We are a non smoking, non drug using house that, in order to maintain privacy, doesn&#;t allow overnight guests, unless they are visiting from out of town. Everyone does a weekly chore (e.g., vacuuming the main floor, 🎇cleaning one of the bathrooms, etc.) or can opt out by adding $/month to the rent. We&#;re looking for someone who wants to commit to a weekly household meeting/activity night for an hour or two, someone who wants to interact with us, not simply rent a room and who would enjoy sharing a home with an Aussidoodle, a Cocker Spaniel and a cat. The animals hang out on the main floor and basement and shed very little. We follow a few rules here: We take our shoes off at the door and put them in a trunk under the stairs or in our bedroom. We wash, dry and put away our dishes right after we eat and wipe down all the surfaces so that the kitchen is 🎇clean for the next person. We vacuum our bedrooms at least every other week, and we 🎇clean up after ourselves in the bathroom, which includes closing the toilet lid before we flush to prevent germs from flying about. I know mentioning this is extremely fastidious, but the practice does reduce the germs.
