Apr 2018: Beware- lease agreement for one year but if you get sick or lose your job or get new job you must still pay out the year.
Apr 2018: Since the new management (when they switched to the name Radiant Palms), this complex has gotten much better. The renovated apartments are nice and they have actually been using the gate and a patrolling guard where in the past it has been left open felt unsafe at times. Review from Google
Apr 2018: I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible. My fiance and I lived here for 2 years and I have to say it is the worst apartment complex we have been at. No one answered the phones when there were issues to the point that I called the office, put my phone in my pocket and walked in and watched them sit there and ignore my call. They broke a window in my apartment when re doing the roof and didn't inform me they just fixed it and left broken glass in the apartment which wasn't discovered until my dog stepped on it. When it came time to resign they tried increasing my rent by $200 a month, for what? claiming they are "renovating". All they did was make cosmetic changes to the outside in the form of new roofs, fresh paint and some new outside lights and trees to make them more appealing. don't fall for the scam, if you do end up renting her Review from Google
Apr 2018: STEER CLEAR! I've been living here for two years, and I can tell you that the new management is horrible. They keep wasting money on cosmetic changes that serve no purpose like changing the colors of buildings, replacing the higher quality clay roofs with cheap shingle roofs (Imagine the horrible noise for months). Gates are constantly open since they took over, creating a constant security risk. When they renew the apartments after the last resident leave, they put all the appliances in front of the door and leave them for months even after new resident moves in. On top of the disturbances they create, if you are just 1 day late for paying your bills, know that you will be charged with outrageous fees. Phones are usually never answered, and if they do answer, they will tell that they will call you back and they never call back. You have to Review from Google
Apr 2018: I've lived here for two months now. This is a wonderful place to live. As I understand it the apartment complex has new owners and you can see the positive changes happening here every day. Recently they got the gate fixed, which I read in other reviews, had been broken for a very long time. I have one of the renovated apartments and it's very stylish and modern with a large bathroom, great appliances, and wonderful sink faucets. Third floor rooms have lofted ceilings which is nice. The gym center has new equipment, is very clean, and open all day and night. It has everything you need to work out. The neighborhood feels safe, the people are friendly, and the maintenance staff is very good. The leasing office is staffed with very friendly people and they are very helpful. I like the valet trash service here... I don't have to drive to the dumps Review from Google
Mar 2018: This place is ridiculous. The people who live above me constantly smoke pot on their balcony. When my patio door is open the smell fills up my apt. I have a small child here. I complained and was told oh just call the cops, we can’t do anything. I’m excuse me but you can send them a warning and let them know if it happens again they will be fined.
Mar 2018: New resident here. Application process was easy and staff was very helpful and kind with my move in conditions as I moved from another state. Overall great experience so far and would recommend to others. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Not the best place I’ve lived.... Hot tub finally working after 2 months, grounds are improving, the complex including halls needs a power wash, dusty and grimes. To be honest I wouldn’t stay here again!

Mar 2018: I toured the complex and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the staff. I didn't feel rushed in the tour and all of our questions were appropriately answered. I looked at units near the lake and loved the screened in patio. Lovely view. The upgrades seemed nice and loved the fact that a washer/dryer was available. Although our relocation plans changed, I feel like we would have really enjoyed living there. Review from Google
Feb 2018: The manner in which they treat their residents is absolutely disgraceful. Requests and emails are consistently ignored. Stay away!! Review from Google
Feb 2018: I moved here two years ago and it was a good complex. They changed their management last year, and then it’s getting worse. They turned off the auto pay for the rent. So people constantly forget to pay the rent and they get their late fee. So if you like to use auto pay don’t move here. What kind of place don’t have auto pay right now? You name it. Oh right! This complex. Their printer never works! Sometimes it’s this problem and sometimes it’s that problem. Always has a problem. So prepare your own printer if you want to move here too! And they have meetings in the printer room. :) I guess the printer is just for nothing. And after this new management they increased the rent A LOT! But they just repainted the appointment. Yeah good move! Review from Google
Jan 2018: I’ve been living at Radius Palms for about six months now and I’m very happy here it’s a great location and I’m looking to upgrade and stay a while . Just got off the phone with Tyler at the leasing office who was incredibly helpful, kind and patient he answered all my questions I had about wanting a newer apartment. Review from Google
Jan 2018: I have lived here for four years, and though this feels like home, I cannot stay here any longer. The new management team is terrible and do not care about the residents. They have made nothing but cosmetic changes to the complex and charged us all hundreds of dollars more per month because they planted a few trees and painted the side of the building. Valet trash is something we are all charged an overpriced amount for, but have to keep the can inside our own apartment or we get fined. There is only a small window of time that we can set it outside, but they do not pick up the trash on time anyway. MAINTANECE IS HORRIBLE!!!! I had a hole in my ceiling above my head, leaking water in my bedroom, for months!!!! I called and called, they sent people to "fix" it, but all they did was spray the white popcorn spray over the hole, time and time Review from Google
Jan 2018: STAY FAR AWAY. I had high hopes for this place, but they were all destroyed by the new management. The manner in which they treat their residents is absolutely disgraceful. Requests and emails are consistently ignored and problems are left unsolved. These problems include an ice maker that was not fixed after multiple requests, which lead to water leakage and mold growth on the interior of the cabinets and warped floor boards. Several requests were put in to address these issues, but they still persist with no resolution. The valet trash is a pointless expense considering the limited time we can place the trash outside to avoid a fine. I just walk my trash to the dumpster so I am paying for nothing. Since they no longer accept checks for rent I am forced to pay ridiculous fees for online payment, and this month because they failed to put in th Review from Google
Jan 2018: I used to love living here, but now I can't wait to move. They have increased the price of EVERYTHING, but have only made cosmetic changes to the apartments as a whole. It's way overpriced, and why? Everything that matters has stayed the same or gotten worse. I would never recommend this place to anyone. UPDATE 01.05.17: Management responded below by saying I should call if I wanted to discuss my concerns. How exactly can I do that if the leasing office never answers the phone? I get an automated message about 20% of the time; otherwise, the phone rings once then goes into dead silence. How many reviews is it going to take for something to actually get done about my complaints? Review from Google
Dec 2017: Honestly beyond sick of this place. Maintenance is trash and it’s extremely overpriced. My renewal period was a few weeks ago and I put in some maintenance requests before resigning. They came the same day and looked at everything and said they’d be back. The next day was my deadline to sign and I was optimistic because of the maintenance service the day before, so I did. I thought I should at least give them a chance since we got yet another new manager. Once I had signed, they came back to fix a leak that they noticed on the first visit. Said they needed to get another part and that they’d be back again. Here it is three weeks later and I still have holes in the wall from where they started to fix the leak, and the leak HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I have called repeatedly to ask about the status and my calls are ignored or they just say they Review from Google
Jul 2017: I renewed my lease in April to start in May. New mngt, so I wanted to give them a chance. They came in and seemed to want to change things....but....I called today about an issue I've had for about 10 months. Smell coming from bathroom sink. Left 3 messages previously, no call back. I have had maintenance out 3 times since new management and had finally a call back today about issue not being fixed. I literally have washed my hands, brushed my teeth in the kitchen or bathtub for months. I asked for rent concession and was told today, no. I still have the same problem. I was promised a carpet cleaning with my new lease...it's July, no cleaning. So why am i paying full rent for this? I WILL NOT RENEW EVER AGAIN here. I made a mistake. I have a masters degree and a full time professional. I plan to spread the word about the response to my issues.
Apr 2017: New management! I am a current resident here and I can vouch for the awesome new people who took over. I have been very impressed, as I resided here the past 12 months and am going to resign. They have changed everything they are redoing all of the paint on the buildings (a complimentary white, gray and blue, looks very nice) as well as all of the apartments. They have even begun to focus on more intricate details such as gardening. It already looks entirely better than before and the staff is great. Before the change in management I would not have resigned but now my boyfriend and I feel like this is becoming one of the best apartment complexes we have seen in the area. (Or most luxurious, at that)
Jan 2017: Reading these comments I'm a bit alarmed to see all this negative feedback cause I have nothing but good things to say. Though I agree the cabinets are a bit old fashion and are in need of an upgrade the 1 bedroom I'm currently residing in with my boyfriend is great. We did have an incident where our refrigerator broke but they immediately replaced it and when the workers left a small patch of water on the rug from the move the complex agent sent out a rug cleaning service the next day. We're very close to the gym, tennis court, and pool area so it's pretty accessible. No recycling which is a bit frustrating for me because I come from the north, but that's as far as my complaints go. Review from 1/1/17 on Google
Dec 2016: Moving in here I was expecting a luxury atmosphere. What I got was re-facing of all the old drawers that were original and fell off the tracks daily. The apartment is okay though nice balconies and storage. There is a SERIOUS raccoon and wildlife problem, these rodents WILL eat your trash and leave a mess and feces, if you leave it in the bin outside your door. We had to put a gallon of water on top to prevent this from happening. The valet trash does not take large objects so you usually have to haul your garbage(that you are paying a fee for) to the compactor. The property manger XXXX is completely stubborn and unprofessional. Review from 12/18/16 on Google
Dec 2016: Appliances are quite old, the fridge is very loud for some reason, and painting was done terribly. However, it's tolerable. A big issue I have is the roaches. Stumbled upon several roaches and have to use our own form of pest control, almost every day. I'm surprised I'm not having dreams of roaches by now. Also, the landscaping company is very inconsiderate; every Thursday I have to sweep several piles of dirt from our patio because they just blow the leaves and don't consider that all the dirt is coming into the residents' patio; EXTREMELY messy, rude and quite annoying. And maintenance does take a very long time, it's only when you say it's flooding that they'll actually come, and still take like 5 hours. Review from 12/6/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I have lived here almost 3 years. The previous management was terrible and rude after we moved in. The assistant manager was really the worst! Since the new management has come in we couldn't be happier to stay! We almost moved and did not sign this renewal due to some personal things, we figured it would be easier to move somewhere that already had what we needed than to ask for it. We were wrong and I'm glad I asked! I went to speak with the assistant manager and he immediately within 5 minutes of speaking did all he could to help me...This was Friday and as of yesterday he gave me exactly what I needed to stay and live comfortably! Review from 4/22/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I like it for the most part. The flooding in the front of the building is tearing up my car. Anytime I have a guest come and they sleep on my sofa bed in the living room they always say how they can hear everything going on outside which sucks. The maintenance staff is very very slow with repairs. At least when I lived at Amberly Place they were over that same day. Cops seem to get called a lot. Guy got arrested once. Woke up to 2 girls fighting in parking lot few weeks ago and called cops. Roof leaks a lot which means I'm sure their is mold growing. But they are replacing the roofs slowly. I feel the carpet looked so worn when I moved in. Review from 4/21/16 on Google
Apr 2016: They really should remodel, apartments are run-down and customer service is hardly decent. Takes minimum 4 days to get any work order done. Definitely not worth what they charge for rent, especially the extra $35/month just to have a washer/dryer unit in your apartment. Review from 4/18/16 on Google
Jul 2015: I've recently moved to Tampa and had the luxury of touring about 10+ apartment complexes before choosing the right one for me, which turned out to be St. Croix. Hopefully this review will help those in my situation figure out their living situation, too! First off, take St. Croix's rating with a huge grain of salt. I've read just about every review for St. Croix before signing the lease and many of these "complaints" are minor at best. Compared to a lot of apartments in this area within this price range, St. Croix is an oasis. You'll find the occasional cockroach in any apartment/house/villa/mansion in Florida.
