Jun 2019: *update* maintenance did finally get the ac to where it was cooling the home but the unit ran so much it was ridiculous resulting in the most incredible electrical bills! We moved as soon as our lease was up and into a BIGGER, nicer apartment and our electric bill is HALF what they were here!! Sorry but we are so happy we left!!! 95 outside and constantly 80 inside maintenance says this is normal... if you can tolerate that for they the price they charge for an apartment then this place is ok... parking is a pain due to the spots literally having a hill and car constantly scrubs unless you can pull sideways Review from Google

May 2019: I have made the appointment because they have available apartments online and a good price. When I came they told me they don’t have any and I need to apply by the picture online. Also the prices from $1450, on Zillow form $1000. In fact this is a horrible experience. Do not spend any time to visit this place. They start to scam people from a start. Review from Google
May 2019: I had my eyes set on bungalow oaks for over a year. The duplex style homes with privacy fences in back yards were accommodations I had been searching for quite some time. My boyfriend and I finally moved in here in January. The office made this place sound like it would be like no other place we lived before.... and they were right in a very negative way. How utterly disappointing. You have all this property, and these rare accommodations for this temple terrace location. Yet, you treat your residents with the most insignificance and still process our checks every month. We were bounced around with different units in the beginning and that should have been my red flag. They couldn’t even get the address right. Signed one lease then they changed the location when we were set on the kitten drive unit. This went on for two weeks after I’d already taken the move in time off for my job. How unprofessional Review from Google

May 2019: This complex is very professional, the price is very reasonable for amenities, clean and with nice size apartments. They offer pest control so the reviews make no sense (don't miss your appointments for service), the previous complaints about pricing....you knew what you signed up for (no surprises there), staff is amazingly kind and curtious (Kristen Heaton, has gone out of her way to accommodate my search) Managers are always aware of potential renters and give options to accommodate as well. Options to have washer and dryers are a nice bonus! Backyard, covered patios...what more could you ask for in an apartment?! Thanks Kristen we greatly appreciate your patience and wonderful customer service as you've gone above and beyond! We will gladly send you business at anytime! Review from Google

Mar 2019: I have lived here for two years and this past year I have experienced a rat infestation. The management is a joke and do not care about their residents or the conditions we live in. I am a month from the end of my lease and they refuse to give me my deposit, because I did not give them 60 day notice! They have no loyalty or compassion. I have had to replace my couch, because of the rats eating a hole through it. 80% of my food in my kitchen cabinet had to be thrown away, because rats ate it. They refuse to seal up the holes the rats have created in the walls. I have rat traps that are throughout the apartment and still have rats. The community is disgusting and I hope this review deters anyone from renting! I had to put one star, but they deserve none!!!!!!

Feb 2019: We like our place and private backyard. We would certainly recommend Bungalow Oaks to others. We have new appliances and kitchen counter top, really nice. Our friends like this apartment. But, how many times in the same day does the landscape crew have to weed eat my dirt? Please, It would be great if they actually let some grass grow and stop spraying dirt twice in the same day. There is nothing to weed eat or mow. Save the management company some money during the "Winter" months. Have them come once a month.
Feb 2019: This is a place that I would never recommend bc I have never had my move in list ever finished after 7 months. There is Not wheelchair access into the office unfortunately nor to the 70s laundry room without a quarter machine either. They don't have settings that work on the washer and dryers anymore. Mold. Dilapidated. Too much money for what there is offered. That's what you get here. People I met lived here 20 years ago and I heard that they moved out for the same reasons. No concern whatsoever and I am leaving as 60% do all the time bc of the problem. I've never seen any place have so many vacant apartments either is saying volumes and I don't know if they will ever replace or improve when you have an antiquated place is sad and it is like buying a used car and getting a lemon. I'm thrilled that the drug people moved though immensely! Red ants in the grass and the German cockroaches and termites and fleas bc they don't spray the grounds whatsoever is a big problem for ants etc Review from Google
Feb 2019: The neighborhood is beautiful. They base all elegibilty on a FICO score. Laura the manager was able provide excellent service.
Feb 2019: Just moved in. We like it so far but the landscaping crew comes to often. There is nothing growing.
Jan 2019: Lived here for 2 years, office staff and matienance staff are the only good things I can say about the place. Very overpriced for what you get, especially when compared to other residental options in the area. The walkway to our home constantly flooded, as in almost ankle deep water, it looked as though the water was leaking into a crack in the foundation as well. We had water soak up into the carpet in one of our bedrooms, and several times had water literally right against the bottom of our front door. Also if it rained very hard pilot light on hot water heater would go out every single time. They increased rent every year and put up new fencing, but only on the areas that you could see from the road, they left the interior fencing which is old, and was rotting apart in a lot of places. Very noisy due to the college apartments all aroun Review from Google
Dec 2018: I've lived here since July. It has its pros and cons. Maintence is awesome and the new maintenance supervisor is very helpful. The backyard is a major plus and the wood flooring. Down side is it is expensive. For all the rent we pay they should put up a fence on the main street Facing fletcher to make it seem more secluded and minimize the noise. When it rains hard my hot water heater pilot light goes out everytime. But for the most part I enjoy it. Review from Google
Nov 2018: The neighborhood is beautiful but the leasing consultants are garbage. They base all elegibilty on a FICO score.m. For the money we pay as consumers and renters the customer service should be on point. Laura the manager was able provide excellent service and refund Review from Google
Aug 2018: Alright, so I’ve lived her for a little over two years now. At first, I loved it. I did find it a little odd that I wasn’t able to see my unit until almost move in date. Fine. So my unit is right next to the maintenance shed. I was told I wouldn’t have any trouble with noise from them. That was absolutely and completely wrong. It’s like they are building the Taj Mahal every damn day. I can hear them talking and yelling and workin all day long. Second my neighbor had two giant Great Danes who would start barking at 6am and continue to bark throughout the entire day. Great. That was definitely a downside, but the dog barking was resolved. My house does flood when it rains, but Tampa in general has poor drainage, so that was to be expected, and most of these units were built on low level ground. A minor inconvenience and if I need water Review from Google
Jun 2018: Terrible place to live. The maintenance staff are completely incompetent and on top of that they lie. The office staff is equally repulsive. Often misleading residents about benefits they will receive. Which includes saying they spray for bugs and rodents. From my experience roaches are everywhere and large vermin end up inside the apartments! Never have I been so upset about living somewhere. Wish I would of never of signed a lease. **This isn’t not my real name. Posting anonymous to avoid rental property retaliation. Confirmed, verified! ** Review from Google
Jun 2018: Bungalow Oaks operates and maintains the complex to the bare minimum required. While I am sure they have spent a lot of money to make the units more up to date, the only things what were really impproved were the exteriors of the buildings. When they put in new fencing they could only be bothered to replace what you can see from the road instead of updating all the dilapidated wooden fencing behind all the units. On top of that, they want to break down your rent into various things that you have to pay for (backyard usage fee) which is rather silly, because I am sure that is not something you could opt out of paying for if you really wanted to. Furthermore, they are in cahoots with a local towing company (RC Towing) and management will call and have the tow company come tow your car in the middle of the night when you are likely sleeping and Review from Google
Mar 2018: Great place to live. The personnel are very attentive to resident needs. Maintenance staff are knowledgable and professional. The rates are very reasonable compared to other rental options in the immediate area. They have a dog park and two pools. Very pet friendly. No through traffic to deal with. They are steadily making improvement. There are a fair amount of rental options. They even have a nice laundry facility to use. Great place to live! Review from Google
Mar 2018: Kailey Kuhl, what an ultimate professional, super friendly and very knowledgeable! It was very easy to work with Kailey, she listens to you and your requirements. She gives the right advice and a proper plan of action to get things done hassle free! Review from Google
Mar 2018: Nice place. Kailey was very supportive in helping us in quick moving in. Great experience. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Very nice Apartments they feel like you are actually in a house everybody has their own backyard and a fabulous fabulous dog park and beautiful pools as well he will love calling this place home Review from Google
Nov 2017: I can assure you the positive reviews are fake. Talk to residents who are leaving by the droves, there is nothing good about the place. It’s dated, poor condition, does not meet even basic code. Staff laughs at you, makes fun of you and lies to get you in. The caliber of renters is sliding downhill FAST. Crime, rats, bugs, mold, flooding units, poor condition of units and high prices are the norm. I had CPS knocking on my door looking for the property manager!! Don’t even think about renting here!! It’s thecwotst place ever!! Pet friendly? Poisonous toads EVERYWHERE! Maintenance lets your dog out and a few have disappeared. Poisonous cane toads everywhere!!! Even eggs in the pool and the toads jump in too. Fences on outside look good, falling apart behind units. Filthy laundry and public restrooms!!! Run so fast!!! Review from Google
Oct 2017: I've lived here going on 4 years now and I've had my fair share of run ins with the management team but who hasn't? Kaylie is very nice and they're understanding. This is a beautiful big community and maintenance is awesome especially Chuck. The fenced in yards are nice for your dog or just to relax. I've had one major issue since I've been here but they accommodated us. I've never had a problem with any kind of bugs, rats, or any of that and I've lived at two different apartments here. The apartments are older but renovated some with very nice upgrades. Neighbors are very nice and quite. I love it here and we don't plan on leaving until we're ready to buy a home. I would suggest this community. Review from Google
Oct 2017: I viewed an apartment with my family- it was nice and the staff is extremely pleasant. Sorry to say I did not see any vermin running around. Just a good property if you want a yard and a little place of your own. Very Serene. Review from Google
