Oct 2019: You would think that as a employee, your apartment would be move in ready right? Or even as a regular resident. Well guess what, we had to move in with no cabinet drawers, no AC, no shower rods, no drip pans for the stove, no closet doors, no bathroom mirrors. They said the apartment was painted and I found children's hand writing all along the hall way wall. This move in was a DISASTER!!!! I also work in property management and I would NEVER move any of my new prospects into a unfinished unit. Employee or not! On top of that, it took them months to get us everything I listed. I guess that's because the manager was using her husband's company as a vendor to do work. So, working with family, we all know how that goes!! Maintenance was trying to help us get our unit ready, but when you have a manager who doesn't know how to run a property and does not schedule anything, how can they work? Going on 4 months with not a single invoice paid, and nobody to assure that it’s going to be taking care of. If you plan on doing business with this property/company, do yourself a favor and DON’T. Jun 2019: My family and I have been living here for 2 yrs, are staying for another year. About 1 year ago the staff here were VERY unprofessional, things were falling apart. Now the new staff is VERY professional, the property mgr Tara is always very kind and professional, she's always walking the property too make sure it looks clean and good, I really like living here now, Tara and her staff has really turned thing's around here. May 2019: Hi St. Moritz Apartments, I’m in need of a new home & these reviews do not help. Maybe you all should take the time to read these, take constructive criticism & do better. No one signing a new lease wants to read about issues being unresolved for 2 months & definitely NOT cockroaches. Yuck, gross. I haven’t even visited the property yet, I STOPPED HERE! Bath rooms are disgusting, master bedroom bathtub doesn’t drain, guest bathroom shower has very low water pressure. All around this place is terrible and it’s definitely been the worse move in experience I have ever had!!!!!!! We've been here for 3 months and we're stuck with a 1-year lease. When we came here they told us it's gonna be ready when we sign the lease. They told us we have to sign the lease before getting the apartment but it was not ready yet. Tey had so many things to fix. They took more than 2 months to fix the house and still some stuff are not done properly. Whenever something goes wrong in the house (like a sink not draining) they take too long to come and fix it. Sep 2018: one star is too many for this review. Mold is coming through the drywall and out the AC vents at my daughters apt. Drains don’t drain and maintenance is nonexistent, they won’t return a phone call let alone show up to do any repairs. All the five star reviews on here we’re obviously written by management. Water pressure here is absolutely garbage so don't move in if you like to be able to rinse soap off of your body in less than 30 minutes with nothing other than a trickle of water that does little more than run down the wall from the shower-head. Aside from that all you have to deal with is incompetence at every turn whenever you go into the front office. They'll look you dead in the eyes and smile while offering nothing useful at all to solve any problem you might have, saying that there's 'simply nothing we can do'. May 2018: I am absolutely pleased by the work that new management has put in to ensure a safe and beautiful property at St. Moritz. Ms.Tara and Daniel are the absolute best at accommodating their tenants and efficient at implementing new amenities to upgrade the property. I can tell that they work very hard to keep their tenants happy and are very understanding to any unfortunate predicaments that may arise. I admire their effort to help their tenants in the best and fastest way possible. I do not typically leave reviews, but I could not let their hard work and deserving recognition go unnoticed! I've never lived here but after seeing DEAD COCKROACHES in the show unit (this is the unit that no one even lives in) I kindly requested that I get my $299.00 holding fee monies returned to me.
They never held a unit for me, I asked for my money back within a few hours of my initial payment (not quite 3 hours had passed) so I couldn't see why it would be a problem. They didn't turn anyone away because they were holding a unit for me.
They apologized for the DEAD COCKROACHES and made mention that they spray pesticides WEEKLY, (must mean there's a real infestation) but I politely declined. I just want my money back, I'm a single mom, its the holiday season, I don't want to share my room and board with free loading COCKROACHES!
