Sep 2017: I lived here a couple years ago. I just felt the need to reiterate what everyone else is saying. While living there the place was way over priced and the neighborhood was one in which you didn't want to go outside after dark. I left the day requested on the lease and left an immaculately clean apartment. Since I didn't give 2 months in writing that I was leaving (even though my lease said a certain date,) they jacked my rent up 300 dollar more a month and wanted me to stay another 3 months so I can give my "Two months notice in writing." All that would be fine except for the fact I told the office workers I was leaving on this date and there was no mention of needing paper work or a price hike. Aug 2017: I went to visit Addison Park yesterday and I must admit the apartment is quite nice; however, Jenny is incredibly short and frantic and she often times is not really listening to what you have to say. There were some issues with the person I was going to be living with and I made sure to ask very specific questions before even submitting an application. It turned out to be a waste of time and money as the responses to my questions were not answered thoroughly or honestly. There was a lot of "just apply today. seems like you like it," rather than taking the time to listen and answer my questions, accordingly.
I'm sorry that I did not read the reviews before applying. I have the opportunity to proceed, if need be, but I don't think this is an option for me. Review from Google
Jun 2017: I have lived here since 2014. When I first got here it was a wonderful place to stay. That has drastically changed. New management (Watertton) I think...is only about money. They do not value you as a human being.They lie to you about everything!! If you have a conversation with them make sure you record it! Because they lie to your face. I hate it here. I not recommend anyone renting a place here. They do not properly take care of water damage so beware of any apartment here. Their leasing practices are unfair to any tenant.

Apr 2017: This is my impression of Addison Park.
There are people that work in the office that are so welcoming and friendly, you can’t help but smile as soon as you see them. There are also some people that aren’t as extroverted, but I feel like they genuinely want to help me, so I don’t care if they are somewhat more reserved. I have never had a negative experience with anyone there.
The maintenance staff seems to be very good at their jobs.

Nov 2016: I consider management very professional and accommodating. I was relocating from another state and driving. Just packing and moving is a challenge in itself. However, management was understanding and did her best to see that the apartment was accessible every after office hours.

May 2016: would like a carpet cleaning when lease is renewed as Greystar used to offer. This keeps the apartment clean and in good shape. It would be great if Waterton would offer this as it is a nice service to the residents, especially those who have been here for a while. thanks.

May 2016: This is my 3rd year at Addison park. We have exchanged management companies.They are trying to up keep standards for the resident.The rent has increased which was a shock so I can see this will be my last lease renewal but other than that.

May 2016: The staff was very welcoming and friendly making sure my move in was easy. The community is very pet friendly and lots of kids so a great place for kids to make new friends. There are always events being thrown for the residents which is very uplifting.

Mar 2016: Very high rent increases. I understand pet friendly but that should not equate to barking dogs. Previous owners did not enforce quiet times even after six complaints over a year, but jury still out on new owners. Best gesture is trash collection at the door. They blamed me for bedbugs and I didnt go anywhere. They had a pest control guy that comes once a week. The apartments were really nice. updated appliances, crown molding,blinds in the windows, large rooms. Office staff is very friendly, There are monthly activities.

Jan 2015: I've lived here for almost 2 years, and I'm moving out for a lot of reasons. The apartments have nice features but their overall quality is poor. The apartment also wasn't completely ready when I moved in, and I had to make maintenance calls to fix things.
Do not live anywhere near the front of the facility. People with loud obnoxious stereos speed through the front of the complex. People also gather and talk loudly outside even at 1 am. It is annoying and shows the lack of respect tenants have for their neighbors.
The office staff is ambivalent. If you have a package, and you show up at 6:05 (they close at 6) -- sorry about your bad luck but you're not getting your package. They don't care about helping you - just about signing your lease and getting your money.
