My only complaints would be they we don't have a washer and dryer in the units and it's all done in a laundry room you have to pay to use (it adds up to an additional 30-40/month for us and we don't do that much laundry) and the parking permits are more than other places charge especially for uncovered/unreserved parking, but ill gladly pay a little more for those to know that we will be taken care of when something happens. Oct 2019: This place was awesome. I am currently living in California and am moving to Utah for work. I was looking for some apartments and these drew my attention. I was visiting and I went to view the apartments. The girl that helped me was named Jewelette and she was the sweetest most precious thing! She helped me with all the questions I had and was very welcoming and so bright. She had a smile the whole time and she is definitely making me consider these apartments. Aug 2019: Moved In not too long ago but already love this place! The management is super nice and made it way easy to move in. It’s pretty cheap and is updated super well. Only problem is the doors. Front door works and all it just looks like someone could kick it down easy and looks a little damaged. My door locks but if you yank even the slightest on the door handle it opens. But I have not yet told management so not their fault. And it’s not a huge deal cause I trust the person I live with haha. The management is a huge step up from my last place. Jun 2019: I'm never one to leave reviews, but this has to be said. The main reason I moved to Mountain Run was for cheap rent (995 split four ways) and how close it is to UVU. However, I would much rather drive far and pay a great deal more than live at Mountain Run ever again.
Let's start off by saying I was robbed within the first week living at Mountain Run. The management did absolutely nothing about it. This robbery was in the middle of the night while my roommates and I were sleeping. They took almost everything of value. After this terrifying incident, we began to be harassed by our downstairs neighbors. The walls are so incredibly thin, you can hear any conversation above a normal speaking voice. They continually hit on their ceiling; probably 3-5 times a day. I honestly thought they were going to break through to our floor. Jun 2019: I moved into Mountain Run 6 months ago and it was mostly out of convenience because it’s so close to UVU, however, since I’ve moved in they’ve seriously made so many upgrades. The landscaping looks so good and they always have really cool resident events too. The office manager always remembers my name and invites me in the office for a treat or drink for myself and my dog. My lease is up in August and I’m planning to renew. Jun 2019: Because of the legal risks of complaints against a business I will say only that as a matter of my personal opinion that the only positive thing about this apartment complex is the location next to the school.
However, there are other apartment complexes known to give a better value. Tried to get help from the office and they were no help. Multiple times while I was living here the towing company tried to take our friends cars while they were parked in the visitor parking spots! I understand that they need to prevent UVU students from parking here, but the company was seriously desperate to tow any car they could.When we first moved in it wasn't the cleanest, when the complex removed all the shrubs outside, we had a major spider/ earwig/ bug problem. The bugs would crawl out from under the walls! There was always dog poop out front of the apartments from the residents with dogs. The poop would sit out by our door for months! Jan 2019: My boyfriend has rented here for 7 months. They seem too be desperate for cash as they add on fees and fees and a late fee on the fee u have no clue why u have in the first place. They are very basic 2 bed 1 bath apartments nothing special. No in unit laundry you have too walk too a separate building and pay. No extras like a walk in closet like you might think for $950 a month plus the outrageous fees. I'll let you all know when I get too the bottom of this fee scenario what they come up with. They won't give me any info cause I'm not on the lease. My bf works 12 hour days the office is closed when he leaves and by the time he gets off. I just read some other reviews and learned they expect a 60 day not 30 day notice too move out. Jan 2019: This place was great at first. When it came to moving out they failed to tell us we needed to let them know 60 days ahead that we are not renewing our lease and we are moving out. So we had to pay an extra months rent. When we moved out they charged us for stuff I knew we had cleaned up. So we still "owed" money. They refuse to use the rest of our deposit for the money still owed. In order to know the details you need you have to call them a million times as well to recieve the information you need, they aren't very compliant. We are so please with the above and beyond service we have received from Galen the head maintenance person. He responds to usually in less than an 30 min with any request. We rent several units and maintenance is very important for us. I have had my water shut off twice with out any sort of notice which is EXTREMELY inconvenient. When I went to the office to inform them about there not being a notice they essentially said that I am not telling the truth and that they put notices in every residents door. This is not true because me nor any of my close nieghbors got a notice. Another example of the terrible customer service from the individuals that work here is that they advertise that there’s a year around pool when it hasn’t been open since last summer. It is now June in the desert and it’s still not open. When we asked them about it 1, 2 and 3 weeks ago Leonie in the office said that an inspector has cancelled on them 3 times. May 2018: Management was very nice and helpful, I do not have any complain about them. The problem is the apartments themselves. The pictures are very misguiding. the apartments aver old and not as pretty for that price.
The apartment was very dirty and the carpets were just terrible.
On the other hand, the location is fairly good, compared to live in the west side of the city. Review from GoogleMay 2018: The complex is well kept and the staff are nice. Finding parking at night was often an issue. It wasn't uncommon for me to park on the other side of the complex and walk back to the apartment. This is an issue I have noticed with many other apartment complexes in ABQ. Other than that, the units were well kept, have modern appliances (at least in the unit I was in) and the location is unbeatable! When we moved in, everything was great the company managing the property changed shortly before we left however, and that's where things went WAY south.
My residency ended on July 1 but knowing how moving goes we knew it would be hard to be out by that date. We pro-rated our rent for the Month of July and also we're promised a $300 credit due to referral of a new tenant. We paid July's bills, moved out of state, and never heard from them again. We let it go when we did not hear about the security deposit as we have a dog and figured the pet cleaning etc was probably used in the deposit. Fine.
Today, 9 MONTHS later, we get a call from a collections agency stating that we owed over $500 for rent and cleaning fees (all of which were paid when we left, checked out, keys handed in, zero Review from GoogleMar 2018: We have been here a month.
