Nov 2019: It’s a beautiful place but have no respect for people who are disable and no handicap space in area we are and there is certain person who complain about space reserve but won’t give it to handicap person. I tried to get it reserve or handicap space in area of build 9 and build 4 still waiting on corporate to do something about it. Review from Google
Sep 2019: I have lived at Summit West a year and a half and do not plan to move soon. I love the location as I am very close to almost anything in the Tampa area. The complex is always working to upgrade the apartments inside and out. The grounds are kept nicely. Maintenance is hard working and respond quickly. I haven't had any problems with insects. I like it here and recommend it. Review from Google
Aug 2019: The BEST apartment complex I’ve lived in. Smart locks on the door, clean and kept up dog park, and easy access to management and Maintinence. Reasonably priced and SUCH a nice management staff! 10/10 would recommend. Review from Google
Jul 2019: BEWARE YOUNG ADULTS! If you want to sign for an apartment and get excited, start planning, and then get a phone call saying “oh the tenants are taking it back,” look no further! Not only will they ALLOW the tenants to take it back, but the manager (Daniel) says “NO APARTMENT IS GUARANTEED” That’s if you don’t mind signing 3 differences leases. If you Have a serious concern and want to get laughed at? Look no further just ask for Pam! They don’t return phone calls no matter how many voicemails you leave. Pam doesn’t email back and always has an excuse plus she leaves early or just isn’t there! However, the only way to get answers to your questions is to go in person. I’m not sure if it was because we were young and black, but Pam thinks everything is funny, won’t return phone calls, and doesn’t mind giving you the run around. Happy hunting! Review from Google
Jul 2019: Great rental experience! Daniel and Pam are honest and straight forward ( which I loved). I would recommend this property as it's one of the least expensive/safe properties in the area. Review from Google
Jul 2019: My family has lived here for 20 years, and for awhile it was a really nice place, all things considered. But as of late, we've been having more and more issues that haven't been addressed by management. It just keeps getting worse, only to be told "tough luck". It's gotten to the point where we've advised our friends and family to look somewhere else, because we're definitely not signing here ever again. So from me to you, there are much better places that are more centrally located with better management ESPECIALLY for the price. Happy hunting Review from Google
Jun 2019: Clean complex with nice size apartments and renovated units. Review from Google
Mar 2019: The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and centrally located; maintenance is prompt, and facilities are sufficient. just renewed our lease and don't plan leaving soon. Review from Google

Mar 2019: I really love these apartments safe and friendly. Great maintenance crew with great attitudes. You can't hear your neighbors through the walls. Very pleased with moving in here.
Feb 2019: I lived here a grand total of about 8 years so Summit West and I have been through a lot together. Pros: the neighborhood is extremely quiet most of the time (there were a few incidents with some rowdy neighbors), people are generally friendly/respectful, the office staff is courteous, and maintenance is, bar none, the best I've seen. Like seriously, I often wondered how they got some of the maintenance requests done so fast? It's like Jimmy John's. Cons: the buildings are older so things tend to break or need maintenance often, the water is not individually metered so that can mean a higher than average water bill, they now charge for parking which is increasingly hard to find given the number of (again, paid for) assigned parking spots, and they are a bit pricey. But would I live there again? Absolutely!!!! Summit West is a great place to live.... I moved out because I bought a house.
Dec 2018: Not happy here. They hit you HARD with hidden charges and bill you in the sneakiest ways to try to make you pay late fees. Noisy, unruly kids are always on your doorstep, no parents in sight. Do not sign a lease here. Run fast and far. Review from Google
Oct 2018: I had a very difficult time deciding on which apartment I wanted, and had a few other issues prior to moving in. However, Cynthia was great, she was very patient with me and showed no frustration. She took out time to ensure I found the right apartment that I actually wanted. She had to change my documentation over four times on a Friday evening right before she was set to leave. Her service was outstanding and her humbled sweet spirit convinced me this was a good place. The maintenance is also great and the area appears to be very quiet. I’m pleased so far, even though the company has two deposit fees that they don’t explained well prior to paying the application fee. Review from Google
Jul 2018: I've been here a year and it really is one of the best deals for the money as far as renting goes. Never had any issue with other residents or staff, and the maintenance team has always given me a speedy response when needed. Really the only downsides worth mentioning are the older, thin windows, as well as the lack of visible signage regarding building/apartment numbers. Review from Google
Jun 2018: I moved to summit west in 1994 I lived there for 10 years. I loved living there my kids really enjoyed it as well. I moved in 2004 the Charlotte NC job relocation but had I not moved I would probably still be there. Review from Google
May 2018: I moved into summit west apartments 8/15/2015. The staff is great including maintenance. I really don’t want to move but I am tired of Carpet in my apartment only because the laundry room gives off a lot of dust creating a dirty look to the carpet no matter how many times I carpet clean. AND if I want to put down flooring I have to pay for it instead of being an incentive for renewal, which management don’t offer unless you the resident bring it up. I will be vacating on 7/2018 Review from Google
Apr 2018: The Pros about living here is its very quiet. You may get the occasional loud bass of someones music playing every now and then as they drive past but not to bad. The parking spaces are pretty big so if you have a bigger vehicle you wont have any issues. The staff is friendly and are not rude. If you are coming from out of state be prepared to get ripped off. This is a very diverse complex and have a lot of good families here. We have the same apt as our neighbor facing us and theirs is renovated with washer/dryer hardwood etc and they pay 300 less then us and we have no washer/dryer and one gray color going throughout the entire apt! Next Con is the plumbing, it sucks really bad. Tons of backups, and when we turn the water on hot its cold for like 15 seconds then gradually warms up. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they a Review from Google
Jan 2018: I have lived here for a year now. I will not be renewing my lease for several reasons. First being PRICE. I have a 3/2 with all new appliances (including washer and dryer) and my rent is $1390. On top of the rent we are charged $15 for parking that's not a designated spot and about $100 a month for water and sewer. There is only ONE garbage for the entire complex and it's a far walk. The complex is quiet for the most part and the office staff is very friendly. So I have mixed emotions about this complex. My ceiling caved after the hurricane and caused a rodent problem so I was very upset that my renewal had an increase. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Awesome place to live, great service and amazing maintnance. I never heard my neighbors because of the one level and concrete walls. My maintenance requests were taken care of immediately and if it weren't for a job change I would continue to renew my lease year after year! Review from Google
Oct 2017: Rent is not that bad for the area but the apartment is a little bit old. The management team is great! five stars to them! Parking lot is always available. No problem with Neighboors. Review from Google
Aug 2017: I wish I could give - stars! No parking ever. Staff lie all the time. Fees are out of control. Theft and murder but no security is provided. Charges for parking when there's never any. Would not send my worst enemy here to live Review from Google
Jun 2017: Ive lived here almost two months now. I absolutely love it! Very quiet community, courteous neighbors. I had my first maintenance request for something small and they were at my apartment within a couple of hours. Very pleasant staff! Hard to find a community as nice. Review from Google
Nov 2016: Great. I lived there for more than a year and never had any problems with the apartment, neighbors or staff. I don't know if the apartments were well isolated or our neighbors were very silent but, I'm sensible with noise and I was amazed by the tranquility of the place. Review from 11/10/16 on Google
May 2016: This place is wonderful. Prices in pet fees had went up but the business office was so attentive to the complaints that they dropped it. It is nice to know the business office looks out for their residents. I would definitely recommend this complex. Maintenance is on top of things and are at your service when needed. My husband and I are very happy here. Not to mention we also feel safe! Review from 5/8/16 on Google
Mar 2016: STAY AWAY. I thought this place was a steal when I rented but but this place is not worth the cost and they are deceptive. You will end up paying we'll over $100 in additional fees not included in the original rent amount AND they are starting to charge for "preferred" parking spaces. There are many people who should not be here on the property taking up vehicle space so instead of fixing the problem they will be charging residents a MINIMUM of $25 to have a parking space that's not three lots away from your front door. Maintenance is terrible. They don't work nights or weekends and you have to complain to management before things get fixed. Also there is no irrigation so when the sprinklers go off they flood all of the sidewalks and there is no way around it and the water consistently gets to a height above your ankles. Review from 3/27/16 on Google
Feb 2016: I'm fine with my apartment. I lived here for 6 months. It is not horrible and it is not wonderful either. I never saw insects inside my apartment. It is clean and barely had problems with anything. Most of the time i requested services they responded positively and quick...not always though. It s an ok apartment. Never had any big problem there. Review from 2/15/16 on Google
