Feb 2016: Do not be fooled by how nice this place looks compared to the rest of the university apartments. It's equally as awful.
Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot at all hours of the day and night. Especially at night. My unit faces the road and I'm up all night several times a week because people come in blasting music in their cars, so loud it shakes the windows. I've called and complained multiple times but was told unless I could prove what unit these people were living in nothing could be done. I've also called the security for the complex and nothing is ever done. Those guys are a joke!

Aug 2015: KEEP SEARCHING FOR AN APARTMENT!! While the staff are very friendly and they talk a good game. If you are in a building with weed smokers, drunks, or junkies they will be getting high in the stairway. If they smoke in their apartment they will have to pay an extra fee because of the "smoke free" policy. I have and will continue to complain about the weed heads smoking outside on the play ground, parking lot, and breezeway. On a good note inside the apartments are nice and each apartment has a sun room.

Jul 2015: Sooooo disappointed with this place. Moved in over last Christmas, only took 2 months to want to move out. First, there are hidden charges they don't make you aware of at time of application. Trash, storm drain and pest control fees. Dogs are allowed and there are little clean-up bags with trash cans, NO one uses them. Smoking areas are a joke....college kids smoke pot out of huge bongs right outside the pool area. There are cig butts everywhere. The pool is actually really nice...when it's open. The maintenance guys are nice, but lack intelligence.

Sep 2014: can't say enough bad things about this place. This place is advertised as a "non-smoking" property, but that is far from the case. Cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke are fluent on this property. The apartments have extremely thin walls, can easily hear people upstairs having sex. Even though it is a gated community, people easily get through by waiting for residents; cars roll through early morning with music blaring from cars. The maintenance workers are about the only thing that this place has going right for them, they are kind and courteous. I would not recommend this place, there are plenty of other places around this complex. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Jul 2014: I moved into Barrington in 2012 loved the "appearance" of the complex and what seemed to be an accommodating staff. The term "Smoke and Mirrors" doesn't do it justice. Since moving my payments have never been consistent with what was written in the terms and agreements. For example unfortunately I was subject to being laid off at my job always paid advance and/or time. Well when it came time to pay my late fee which I accept they had NO sympathy for me or my husband who had experienced it as well not only that when we calculated the so called "late fees" basic math didn't equate to the amount "came up with" irregardless it was paid.

Jun 2014: Since I've been living at Barrington Place I've had no issues to date. The staff has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. My apartment was immaculate upon move in and even though my neighbors keep to themselves they're pretty friendly when you speak to them. The parking lot could use some tlc though because it doesn't have potholes or anything but it's rather dusty which doesn't make the place look as aesthetically pleasing as it could really be. Breezeway maintenance and valet trash could be a great thing for this place. The back entrance could also use an actual gate as well but the neighborhood isn't bad so it's not too serious. Parking stickers or passes could also be a plus. Other than that it's awesome. I love it.
