Feb 2018: I signed to live in IQ way before it was built actually. I really liked the pictures I saw, the stuff was very friendly, the also promised me a pool view room which I really wanted so bad ! As I really want to actually use the balcony. Well that lasted until I moved it. They did not give me a pool view room. They gave me a room that's on the first floor by the parking lot with one of the roommates being a boy (even tho they make sure to say each apartment only has one gender). I tried to say something about it and of course I was ignored. I left then for a study abroad then stupidly I signed another lease with them. They put me in a room with 3 boys. the common room looked like they partied everyday ! I did mentioned on my application that I really want to live with only girls !

Jan 2018: I moved in only this past week and have experienced problems. The room was very dirty and not move-in ready. I came back after leaving for two days and someone had been in my room even though I had locked it before I left. I have complained to the office staff and they told me that the management was busy but they can change the locks. When I moved in I was not informed about anything other than how to pay rent and use the keys. The apartment appeared nice on the tour. Hopefully it gets better. Review from Google
Dec 2017: I'm reading these reviews in shock. I have only lived here 2 weeks but these reviews seem very one-sided. I have found every single staff member to be extremely helpful and accommodating. I had a few small concerns which were handled very carefully and in a timely manner. Kudos to Giselle, Kye, David and the entire IQ staff. Sep 2017: Updating my previous review. Not only was the flea issue not resolved (they're baaaaack), but the temperature automatically resets at 78 and the apartment is very hot, too hot to sleep in! can't reset it either! And the reported issues upon move in were supposedly "resolved" according to an email sent, but in reality the sofa and broken tv were never replaced. can't get anyone on the weekend or after hours when there are maintenance issues such as the extreme heat and the broken elevator. I'm not impressed, and recommend others keep looking. not worth the money at all!Are there any places where I can meet with many USF apartment communities, in person, at one location? At USF, there is a wonderful event called the Bull Market. At the Bull Market many of the local apartment communities will have a booth. Sep 2017: I just moved in & boy do I wish I lived somewhere else...
the parking garage is NOT SAFE. There are SO MANY PARTIES... I have lived here for 2 weeks and already had to switch rooms due to ANTS EVERYWHERE. Little did I know my new room was also infested with ants, I called the office and they admitted that they have a LIST OF MANY APARTMENTS WITH ANTS HERE. The counter tops leave a spot every time they get wet... my carpet is horrible & the front gate barely works. I wish I did not live here, it looks nice on the outside but that's it.Aug 2017: My daughter is so exited to be moving into her first apartment at IQ. I'm not however. Having to pay for the full month of August and not being allowed to move in until 8/16 was the first issue. She lives the apartment and likes the roommates but hasn't been able to move in due to an extreme flea problem. Seems the last tenants had "service" dogs and they didn't take the necessary measures to check and take care of the problem before move in date. They have promised to take care of the issue by replacing the sofa and sending pest control back out. They did offer what they considered an upgraded apartment on the ground floor in the back building where I do not want my daughter due to safety issues since there has been a previous armed robbery on the property. She wants to stay where she is but wants the flea issue resolved so she can actually stay there.
Jun 2017: I would like to give the place 5 stars because the inside is modern and my child loves it. However, the toilet wasn't clean upon moving in. The grounds need to be kept up a little better. Sidewalks are very filthy and needs to be pressure washed. And most importantly is the safety. I was able to walk right in the door to the hallways from the garage because the door was broken. And also, after the gate entrance and entering the garage , they REALLY REALLY need speed bumps or something.

May 2017: I have settled in pretty well here. Not cheap but you get a ton of utilities included with your rent. Amenities are mostly modern except a few cheap pieces of furniture. No bugs. Management and maintenance are great.
Noise is the biggest problem here. Party animals thumping bass into the night and trash the grounds but management is usually on it quick.
I have recommended a few upgrades to justify the rent hikes for next year. Gym is pretty bare, could also use a vending machine and printing.

If you are paying 729$ per month for an apartment that is mostly dirty in the shared living space, then you can just as well get a studio that has everything and is clean. The only reason I went with it was the garage to protect my convertible from the Florida sun.

May 2017: If you want a very honest review on IQ apartments then this is for you. For starters I understand that this is "luxury" living. Great! But if you know anything about luxury then you will understand that your granite counter tops should not have rings or spots every time something wet touches it. Your hard wood floors should not be popping up in the corners. With in the first month of being here half the pool side caved in. The front gates hardly work. Not only myself but multiple tenets that live here have had problems with their washer and dryer. Myself and three of my old roommates had our whole entire wardrobe damaged because of the washer and dryer.

Main office/Customer service is just outstanding with Candace Farrell, Giselle Freeman, Courtney Beal and etc leading the way and being so great at doing their job! Free water, lights, cable, washer, dryer, and comes furnished, gym facility, and a pool! Really not sure what all the complaining is about this is a spanking brand new apartment and already is the best in town others can't compete. Would really recommend moving here.

Oct 2016: I am absolutely loving my experience living at IQ apartments. The staff and residents are all so friendly and welcoming. Our apartment exceeded all of my expectations and felt like home the moment I walked in. Move in day the manager showed us to our room and made sure that everything was perfect before she left us. The amenities are fabulous and there always seems to be students enjoying them throughout the day. I have visited many other student apartments in the area and IQ is by far the best. I am so happy to be living here!

The Luxury in IQ Luxury Apartments is not to be taken for granted, as this modern and stylish complex combines creativity with an ingenious design. Living in the 1st building and in a corner room, I wake up every morning to a magnificent view of the pool, which is gorgeous. The leasing office is also brilliantly crafted and contains one of the top staffs in Florida, comprised of hardworking leasing specialists, regional directors, and a quick to the job maintenance crew.
