Sep 2020: I’m a current resident here and my girlfriend was harassed by the manager over dog waste, these people have occupancy violations, PITBULLS on property when they are illegal. I’m a maintenance tech at another property and it’s like night and day with the two. Our lease is up in April and it can’t come any faster, Do not sign with this complex.
Sep 2019: If you’re looking for apartments do not rent here! Run while you can.. before I moved in I made it clear that my daughter is disabled and in order to get her in and out of the car I needed a handicap parking and I was told once I’m moved in if there is none near by They would make one for me which there is none near by the closest one is two buildings away which is just a regular parking with a handicap sign on it which makes no sense I can’t get her in and out of the car either way and someone is always parked in it anyways I told them but they just laughed in my face and said I’m crazy for thinking they were going to take two parking spots away for me so it has been really hard with the parking situation alone, the people in the office are rude and don’t care about anyone living here they are only nice before you sign the contract. The apartment they show you looks ok and decent but once you get into your apartment it’s a joke the floors are place all wrong some even have chips and pieces lifted, the bathrooms tubs are cheaply spray painted, the baseboards are all chipped and dirty, paint job is really bad, it’s infested with spiders I probably kill about 5 spiders a day and I have put in request to get get rid of them and they only spray for roaches, my door has been messed up since we moved in the plastic thing to cover from animals getting in was not placed correct so I had all types of of lizards coming in finally got that fixed today I’ve been here for 6 months, the gates never work so you have everyone coming in from all over the neighborhood using our pool and dumping trash everywhere, the people here are so ghetto, kids running around with no parents and I mean little kids 5 and under and I’ve seen couple people dumping trash bags in the parking lot because they’re nasty, the trash area is always full and trash is overflowing into street, the gym has never been opened in the 6 months of me being here which I’ve asked and they tell me next month for the past 5 months, the sprinklers are always broken so my porch and walkway to parking lot is always flooding and when it rains it’s the same because it’s over floods too Review from Google
Sep 2019: Awful. Dirty. Very unresponsive maintenance/property. Washers/dryers do not operate for a week and steal coins. No notice of malfunction is posted. Do not recommend.Aug 2019: I have had issues with this apartment from the moment I found out the leasing agent put my deposit down for the wrong apartment layout, that I did not want. The main issues I’m currently having are bugs and roaches crawling all over my apartment. At night when I turn the lights off, and then turn them back on quickly, I’m able to find at roaches of all sizes crawling on the clean counter tops. This morning I woke up to a roach crawling on me in my bed. I have put in multiple maintenance requests for pest control and they simply say I have been added to the list! Yet, no one has followed up with me to tell me that anything has been done. Obviously nothing has been done if I’m having this bad of an issue that is rapidly getting worse. There is basically an entire ecosystem living in my apartment, from roaches to spiders, ants, occasional nats, lizards, and termites. If you keep your apartment clean and bleach on hand, the bugs will go away.
Office staff do not care as long as they are getting paid.
Inside the apartment- Really nice, for as long as things work (and when they break expect a couple weeks for it to be fixed)
Overall- if you don't mind no amenities, never need help from office staff, and only stay inside your apartment, this is the place for you! Review from Google
Jul 2019: Absolutely HORRIBLE. I have been here since March and it’s only gone downhill since I signed the lease. My patio floods completely whenever it rains, which is all the time now that it is summer. My AC unit is broken and I was told that I would “have to wait it out like everyone else without AC.†It’s 85 degrees in my apartment. The gates never close properly. The trash area overflows with stench and garbage into the parking lots. Drug dealers live next door to me. A few nights ago there was a fist fight which included about 40-50 people rallying around outside at 11:30pm. There are random people coming and going from the streets at all hours of the night. The buildings are infested with termites. My dishwasher hasn’t worked since I moved in. The water pressure is laughable. I’ve witnessed the making of several rap music videos IN MY PARKING LOT at 4am. I’ve called the cops more times in 2 months than I did in the last 10 years Review from Google
Jun 2019: Hot mess horrible apartments. This is the projects! If you can afford to live elsewhere - do so. Do not live here!!! No air conditioning for months during the hot Florida summer. They don't care and will not do anything to assist you. The trash is running over into the streets and smells. Run away and don't fall for the fake niceness. Once you have an issue you will see how they really feel about you. Jun 2019: Moved out last month, broke my lease. This complex houses a dangerous community. I cannot lay my head where I do not feel safe. Please check it out at night, or on the weekends. Take a tour of the pool area during non-office hours. I attempted to relax at the pool 1 time. Not relaxing at all, just a bunch of unsupervised children and teens. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I see a lot on negative reviews about the ac. My air conditioner was a very old unit. I averaged $180-220 for TECO every month and I had a 1 bedroom. The office does not care and we are told it is not considered an emergency. (even though it has been in the middle to upper 90s everyday). My neighbor told me to leave a review and the first thing I noticed was a 5 star review left an hour ago by Erika Reyes. Curiously I clicked on her name to see her other reviews and she had like 5 reviews ALL TODAY and ALL are 5 star reviews for apartment complexes in the area. They are seriously paying people to leave 5 star reviews....
This place keeps getting worse and worse by the day. I do like the inside of my apartment (with working ac) but it is really scary walking out to your car and leaving. Take a drive through at night to see what I mean.

Jun 2019: Though the staff is very friendly, The maintenance is terrible. I put in work orders when I first moved in and 2 weeks later they have not been completed. I have only lived here two weeks and the AC broke. I have been without AC for 6 DAYS! It has been 85 degrees in my apartment which is considered an emergency but nothing has been done. It has been looked at twice one maintenance tech claimed to fix it and another took a look said he would come back and never came. I have spoke to the staff at least 7 times and nothing has been done not even a portable unit has been placed. I have been told multiple times “sending someone right now†and no one shows. Being in 85 degrees in your home is unacceptable especially with a child! I would not recommend this community at all!!!!May 2019: The gates at these apartments are never working. Therefore, if you like to share your pool with an entire neighborhood that do not live in the complex then this is the place for you. This complex has a pool that is basically a community pool. They come from the surrounding streets and dirty up the place leaving garbage all over (even in the pool).. OH and be sure to check out the brand new weight room. It will always look new because it has never been open. I have been here almost a year and it has literally never been open. If you ask them they will tell you sometime next month. I cannot wait to move.
oh, and i had to make a fake email to post my review. I felt compelled to after seeing all the -5- star reviews from the office staff. The happiest most satisfied tenant in this complex would never leave 5 stars- it's not that type of place- AT ALL. Review from Google
May 2019: Know someone that has been without air condition for 3 days now with kids and they are not fixing the problem. Absolutely unacceptable.

I may be moving to this area for work and thought I would run in with the few minutes I had during lunch, to ask some questions. I was met by Chelsea, the manager, and left with everything I needed to know! I was welcomed in, spoke to with respect and felt at home as soon as I walked in. When I left the office with all the information I needed to rent, The manager took me to tour a deluxe apartment and “WHOAâ€. Amazing!!!! I also noticed the amazing landscaping and the dog park. I’m so happy that my pup would have a place to run and play and do his “businessâ€.

Savanna the assistant property manager is such a delightful pleasant person. Her professionally shined with answering every question and concern. Feb 2019: Went to get information for a friend looking for a 1 bedroom. once i walked into the leasing office you can sense a friendly and upbeat vibe. Savanna was the 1st one to greet me. she answered all of my questions with great knowledge. 1st time i have been on a tour and had so much fun. Savanna really set a high standard for the other communities in the area. I told my friend Chris that is the place to be. just think about coming home to friendly faces after dealing with rude people all day long. its a huge relief! I wish my community was as friendly as they are! I told him this is #1 on my list he must check them out himself!
Feb 2019: Heard a lot of great things about this community so I decided to check it out for myself. And I was not disappointed. Such an amazing place & not to mention they have a dog park for my little pup. The assistant manager Savanna was extremely nice & answered all my questions. Jan 2019: Thank heavens for the maintenance guy Monterrio. Grounds could be way cleaner if it weren't for trash everywhere. Thankful to have somewhere to stay but I'm definitely moving when my lease is up. Review from GoogleDec 2018: We haven’t slept since we moved in 1.5 months ago.... these apartments are poorly made, the people upstairs sound like a stampede live up there it’s like 10 people who live in there which I understand that’s not Ashford Place fault but when u can hear them walking and talking that’s bad they are up until 3 am than they wake up at 5 am so it gives us two hours of sleep than we try to catch up on sleep on the weekends but we can’t the people next door wake up at 7 am and you can hear them talk, beat their kids, and have sex because of how poorly the walls are made sometimes we think people are in our apartment. My issue is that they charged my credit card $1600. I've never been in contact with them, been on their property or anything of the like. Never heard of them.
I understand mistakes can happen but every single number I call gets sent to a voice mail system, where they're all full so i cant even leave a message!
