Hi, Loading...

Jun 2019: I recently moved out of maverick creek on the 31st, and would like to come back but I have been in the office multiple times to try and come back to maverick. The first time I go into office with my issue I am greeted and welcome by everyone behind the counter as I usually am. I then tell them I want to sign a lease with my friends who have signed and want to sign for a different lease with maverick. We were asked to wait as the leasing agents go and ask their high up if it’s okay and we do so pleasantly. Then they go get this really tall guy (which I assume is the manager, I had not seen him in his corner when I first signed my lease) and when he arrives it immediately looks as if he doesn’t want to help me and my friends, it always seems as if it’s a hassle for him. (And every time after the first visit he has the same attitude). And he tells us he doesn’t know and that he has to go and ask someone else to see if they can do it Review from Google

Jun 2019: The leasing mgr doesn’t seem like a mgr. I’m convinced that I was just talking to a random leasing agent & not a mgr. I called last week to speak to a mgr & was asked what it was regarding bc different mgrs handle different things. I was directed to the leasing mgr to ask about living w my friend. He kept telling me he didn’t know the answers to my questions & needed to ask another mgr. I asked to just speak to a different mgr since he obviously didn’t know what he was talking about. He told me I couldn't speak w another mgr bc he is the mgr who is in charge of leasing decisions. Makes no sense bc he didn’t know anything and had to ask someone else. That entire office seems unorganized. They need to fire that leasing mgr bc he isn’t able to help anyone out or answer questions without having to ask another mgr. Review from Google

Jun 2019: I recently toured at maverick creek because my friends recently signed a lease there due to a special They saw on Instagram where maverick creek will drop your rent by $10 if you sign at the same time as your friends and fill an apartment. I looked at the 2 bedroom for me and my friend and loved it! My friends who recently signed leases there were not able to all sign at the same time, but they were all able to sign on the same day so a manager named Rueben approved them to still get the $10 off of rent and guaranteed that they could live together as long as they all signed on the same day!! That’s great news, right? WRONG. So I mentioned to the leasing agent that I was ready to sign my lease right now but my friend who is definitely signing with me would not be in town for a couple of hours. But she could come the same day, around 6. I told the leasing agent what Rueben had done for my friends that recently signed their lease and the leasing agent went to get approval from Rueben for me and my friend to do the same thing Review from Google

Jun 2019: I moved from Maverick yesterday. I leave maverick because I graduate. Would have stayed otherwise. I wish I could give this place more stars, but right now it's only worth 2. Pros: enjoyed staying at maverick overall. Decent apartment and affordable. Close to UTSA. Friendly office staff. Cons: have to share bathroom. No washer and dryer inside apartment. Reason for only 2 stars is the new manager in the front desk Rueben. I can never understand him the first time he says anything because he mumbles and talks low. When I ask him to say it again he acts offended and talks down to me like I'm dumb or he is better than me and has a rude attitude with me. Also never knows anything. What's the point to have a manager in the front desk if he never knows anything and has to ask another manager for help? And he never smiles or greets anyone when they come in, just stares at computer and waits for college students in the front desk to help Review from Google
May 2019: I lived here for about 5 and a half years. I moved out at the beginning of 2018. I can't say I ever had a terrible experience on behalf of staff or management. There was the occasional roach here and there, but never an all out infestation. Mind you, I lived in I think 5 different units during my stay. There was also mild mold build up in the showers, which my roommates and I kind of just lived with. When we notified the office, they said to just leave the bathroom door open so that it wouldn't get worse... That probably seems flippant to some, but given the price of rent and age of the property, things like this were never a huge deal to me. Also, maintenance was always super fast when it came to online requests. I remember getting hit with a late fee, for some sort of charge I wasn't aware of being on my account. I had paid my usual rent fee, and after renewing my lease they had actually increased rent, which I was unaware of Review from Google

May 2019: The 1 one good star I give goes towards the nice apartment itself at a really good price, as well as the maintenance that fixed what we needed pretty quick. The 4 stars taken away or ONLY because of how bad of a german cockroach INFESTATION my apartment had the entire year (in building 8) We had raid sprayed around the kitchen a few times and even some pest control group come with some big machines to try and clear them out but nothing ever seemed to do anything. One night i walked to the fridge in the dark to get a drink and when i opened it and the fridge light shined on the floor, AT LEAST 30 baby roaches (with a couple big ones) all scurrying around the kitchen floor. The next day I check with my roommate and sure enough, a Whole FREAKING NEST is under our fridge! I’ve been paranoid of even walking in the kitchen since. Mind you, cockroaches have been here since we moved in so it’s not because we’re dirty tenants Review from Google

Mar 2019: This apartment complex does not value the safety of there tenants. My roommate was caught stealing from me resulting in me involving the police. Both the police and maverick creek refused to have her room searched for my stolen things when I have evidence of her stealing from me. I don’t feel safe in my apartment anymore and communicated this with the apartment manager whom gave me the only option of paying 450$ to move into another unit. I think it’s extremely ridiculous that would charge me to move to another unit when it is in regards to my safety. Maverick creek does not care mostly likely because they assume since they are dealing with students they don’t have to withhold the same standards that non-student housing upholds. Do not move here if safety is a priority to you. Review from Google
Feb 2019: Renew at this apartment complex because I feel heard whenever there was any issues and also there is effective communication. Rent is affordable and I like the closeness to campus
Feb 2019: This will be my fourth year living here, great rates, and friendly staff. I've never had a problem in my three years living here.
Feb 2019: Made me review in exchange for free rent (maybe). EDIT: Honestly, don't live here. Yeah it is cheap and not very bad at first sight, but stuff is breaking all the time (One time I slammed the front door and half our outlets stopped working). Management is horrible, which sucks since the rest of the staff is great. Maintenance does not fix all the things they say they will (been waiting on a hole on my ceiling to get fixed for a year now). They tried to charge me for having milk crates and coolers out on my patio (MY PATIO) because they were "unsightly", without a warning. When talking to management about these issues, she made up that I was giving her attitude and decided to end the conversation there. Also, they don't correctly clean the rooms when you move in.
Jan 2019: Maverick creek is a great complex with a relaxed vibe. Managed to find a great spot and won’t be leaving till I finish school Review from Google

Jan 2019: It’s my second time renewing at Maverick Creek Villas because I love it here! The staff is really nice, we get nice amenities at a great price! It’s also really close to UTSA and other cool places like La Cantera and Six Flags. I would recommend to every college student to live here. Review from Google
Jan 2019: It has some awesome rates and very friendly and attentive staff. Also there's a lot of raffles and free food every month, so you get your money's worth. definitely recommend it. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Probably the best student housing I’ve ever lived at. They’re always hosting events and attending to their residents. It’s close to the school and you get to meet a lot of people with the amenities provided. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Affordable student living walking distance to UTSA campus. Great space and layout in apartments and rooms, as well as amenities (laundry, courts, gym, pool). I was able to keep my current rate on renewing and fees waived. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Maverick creek is pretty great place; the cheapest price and great living space area. I will recommend it to a friend for sure. Nice and affordable. Review from Google
Oct 2018: I renewed because I was able to keep my current rate and my fees were waived. Maintenance is amazing! The Staff knows what there doing and the front office is always willing to help if you just ask. They are quick to respond and have now become pet friendly!!!! Review from Google
Oct 2018: I decided to renew with maverick creek because it’s affordable, friendly and a convenient place to live while being a student. I haven’t had any little to no trouble with the apartment and the complex staff is friendly and helpful. Glad to be a resident! Review from Google
Oct 2018: I decided to renew my lease because I find the rent fee affordable. So far, the overall environment has been safe, peaceful, and friendly. And most importantly, I prefer to not go through the hassle of moving my belongings to a different apartment all over again, therefore I’m renewing my lease. Review from Google
