May 2018: The process of moving in wasn’t really a hastle for me, but the day before of move in day I was told that I could look at my apartment. When I drove over there they “didn’t have the key” so I didn’t get my tour. I moved in and filled out a sheet of all the things that were wrong with the apartment and maintenance came by and fixed a light bulb. I easily could’ve done that myself. They didn’t come back to fix anything else. Maintenance is terrible and can’t correctly do their job. My lock broke off of my bathroom door and they never came by to give me a new one. My rent also went up every month for no reason. A bunch of fees I didn’t know about prior to moving in. They also tried to give us a fee that wasn’t ours, it was the people who lived there prior to us. They put it on our account and tried to get us to pay a fee that Review from Google
May 2018: I give it three stars because it’s decent. My biggest issue was how to hot water only last for about 12mins. If you’ve had a long day run a bath because after twelve mins the hot water goes straight to cold and will definitely piss you off. They’ve got a basic pool with an even more basic gym. There amenities are slim. If you want a place that’s going to keep you entertained this isn’t the one. Hard to meet people here because of that. Not a fan of the staff leaving to work at 4pm. The nicer apartments keep staff 24hrs and I think that might be overkill but leaving before someone makes it home from work is just bad. Decks are wooden so if you live on the first floor beware of neighbors above you with a dog. Their hair flows right through those gaps straight into your drink. This can also happen with cigarettes butts and just any sort Review from Google
Mar 2018: Current resident for two years, completely disastisfied with the property manager in particular and the way they handle lease renewals. I had been asking for awhile what the rate increase would be and the staff kept telling me they would be released. I finally get the rate increase though email and it comes a mere 9 days before I have to give a 60 day notice of whether or not I will renew, so that basically gives me 9 days to secure another apartment if the rate is out of my budget. The property had a lot of upside when I first moved in back in 2016 but it seems the management is more concerned with making money than customer service. The property also towed one of my cars with a decal when I was loading things into my apartment. And I had to pay 200 dollars for and when I went to the manager to see if I could get any kind of credit. She Review from Google
Jan 2018: FALSELY REPORTED ME TO COLLECTIONS KEEP IN MIND: I never visited the actual apartment complex, I cant even begin to tell you how to get to the Hunt Club Apartments by Cortland.Yet they sent me to collections through a company called "RENT RECOVERY".BEWARE. don't EVEN APPLY, THEY'LL RUIN YOUR CREDIT. I considered moving into this apartment complex in my relocation to Charlotte. I ultimately didn't hear back from the sales rep after I initially submitted the application. I check my bank statement some time afterwards and noticed they charged me their 250.00 application fee TWICE. I call my bank and reverse both charges considering no one followed up with me for the application I attempted to submit. I have the charges reversed and go on about my life. I receive notice that The Hunt Club apartments have reported me to COLLECTIONS FOR AN APPLIC Review from Google
Dec 2017: I’ve been living here for just under two months and I love it here. The office staff as well as maintenance staff have been nothing but nice and extreamky helpful. It’s so quiet here which is a something that I was really hoping for. Such a great little community to live in! Review from Google
Dec 2017: I have lived here for a few months and love it. Diasha and Melvin are great! Whenever I go into the office I am greeted like a close friend. Although there are a lot of small issues in my apt Melvin is always right on it. One day he fixed 7 issues all in an hour! I really love the people and the great location. Review from Google
Oct 2017: I love this community. The guys that worked for this company are so good. They made me feel like I have a big family. If you want to enjoy trucks food, free beers, meet new neighbors, this is the place to live at. Met Kristine, Dana, few Emily’s and bunch of other lit folks. The complex is top notch! Hands Down! Review from Google
Aug 2017: I have lived at Hunt Club for about a month now and could not be happier. The upgraded units are very nice and everything works perfectly. The staff is INCREDIBLE! Heather, Emily, and Melvin have all helped make my move work so smoothly. The remodeled leasing center and pool area are great too. The complex seems relatively quiet. The car cleaning area is a definite plus. You can tell this community is going to continue to flourish. I would definitely recommend living in this community. Review from Google

Jun 2017: I have been living here for about 5 years and the first 4 were fine. Then when they got new owners the raised my rent up to 1350 for a not good apt anymore. The old ones were so much bigger and they were a lot nicer but they made me move to a new one and this one is horrible. There is no outlits any were to have any kind of lights in the place. I have to hook up my lamp to out Landry room. Review from 6/9/17 on Google
Apr 2017: I moved here to Hunt Club in January 2017 and initially i was completely satisfied. However, within the first week the light bulb cover in the laundry room had fallen randomly and shattered over the floor. The kitchen has a bluetooth radio and the welcome packet does not go into intense detail as to how to connect it to your devices and the bluetooth code is located in the inside of the breaker box. The instructions say "inside the door." The paint job was poorly done but thats no big deal. After living here for a month and a half, i noticed there was a leak from the unit upstairs above my toilet. Review from 4/24/17 on Google
Apr 2017: Do not live here! You will lose your deposit if you don't clean your oven and management doesn't know what they are doing. Also, there is a good chance your apartment will smell like weed from neighbors. The rent is too much for what you get. Review from 4/16/17 on Google
Dec 2016: I really enjoyed staying at the hunt club apartments. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. If there was ever a problem the staff was sure to have it fixed very fast. The manager XXXX was extremely helpful and very polite, XXXX and XXXX were awesome also. Review from 12/1/16 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2016: I must say that XXXX and XXXX have made a great impact on me moving to the Hint Club Apartments. They have went beyond expectations to make sure that all my family needs were taken care of. Also, I would like to also thank maintenance for their dedication and hard work to make sure that me and my family needs for the upkeep of my apartment and their kindness. Being an resident at the Hunt Club has been AWESOME. Again thank you XXXX and XXXX and team for a wonderful experience. Review from 11/30/16 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2016: The maintainable staff has been amazing especially XXXX! He was very friendly and cordial, but more importantly he arrived right on time and got the job done quickly on a Sunday morning. Keep up the great work Hunt Club and thank you XXXX for your excellent service! Review from 11/27/16 on Apartment Ratings
May 2016: I wanted to wait a full month before I gave a review. Ashley was the person who helped me and was great. I needed to find a place to move that has a good rent amt and fast. She was able give me a tour via cell phone. I got a nice welcome package and no complaints so far. Its quiet here and everyone is mature and friendly. I had a dryer issue this morning. They came out and fixed it w/I 45 min. The upgrades are nice, and I love the daily trash pick up via door side. Not a bad place to call home for an apartment. Side note. Upgrading the windows and seal as well has not having the doors 2 inches above ground would be nice; but I think all apartments are this way. Review from 5/8/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I recently accepted a job with Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC area, my job is due to start effective 05/02. I had already applied to another complex in the area, but did not go with them due to the lack of professionalism within the management team. So over the weekend I started a new search, since I was not able to come to the area it was easier for me to base my search on the reviews from current and former tenants and also on what the complex had to offer within my needs. I submitted a request for information on this complex, not expecting to hear from anyone until the following week. Review from 4/28/16 on Google
Mar 2016: Hunt Club is by far the best apartment complex I've lived in (out of a total of 5 since I've been in Charlotte) They are accommodating, understanding, compassionate and it has been such a breeze and pleasure to work with the ladies in the leasing office! I've been here for 7 months and all encounters from the day I toured the apartments have been positive. I could not imagine staying anywhere else in the university area. I love calling Hunt Club home :-) Review from 3/17/16 on Google
Nov 2015: I recently moved into Hunt Club Apartments about a month ago and so far I love everything about it. I love the layout of my newly renovated apartment. It is very spacious and has the modernized look that I love. All of my appliances were brand new which I loved! I have a two bedroom and it is the perfect size for my niece and I. I put in a work order to have my walk-in closet light replaced and it was done the next day. I also lover the fact that I have a washer and dryer in my apartment! The office staff is very friendly and helpful and made the moving in process convenient and easy. I also like that I am so close to 485 because I can get to work, or to Concord in 10 minutes! Overall I am really happy to call this place home! Review from 11/16/15 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2015: I recently moved back to the Charlotte area for a job. I attended UNCC but was away for about a year. I spent 2 days straight trying to find an apartment that was affordable, close to work, and had an overall "good vibe" about it; meaning I felt comfortable and safe. Besides the new design of the entire community especially what the new apartments look like from before. And all that they include I was blown away right away. Everyone in the office is incredibly nice and always willing to help. The biggest thing that I find to be excellent is the overall customer service they provide. Being in that industry myself- the staff at Hunt Club ranging from the sales office/management to landscaping crew as well as their maintenance crew. Review from 10/30/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2015: Hunt Club is a great community and is in an ideal location! The staff are very welcoming and helpful! Review from 10/28/15 on Apartment Ratings
Feb 2015: I absolutely love my apartment. I feel safe for the most part, see deer occasionally, and am in close proximity to everything Charlotte has to offer. No place is perfect, but I have been able to make MY apartment perfect for ME! Review from 2/12/15 on Apartment Ratings
Dec 2014: The entire community should be renovated, not just select buildings. Maintenance not willing to resolve issues in non-renovated units. Bad commute if working in uptown Charlotte. Community has a unique amenity of having a basketball court but it is never available. Guests allow non- residents into the fitness area which is a security concern so I pay a gym membership instead.
