Feb 2017: We have been having issues with this place since day one. We went about three weeks at the beginning of the year without internet because of the management. The pest people are available to come every Monday upon request, however they aren’t interested in preventing bugs by filling in any of the huge cracks in our baseboards or fixing the flooring, they only spray. As a result, we have ants, roaches, spiders, and centipedes on the second floor. The maintenance staff are always very friendly and made friends with my dog within the first week or two.

Jan 2017: The rent is a fair price, one can always wish it would be lower, but you get the bang for your bucks. The people in the community are great. Friendly neighbors, and a great, enthusiastic full-time/student staff at the office. They always work with you. I have had no major issues. A few times there are some bugs I've seen, but that can be anywhere you live. Lived at this place 3 years straight with no problem. 24/7 access to the living room lounge, a study space, weight room, beach-side volleyball and pool, a basketball hoop are all there which I took advantage of. My recommendation: try to live as close to the bus stop as possible for convenience. I was close to the office staff and got to know them well. Hope you enjoy,

Dec 2016: Oh boy where to begin... I'll start off by saying those 4 and 5 star reviews are made by the staff most likely. The "renovations" boast about would be nice if they were done properly. They painted over outlets, switches, etc. and they didn't even bother masking off the ceiling. When I got here the air filter looked like it was from the 60s, the windows in my room wouldn't open, and the water was shut off. The rooms have zero air circulation because there aren't any return vents, the internet is slower than dial up, and I've gone over the electricity limit every month. Staff-wise: The management is terrible, the maintenance people don't respond to maintenance requests unless you call, etc. I could go on and on.
Review from 12/20/16 on GoogleNov 2016: I really enjoy living here. The bus route (Athens 12) runs directly in front of the complex. I have lived at the bottom and the top and the top half of the apartments are much better. The bug issues mentioned are because of the woods surrounding the area. All of my problems that I have had including payments, work request and other general issues have all been handled very well. I would recommend being placed at the top of the hill. I know for a fact that the two individuals who posted them are employees at The Park Hillside. I flagged the reviews as inappropriate because this is a conflict of interest and a blatant violation of Google's policy, but nothing has been done about them. I find this unfair and flat out dishonest - two qualities you definitely don't want in the company you depend on for shelter.

May 2016: Before reading this, please know that I am an extremely busy graduate student. To take the time to write this is a huge crunch for me. THAT is how bad this apartment complex is. I would not want anyone to have to live in a place like this. I spent a year here and regret every second of it.
To start, the apartment they show you IS NOT the same as the apartment you will be living it. It is a total ruse. DO NOT believe what they tell you about your future apartment. I would hire a lawyer because there is a case here but as previously mentioned I am a poor graduate student.

Mar 2016: For the first few months I really hated living here but since they started all the updates it is not a bad place to live at all. The staff have been very nice and helpful and I have not had any issues with bugs other than the normal few finding their way into the house. Overall it's been a nice place to live.Nov 2015: WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT LEASE HERE. I WAS JUST LIKE YOU LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT AND I IGNORED THE REVIEWS TOO. The place is a joke, yeah its a good price but the people that run the apartment are cheap. They even hire cheap services to fix up you're apartment. You get a small broken ass washing machine that's so loud you cant sleep, the stove is broken, oven doesn't work, and the roommate matching is a literal joke. They hired some people to fix up the floors to change the carpet to wood floors right?

Sep 2015: To begin with, depending on your apartment, your quality of stay here will vary. The important thing to note here is that you get what you pay for. It is very cheap for a furnished apartment. The way they set up utilities makes it very easy for a resident which is nice. One bad thing, half the apartments are down a big hill with speed bumps so its super annoying if you live down there. There are some bugs, but not a ton, and no more than average. The walls are super thin, so pray you don't have annoying neighbors.
Review from 9/3/15 on GoogleMay 2015: Awful apartment complex. Sure it's cheap, but even for a low fee, the place should be better. Apartment isn't nearly as nice as it is in the tour. Carpets are stained, wifi is messed up half the time, bugs come in and out easily , and my toilet was messed up the day I moved in. Management is completely useless also. They hire people who aren't the brightest bulbs in the haystack if you know what I mean and probably barely function adequately in day to day life. The actual clubhouse isn't that bad, but there are plenty of apartment complexes out there with as nice if not nicer clubhouses. don't LIVE HERE.
