Jan 2018: Bringing in 2018 at San Miguel!! I have lived here two years this month and have loved every minute. So glad I renewed my lease, looking forward to a great 2018 at San Miguel!!! Review from Google
Jan 2018: This eyesore (compactor outside of building 6) and it's always-opened 10 foot metal gates swing open and closed all night, crashing into the curb and compactor...wakes me up every 5-10 minutes. Every couple of days I witness other tenants trying to fix it themselves and have tried myself as well. can't have my windows open during some hours bc it's usually overflowing and smells horrible. Called maintainance and got an answering service. I pay for a place to sleep, which has become impossible with this noise. Review from Google
Jan 2018: I never lived there. I wanted to before I met front office staff. My SO and I weren't dressed to impress considering we had been running errands since 5:30am. no make up and a messy bun apparently translates to us being dirt poor in their eyes. When we walked in we patiently waited for assistance. No problem because from what we saw they were a little busy. When someone did assist us, she sneared with a disturbed look when I stuck my hand out for a shake and proper introduction. She didn't even tell me her name in response. When she reviewed the prices (we can VERY EASILY afford to live there), she presented it in such a way that made it seem like she thought we wouldn't be able to afford it. How rude! Not ONCE did she smile. Her attitude seemed like she was in a rush to get rid of us. In addition, her general appearance was unprofessional. Review from Google
Nov 2017: This was the absolute worst place i ever had rented from. DO NOT rent here. Years ago I as well as my spouse at the time in the middle of renting a house. So we in the mist of putting in our notice to vacate ultimately breaking the lease. Which was fine because i was ready to pay the penalties for doing so. Fast forward the deal with the house never fell through so we withdrew our notice and stayed in the apartment. Two months later they illegally locked us out of our apartment without even giving us any kind of notice under our door. Heartless bastards wouldn't even let my spouse at the time in to get some food for my son who was crying and hungry. The property manager was named April. This racist POS had the nerve to call the policeman who was in the leasing office as i was handing over a $2500 money order to her. Stay as far away from th Review from Google
Nov 2017: It was very unpleasant experience living there , I left it after 2m . It's very unsafe and not secured, the gates always broken, there was 2 brake and entry crime during my short stay. The residents and visitors over occupying the car parking and parks in your reserved/played parking, and when I called to pull the car from my spot , that vandalize my car ( trashy kind of residents). The management did not do anything about that. And they charge me 300$ fee after I left the apartment for cleaning. Advice look for another apartment. Helpful? Review from Google
Sep 2017: It's been really nice here. The staff will listen and fix things that are within there control. I would like to see San Miguel install a playground on property for the kids. Review from Google
Feb 2017: DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! This place is an absolute joke. You are paying to live in a gated community, which at least 85% of the time on my side has the gates open and broken. The walking entrance gate never locks even though it has been brought up with management, they told me it locks. I've been here for 2 years and regret the last year of it deeply. The management ignorantly puts flyers and notices in your door, which would be fine if safety was not an issue here. Review from 2/10/17 on Google
Nov 2016: I leased at San Miguel last year for 812/mo. After random fees such as trash pick up (that never comes) I paid closer to 950. 12 months later, after paying every monthly installment on time, I got a congratulation letter letting me know that if I wanted to stay I would need to pay 942/mo. So my reward for being a reliable tenant was a $140 jump in rent. Nice. Being a struggling college student, putting myself through school by working and serving in the National Guard, I had to move somewhere cheaper than the place I signed up to pay 812, but was paying closer to 1100 after trash pick up fees. I moved out, leaving the overall condition of my unit better than it had been when I moved in. Review from 11/19/16 on Google

Nov 2016: I have lived in these apartments for about 11 months, parking is a problem and I was lucky enough to get a garage when I could, HOWEVER, I had a neighbor park their car in front of my garage door and couldn't leave that morning. I called the office, I the community towing, I called the community police, NOTHING!! I was so frustrated with the situation, I almost broke my lease, but decided the neighbor may have been intoxicated and tried to be understanding of their situation. I stayed, but I also had to constantly pick up trash in my little garden area. Being on the first floor is challenging when you have neighbors flick their cigarette buds and also throw trash over the ledge. Review from 11/6/16 on Google
May 2016: These Apts has so much to offer regardless of your age. I'm older and the important things to me is the timeliness of getting things repaired! From a lightbulb change to fixing my shower curtain ...they always come with a smile and awesome attitude! Just thankful to be here... Review from 5/28/16 on Apartment Ratings
May 2016: I think the San Miguel apartments are an amazing complex. The floor plans are spacious and great for roommates and/or kids. The management team are all very friendly and professional. I don't think you'll be able to find another property that is this nice, spacious, and easily accessible to multiple freeways, for this price. Review from 5/24/16 on Apartment Ratings
May 2016: Parking is a major issue. Very hard to find a spot if you come home late from work. I can only assume the spaces are all being taken by residents, if not then I don't k i.e. Why they're not being towed. Maintenance is fast but they do take a lot of shortcuts in their work so you might have to call them back a few times. Security isn't as bad as some other complexes but I have seen a few car breakins in the last year. There is no security guard on duty. The landscaping is not horrible, but often looks unkept and bushes inconveniently protrude into the sidewalks. Most people in the community are friendly but keep to themselves. It doesn't have a great sense of community. Review from 5/5/16 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2015: Rip offs! First tried to overcharge on the water bill, then charged for replacing entire carpet which was already damaged. Parking is horrible, towed away residents vehicles due to their negligence of not giving parking stickers out accordingly. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Review from 10/6/15 on Google
Sep 2015: I'm currently a resident at San Miguel Apartments. I agree with some of the negative feedback to an extent. For e.g. Parking is definitely a major issue which needs to be resolved as, at times, it can be very painful. Also, the management isn't great, but not pathetic either - on the scale 1 to 10, I would say the management is 6.5. In addition, Valet Trash does get on my nerves when they don't show up on Fridays and Saturdays. However, we are adults and we can not possibly find any reasonable apartment just as good as San Miguel at this low rent rate. Review from 9/26/15 on Google
Jul 2015: I agree with some of the other users. I hated living here. In particular I hated that the fee for trash pick up is mandatory but yet my trash was hardly ever picked up. It was excuse after excuse. The first time it was because the trash bag was not the type of trash bag that had the little plastic ties, second it was because I wasn't putting the trash bag in the trash can bin they provide and then setting it outside and then it was because the bag felt like it was over 15 pounds. Needless to say I had to start throwing my own trash away and still have to pay the fee for the trash pick up. Then it was endless calls from management that neighbors were complaining about a dog barking. Review from 7/1/2015 on Google
May 2015: I honestly have had a negative experience since i signed my lease. My car got broken into about a month ago right in front of my building and the staff reacted so rude about it and barely even seemed to care. No one helped me with anything, and what i found worse was that there was no flyer or memo send out informing everyone my car was broken into so they're aware a thief is on the loose. There never is parking which is a serious issue since only people who live there are allowed to park there.I DO not recommend and i will not be renewing my lease. Review from 5/23/2015 on Google
Feb 2015: Great place to live. The residents and the staff are great. The location is convenient and the environment is peaceful and serene. Check it out and see for yourself! Review from 2/13/2015 on Google
