Aug 2019: Very nice, simple, comfortable and quite place. Especially for the graduate students. You will have your own space with a very good price. In a walking distance (about 7 - 8 minutes) from the university. The manager Jose is very professional and he is very friendly. Whatever you need to do or upgrade in your apartment, he will make it happen. Love this place Review from Google
Mar 2019: The Manager Jose makes it a good place to live, though the apartment is very old. Close to campus, Quite and Just the basics. Review from Google
Sep 2018: Nice place, excellently maintained. Friendly and efficient manager. A good place for living. Review from Google
Nov 2016: I lived at Campus Side for a year while attending UTSA. I absolutely loved it! The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment Manager Jose is extremely attentive and helpful. This was my first apartment and it was a great experience. It's in close proximity to UTSA as well so it was convenient to walk to campus everyday. Review from 11/20/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2016: I've lived in Campus Side for four years and the only two reasons that made me leave this place is: it is not pet friendly (I am a very pet oriented person) and it has one bedroom apartment only (we needed a bit more space to receive guests). This is a very inexpensive, practical, safe and quiet place to live in. If you are doing your Masters or your PhD, that's the perfect place for you. You can either live by yourself or have a roommate. Campus side is extremely quiet although it is surrounded by luxury and huge apartments and The Block. It is very close by to UTSA and there are a few shuttles available less than a mile distance. Review from 7/21/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2016: I lived at Campus Side Apartments for 2 years while I completed my masters degree at UTSA. I was in the market for an affordable, quiet, and convenient apartment and Campus Side really fit the bill. Sure, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you are working in the area or going to school at UTSA and looking for a quiet place all to yourself that won't break the bank, definitely give Campus Side a look. Jose, the landlord, is such a friendly and accommodating guy who addresses any of your questions/concerns quickly. He is both the landlord and the maintenance man, so you will often see him running around getting work done. Review from 7/16/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2016: I absolutely loved living here. The apartments look old, but they are excellently maintained. Everything was spic-and-span when I moved in, and I never had any problems with vermin or bugs for all ten months I stayed. Only two downsides: 1) there is no web system for paying rent, receiving package notifications, or putting in maintenance requests. This really is no big deal, as it keeps you in good contact with the manager. He's very attentive to issues and knows everyone by name and face. 2) my AC unit has no thermostat. It's a wall unit with manual switches, making it inefficient and inconvenient to manage the temperature. During winter this wasn't so big an issue because I used electric blankets at night, but during the highest point of summer it can be hard to keep things comfortable. Otherwise, I solidly recommend this place. Close to ca Review from Google
May 2016: XXXX is a one-man Army for Campus Side Apartments. He does everything from leasing to building and grounds maintenance. He's really doing the work of multiple people and deserves a raise. I certainly hope the higher management appreciates his hard work. The apartments are conveniently located close to the UTSA campus and other attractions as well. Should I relocate back to the San Antonio area I would certainly see what options there were to return to Campus Side. Review from 5/30/16 on Apartment Ratings

Jul 2015: I lived at Campus Side Apartments for two years. I had to break my lease about two months early because I had to move up to Dallas last minute. Jose, the apartment manager, went out of his way to find a tenant that could move into my unit so that I wouldn't be responsible for the last two month's rent while I was gone; he could have easily placed the new tenant in another empty unit. This complex is definitely affordable. It's a nice cozy space and within walking distance to UTSA - main campus. The Block, an outdoor bar, is right next door and sometimes gets noisy on the weekends (they often have live music), but it's never been unbearable. Review from 7/15/15 on Apartment Ratings
Sep 2014: Nice place, I lived in these appartments for one year in 1989 looks still the same no change at all. Used to pay $50 a month rent, wonder what is is now? Loved the place Nehal Akbar Appt 508 Review from Google
Mar 2010: I recommend this place for an older crowd who's tired of the crazy party college complexes surrounding UTSA. I've lived in many different complexes, and this one can't be beat! I'm renewing my lease for another year as I type this. Any problems, Jose is sure to fix them; plus, he cares about whether you're happy in your place or not. Sure, the place is old, no dish washer, no garbage disposal, no recycling bins (as of yet), but if you want CHEAP rent that you can't find anywhere else, Campus Side is the bomb. Also, everything is pretty quiet, which is great. Review from Google
