May 2016: This complex is okay, but many things about it make it sub-par. It is definitely not worth the amount of rent I pay or the title "luxury apartments." It did recently change ownership, so maybe things will improve in the future.
For starters, the gym is only open during office hours and closes at 5 on some nights. So basically you can only use the gym if you don't have a job or go to class.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, things have not improved with the new company owning the complex. We were forced to add a fee for "valet trash collection" which we did not sign as part of our lease. This collection service doesn't even collect recyclables so we still have to walk to the dumpster regardless.

Apr 2016: I wish to give 0 stars not even 1.
I would not recommend this society at all. Management will be helpful only till the time you move in and thereafter they won't help you instead they may lie.
We guys have faced 2 incidents where somebody broke into our house and yet no big action has been taken by this society. We have asked them to give us some temp accommodation but they told us 2bhk is not available in-spite its clearly written available on their site. We doubly cross checked it by asking our friend to enquire ashford people and they did say they have availability.

Oct 2015: I am a resident at Ashford green apartments. I absolutely love the well maintained lawns and the warm and friendly employees who are ready to listen to any concern you have and fix it at the earliest. I would recommend the community to a friend

Sep 2015: Ashford Green has the best staff of any apartment complex I've ever seen. In my life. They are truly so kind and because of that any problems that we have had have been met with a desire to fix the problem. However, I will still lost the things that my roommate and I did not like about the apartment. When we first moved in their were bugs, but the apartment was sprayed twice since and they are taken care of. The sliding door is hard to open and close and the screen door is next to impossible. Maintenance says they are waiting on tacks, however that has been almost a month ago now. The apartment also could have used another deep cleaning.

Aug 2015: I am new to the area and found Ashford Greens online. When I went to check it out the staff were awesome and very helpful. It is close to so many places, grocery stores, shopping and much more.
After moving in the staff has also been helpful as well as prompt to my requests. Every experience I have had has been great.
Pool and weight rooms are in great condition too.
I would recommend to my friends and family.

Mar 2015: I love my stay at Ashford Green Apartments. Any activity that I require is within walking distance of my home-retail stores, restaurants, and libraries. And mass transportation is improving with the installation of the light rail. The lush grounds and peaceful environment adds a suburban ambiance to the surroundings. I can recommend Ashford Green Apartments to anyone whose looking for a little piece of country in the middle of the city.
Review from 3/07/15 on Apartment RatingsMar 2015: I've lived here since August and love my apartment! The grounds are beautiful!! There is a lake and a golf course running through the complex. The Greenway is nearby (not connected to the complex) but you can easily walk to it by crossing N. Tyron. The office staff is AMAZING! Super friendly. Maintenance is great as well! I have a nice little balcony which I love. This was actually the cheapest one bedroom I could find and I love it! It is the perfect size for me. They do have a pet rent and pet security which is good to know if you have a pet. The complex is quiet. The location is perfect!! It's right next to Foodlion, Kohl's, Starbucks and Chipotle- everything you need :) I would highly recommend Ashford for a grad student/young professional.

Feb 2015: I have lived at Ashford Green for less than a month, but the professionalism of the office staff is amazing. I love the cleanliness and updated decor of the apartments. May 2014: Ashford Green Apartments has been a great living experience. The location is great being close to UNCC, shopping centers, and not far from both 85 and 485 interstates. The apartment area is well kept and makes for a beautiful place to live.

Having the luxury of living on a lakefront golf course is certainly not an amenity you will find at a complex anywhere else locally. The complex offers an array of excellent amenities such as a 24 hour gym, well maintained resort pool, spacious apartment floor plans, and a leasing staff far beyond those of other apartment complexes. The staff always greets their residents by name whether it be when you walk into the office or when they pass by you in the complex. Maintenance responds to calls promptly and follow up to make sure all issues have been resolved.

You don't have to deal with all the charges and rules while living in an beautiful place. I live in one of the town-houses and absolutely love the space. it has big bedrooms, garage, bamboo wood flooring and a decent sized kitchen with brand new appliances. Other reviews say that the ladies in the front and management do not care about the residence but I have never had that problem. From the beginning they have helped me get the lease that I wanted and ever since then they have continued to help me with all my requests (they replaced half the downstairs carpet because of a pipe burst in the kitchen).
