call you but your number says its disconnected." I was frustrated - they could have emailed.. written me a letter... and no one has had issues with my phone number. Anwyays, it's a cool place to live. But management needs to know that this was unprofessional. Review from Google
