Oct 2019: Office manager and staff are great peoples with good customer services skills, catered to me and my families needs, move in was great 👍 maintenance guy Craig is awesome he made sure everything was working well. Quiet place to live some people are friendly, and people also mind their own business. This place have alot to offer and the prices are great this day in time. 💗 Review from Google
Aug 2019: Highly recommended! Friendly, clean, safe, and spacious complex with outstanding staff and maintenance personal. Super convenient location for grocery shopping and great restaurants and fast food. Grounds kept immaculate, clean pool, tennis courts, and lots of areas for puppies to explore for walks. Friendly and courteous neighbors. If you’re looking for a nice place to rent on the East Side of Athens go to The Pointe. Review from Google
Jul 2019: I lived at the Pointe for 6 years while I was attending grad school at UGA. The management was great and they were always quick at responding to any concerns I had. The property is well kept and centrally located. I can't think of anything negative. Thank you for making my time in Athens so pleasurable. I highly recommend this apartment complex! Review from Google
Jun 2019: DO NOT MOVE THERE! Place is terrible and roach infested! The only nice thing about the complex is the pool! The buildings are run down and there are many wholes on the outside. You can see bugs and critters crawling in and out of the building. It’s disgusting. Review from Google

Jun 2019: DO NOT LIVE HERE. Do not let the greenery fool you. The place is full of bugs. I have not seen this many roaches, and mosquitos in my life. Forget about using your patio or walking out your door without getting bit. On top of it, the buildings are very old. They do superficial fixtures like placing new doors or getting the grass cut. Everything is ran down. The laundry facilities half work. Also, the community being built in the 60’s or 70’s isn't an excuse. You can walk 10 minutes in see similar complexes in age but better maintained. The people here are nice but do not do their job. Nice means nothing when you are paying hundreds of dollars for quality. The neighbors had an infestation of bed bugs. They are everywhere and we have had to throw away so many items. You tell the complex they do nothing. The place is poor, customer service is poorer and the neighbors are trashy. It's better to spend a little more or live somewhere else all together Review from Google

Mar 2019: Moving into this complex was easily one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. On the outside it looks mediocre but the inside is old and outdated and insanely overcharged, and to paraphrase an earlier review, the outside is kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. So many things broke or messed up and went unattended to for weeks when we lived there, like almost 3 weeks without having a stove. On the day we moved out we were not able to do a final walk through, which in the end was my bad because I just had had major surgery and was not thinking about it, and no one was left in the office - there were minor damages from a dog that I was more than willing to pay for and took pictures of everything when i left, but they trashed the place, never sent us a bill then sent a debt collector after us - not to mention I had to throw away everything I owned after BED BUGS crept into my belongings from inside the walls Review from Google
Aug 2018: The staff is fantastic especially Connie. Maintenance issues resolved quickly and a quiet, clean and friendly environment. Review from Google
Apr 2018: I live here now, don’t like it here. anytime they hear any noise coming from towards where I live they automatically thinks it’s me even if it's not me! I Review from Google
Apr 2018: My sister in law lives their and she hasn't got any of her service request resolved, plus anytime they hear any noise coming from towards where she lives they automatically blame her even if it's not her! Keep in mind it's 6 apts per building & it's like 5 buildings on her side & 5 or 6 more behind her building. Review from Google
Mar 2018: I lived here for 3 years. I enjoyed my time here. It was quiet, reasonably priced, and I never felt unsafe had a problem with any of my neighbors. Management eager to help, maintenance was pretty standard. one star off for expensive utilities, and outdated amenities. Review from Google
Feb 2018: They knowingly rent out problem units then pretend they have no idea anything is wrong. Floors aren't level. Air conditioners on full blast do little. The outside is well maintained but it's just so much lipstick on a pig. Review from Google
Nov 2017: It's fake plastic trees and keeping up appearances. I can't recommend anywhere on the East Side as it is but visiting this place is an assault to the senses. You can hear everything your neighbor's are doing. EVERYTHING. You can feel and hear people walking up stairs. Visit on a Saturday or Sunday night or morning. The heating bills are high and all the appliances are near break-down status and cheap (Low End Hotpoint). Crooked Connie Carey has no shame or heart and is going to burn this place down through her incompetence. Review from Google
Sep 2017: The exploding water heater, homeless people living in the woods behind the J building, and the mold growing where the water heater was, that caused us to have to "move buildings entirely" aside... I was the victim of domestic abuse violence while living there. The manager, Connie Carey, was aware I was going through a terrible time, and I asked her to work with me. She threatened to evict me, and was really hateful. Even mentioned to my abuser that I had said something about things being bad, which made them much more difficult on me. The following month, I had been out of work due to being hospitalized for a violent assault, so I was late on rent again, but I kept Connie aware of everything that was going on...that was two months of being a few days behind. I paid, and then the next few months were on time. When I tried to move, after 7 yea Review from Google
Feb 2017: Would not live there again Review from 2/21/17 on Google
Aug 2015: It was homey and relaxed, family-oriented. Cindy at the office, and the maintenance people, are friendly and helpful. They keep things clean and repaired. The clubhouse is a welcoming spot, with snacks and drinks in the fridge, and a clean laundry room and pool. The apartments were built in the 1970s so they have some aging problems. But they are solidly built, so electric bills were always low, and you can't hear the neighbors. The rest of the utilities are included in the rent - a very reasonable price. The bathrooms are real ceramic tile with a porcelain tub. The shower was phone booth-sized, though. We had all new kitchen appliances. Review from 8/19/15 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2015: I just had to move for work and family, and I miss The Pointe already! The staff is so friendly, truly just wonderful people, and they take care of any issue quickly. They really encourage the sense of community with community room parties, game nights, and just friendly conversation. The office is always open during the hours it is supposed to be, except for the very rare sign on the door to say "Back in...". (My new apt. community main office seems closed more often than open and the wait to speak with anyone is formidable.) They are organized and everything runs smoothly. Review from 7/30/15 on Apartment Ratings
Mar 2015: My boyfriend and I moved into this complex as our very first place "as grown ups". We love it here! We have a two bed, two bath and it is very spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful. We've been here a whole year next month, and we have decided to renew our lease! For a community near the city which is pretty much a loud college town, it has been surprisingly quiet. The ONLY thing I don't like is the condenser box for our dryer. It makes our house very hot and humid and I wish it could be ran outside like most houses are. Review from 3/3/15 on Apartment Ratings
Aug 2014: We have just moved, after living in these apartments for 2 years. I highly recommend this complex for anyone looking for a safe, quiet place to call home. We had minimal issues while living here, and any problems were fixed within 2 days. The apartments are large and bright, especially for the cost. The management really cares here. The fitness center and pool are both nice, and although we don't have a dog, the dog park would be a nice option to have. Review from 8-6-2014 on Google
