May 2018: I have been at Mallard Green Apartments for three years now, the staff and manager Kris are extremely nice and welcoming! The maintenance staff is very quick and friendly! Great location and reasonable prices compared to nearby apartments. Great community and noise is reasonable! Overall, I am very happy with my time at Mallard Green Apartments! Review from Google
May 2018: I'm going into my third year living here and it's been excellent so far. I like my apartment and it's easy to get a hold of staff if you need to. It should be noted that some of the old reviews referring to fred are no longer applicable because they're under new management now, I've worked with Khris the whole time I've been here and shes been great. Good maintenance staff, great location, and everybody I know who lives here likes management. I don't spend a lot of time at the office at all and the property manager still knows my name and where I live off the top of her head. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I would definitely recommend Mallard Green! Kris and Tessa were some of the most understanding people when I told them I could no longer live there due to personal reasons. I was able to get a new roommate to take my place and I was able to get my security deposit back within 2 weeks of moving out. When I did live there, the maintenance men were always friendly and very prompt when it came to issues in my apartment. Review from Google
Feb 2018: It's almost impossible to get a hold of anybody in the office. Stop by the office, nobody's there. Call, nobody answers or bothers to return your call. I've been waiting 2 and a half months to get my deposit back and they just keep giving me the run-around! Review from Google
Jan 2017: Spent all day watching my neighbors sliding and hitting other cars....From the snow storm on Saturday.. The ENTIRE PARKING LOT AND PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALKS ARE ALL ICE!!!!!!!CONTACTED MY LANDLORD HE INFORMED THERE IS NO SNOW OR PLOWING REMOVAL IN Alexander Town Homes!!!! NEVER will I rent next year!!!!
Jan 2017: I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEW FROM SEPT. 2016. Woke up this morning with COCKROACHES!!!!Called my land lord I have a corner unit, he stated I must have brought them with me, REALLY, anyway he happens to also own an exterminator company, I am moving out look for a unit for rent shortly. BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I will be leaving all of my furniture and vacating the unit I DO NOT NOT COCKROACH EGGS IN ANY OF MY PERSONAL PROPERTY.
Sep 2016: DO NOT RENT FROM A PRIVATE OWNER. When signing our lease he told us the dishwasher was broken , ice maker did not work kitchen pantry doors would fall. There were no screens on the windows (HOA) rules, all he cared about was getting his rent every month and we were diligent about that He never repaired any of these issues, Moved to a Townhouse through the Tomlin Group it is excellent.
May 2015: You can't beat the price for what you get at the Alexander townhouses. I've rented here through the Tomlin Group for about two semesters and overall I am pretty happy with it. The location is what really does it for me. I can walk nearly anywhere I need without too much of a hassle. The townhouse itself is in okay shape. Could be better, but definitely worth the price you're paying for it. I have recommended this location to friends and I still would now. Review in 5/30/15 in Apartment Ratings

May 2015: I rent from The Tomlin Group. Overall, I've had a good experience living here. The rent is fairly cheap and within walking distance from campus. There has been minor maintenance issues, but we put in work orders and the maintenance guy comes pretty quickly to fix the problem. The only problem is the top level doesn't get much ac. We put in a work order and he shut the bottom floor vents off and it still didn't pull much air upstairs. Other than that the only complaints are the neighbors smoke weed all the time and throw their trash in our yard. We filed a complaint and within a week the trash was gone. Kind of expected with everything else living in a college area. My roommates and I signed for another year so it's not a bad place to live. Review from 5/26/15 on Apartment Ratings
May 2015: For the past four years I have rented a Townhouse at Alexander Towne through The Tomlin Group. Overall my stay there has been enjoyable. It's close distance with several stores to meet my needs and has a pool access as well for the hot summers. The amount of room is plentiful and is by far my favorite stay for my college experience so far. It's affordable, cozy, and can be individualized to each renter. The only downsides are some noisy neighbors, some maintenance/structural complications, and interior painting. Review from 5/24/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Mar 2015: Good place to live, but as always dependent on your landlord. My advice, avoid unccrentals!! Horrible ppl to live under.
Apr 2013: There is nothing wrong with this location. I have lived here for 2 semesters and its been great. Noise isnt that bad and its not the "ghetto." Its about fifteen minutes from campus walking and rent is very affordable. Review from 4/24/2013 from Apartment Ratings
