May 2019: This is the school district of Tampa palm elementary school, with USF and elementary school buses at the gate.The staff in the office is very enthusiastic, and the maintenance is relatively fast. I like it here, although I am about to leave. Review from GoogleMay 2019: this place was good at first to move in i stayed here for 2 years during this time my rent went from 925 m/o for a 2 bed and 2 bath to 1400 m/o if is deiced to renew my lease for the 3rd year. since i stayed at this place it was always falling apart form the kitchen cabinets to the shower .the dishwasher had a horrible smell coming it and when i washed my dishes the dishwasher overflowed, maintenance takes a moth or more to come and fix anything i just moved out after being there for 2 years and after i moved out in stead of getting my deposit back they give me a bill for 467 dollars saying the kept my deposit and after they took it that is what i owe, when i called them and ask why. they said because they had to remove the carpet and lay down hard wood. so (I"m paying for them to upgrade their unit. this place is crooked and i"m now in the process of taking them to court to get my deposit back. do not i repeat do not live here. Feb 2019: This was the first place I lived when I moved to Tampa in 1997. I see not much has changed since I lived there. People would steal my Victoria bras right from the washer which was located right when you drive in, The air conditioner CONTINUOUSLY froze an their answer was to take a blow dryer to it. Someone was in my apartment when I wasn't home, found items on the floor that weren't there when I left for work. I should of changed my locks. I had to move because of a nest of bugs were building in my living room and management did NOTHING. It was gross! Loved the pool and whirlpool, and those live oak trees with the Spanish moss. They were charging $550 a month in 1997. I see nothing has changed... SMH Review from Google

While I was only with Oak Ramble for one year I was appalled by the response time and enthusiasm to solve issues by both office staff and maintenance workers themselves. Of the work orders that were put in at my time there I believe one was done the way that was expected. We eventually started living with some issues because we knew they wouldn’t be resolved. Allegra is a shining example of customer service. Whenever we needed ANYTHING we would say a small prayer that she would be there for us. Outside of dropping off the rent check or picking up a package you should really wait until she is available to assist you.

Of course, every international student who has got a seat in University of South Florida prefers Oak Ramble as their first choice. The first week we have come in, we had issues with the AC several times, but the management has proactively resolved the issues. And the environment is perfect. There were no lights in the bedroom and hall which, I got to know is common in US.

You won't be able to sleep and get some good rest. It's very noisy and loud. All floor and Windows are wrapped with plastic. Staying here is not sweet home or place to relax anymore. A/C is very old. It takes so long if you need them to fix something in your apartment.

My apartment is so nice, with stainless steel appliances and new cabinetry and great flooring (especially in the kitchen and bathrooms!). Neighborhood seems safe and you are provided with a nice alarm system. The staff is fabulous, office and maintenance, the best customer service. Only complaint is the pool areas are not as advertised and seem to be under construction (but no construction is happening)..they should definitely be cleaned up and re done.
Review from 4/14/16 on GoogleApr 2016: Well first and foremost the staff at oak ramble is amazing! Im in one of the renovated apartments and my apartment is beautiful. Ive never had issues with noise or anything (other than during the construction).They will come spray in and around the outside of your apartment for bugs weekly so ive never had a problem with that either. Overall this complex is way above average especially for the convenient location. 100% recommend!
Review from 4/11/16 on GoogleFeb 2016: Was not expecting much from this complex when I moved in. Not sure what people mean about crime... never had a problem and I live in the very front. New company bought the complex about two years ago and has been putting money in upgrades and remodeling. The upgraded models are incredible, especially for the price and location. They are currently renovating each building by completely stripping the outside and putting in new windows and insulation as well as a whole new look (serious work, not just shining a turd).
