Sep 2019: Lived at Eagles Point for about 2 years and would not recommend. There has been many different managers and staff in the office over the past 2 years. Each manager pretty unpleasant. Adding anybody to the lease was a hassle with management. They sent a bill to collections without even notifying us of the bill after move out. Had many packages stolen from my front door. The apartment complex and dumpsters and usually very dirty. The pool and gym is very nice. Review from Google
Aug 2019: I have been here about a week. The place seemed ok. Then I started seeing bugs!! There are roaches everywhere! There are ants everywhere! And in my bed I found a silver fish bug! Called the office to have them send in pest control and there has been absolutely no change. Washer doesn't work, First 2 mornings I woke up with my front door was unlocked when I know I made sure I locked up the night before. They did change the lock which so far is the only thing ive been pleased with. But the bugs!!! If you don't like bugs don't move here!!! I'm going to be calling my own pest control company and if this problem does not get resolved I'm moving! I dont do bugs, I refuse to live with them. My things will be remaining in storage and unfortunately will be tossing out the things ive already brought. So mad!!!! Review from Google

The apartments are beautiful for the initial walk through but upon move in, there were cockroaches all over the kitchen- inside the cabinets, in and in the fridge, not to mention spiders in literally every corner. The first time I used my oven, it stayed on all night even though the oven light indicated it was off. Now the light stays on, yet the oven is off. The restroom tub drain does not stay up either. I have put in work orders but - including an emergency work order for the oven, and have received no response. I even stopped unpacking because of the bugs and how unsettled I am. I would highly recommend not moving here- it’s not worth the money or headache Review from Google

And now we have this odor coming out of the garbage disposal that makes the whole house smell like sewage. They have yet to respond to our numerous complaints about the garbage disposal needing to be replace for over two weeks.

May 2019: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I had to call the police to show up because someone was breaking into my apartment while I was in the apartment. And the complex is making me pay my lease termination fee or move to another apartment on the very small complex, even after I said I do not feel safe and the individual resides on the complex also. Stay far far away!
Update: DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! They are awful and my neighbor still is here!
Update #2: upon moving out, I returned to the apartment to get the last minute things and again was informed the same neighbor attempted to break in and was beating someone up in the parking lot. My husband and I applied and got approved for a 2 bedroom apartment. Upon driving over to see our future home we are greeted with:
- a dirty, bug infested entrance
- ceiling cracks which were just painted over
- wasp nest right outside balcony (with no promises on maintenance being able to do anything about it)
- cockroaches
- dirty carpets
After asking different people in the office about pest control, trash, parking, noise concerns we were also left with vague to no straight forward answers on their procedures to take care of such issues.
We immediately realized we would not take the apartment as $1300 per month is not worth such a mediocre quality living space.
To make matters worse, when we let them know we would not be taking the apartment we were rudely let know that we would not get our $281 back upon this decision (we had not signed anything yet) Review from GoogleMar 2019: In all honesty I had high hopes for this place, but after the customer service and feedback from the property manager; I am glad I found a home somewhere else. After seeing how awful the apartment was, I requested my refund back and now these people will not give my $200 admin fee. They received had a shady contracting company repair some of the rotted wood but left the original wood around the windows which are original to build it seems. The A/C units are trash the maintenance men are trash we have new ones every other month. Dont make any emergency maintenance thru the app they will be handled as a normal maintenance request. Corporate doesn’t return phone calls or emails. So just be cautious of the mold and ask to see your unit at least a week prior to move in so you can inspect for mold. When I was searching for an apartment I checked their website for the rent which was $815 for a one bedroom unit. I went there to check out their requirements for application and the next day the price jumped to $830. When I filled in the application they told me the rent will be $845 because of trash fee and other stuff. It does not end here! When I signed the contract the rent ended up being $860. When I asked the leasing officer he told me it's because of the trash fee which he had already calculated (surprise! you are going to pay for the trash collection fee and other things every month). The leasing contract (30+ pages) literally takes all the rights from you for suing them or any complaints. I have asked to have the screens repaired because of the squirrels and the repair ticket keeps getting closed before it is done. Now to my major complaint. In the two years there has been 6 YES 6 property managers. And don't get me started on the maintenance staff turnover. I have had ac issues since day one. It can't stay cool during the day so it runs about 18 hours straight EVERYDAY. They "fix" it and it is better for sometimes a couples weeks. The air handler is 32 years old and has never been cleaned. I have included pictures. The last maintenance man agreed that the air handler needed to be replaced. What got replaced was him. Yes I understand that rent can increase from year to year but $100 the first year an Review from Google
