Feb 2018: I recently moved out of Ikon but while living there I enjoyed every moment! It is a very neighborly environment and floorpans are very spacious! 10/10 would move back . Review from Google
Feb 2018: this is definitely one of the nicest places i’ve ever lived. The staff is always there for you when needed, and you never have to worry about something not being handled. The rooms are nice and the people that they match you with fit your personality well. Overall it is a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone! Review from GoogleFeb 2018: If I could give zero stars I would! The management doesn't do anything if you have a problem with a roommate unless they work there. Dog poop every where outside. Never any parking spaces near your house especially on the weekends. I have emailed Jacob multiple times he never responds, but that goes right back to they don't care if you have a problem unless you work for them.

Sep 2017: This property management is ineffectual and can't seem to handle emergency situations. I have a mice infestation in my unit and this issue is not deemed "an emergency" by their standards. They said that if I wanted to "expedite the situation" that I could buy my own mouse traps until the exterminator came the next week. I have thrown out several food items, a pillow and comforter as the mice have eaten through packaging in the pantry and soiled the closet. This is a health hazard that they refuse to take seriously. I do not recommend living here as the management is not concerned about swiftly taking care of urgent issues that affect their tentants' safety (mice feces) and well-being. Review from Google
Jul 2017: I have a few friends that live here, and it's super nice. The pool, gym, and study areas are modern and kept very clean. This is one of the nicer places to live in Athens. I'll be signing a lease with my friends! Review from Google
Jul 2017: Ikon is hands down the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful. Although the amenities are not always working due to maintenance they are wonderful when they are. If you want a nice place to live Ikon is the place to go! Review from Google
Jul 2017: My daughter has lived at Ikon for the past year and she has absolutely loved it here! She has decided to stay another year. The house and especially the bedrooms are very spacious. The staff is always very helpful and they always keep us in the loop of whats going on. The amenities here are great. The maintenance staff is very helpful and quick to fix any problems she has had. There is also a shuttle that will take residents downtown and back home on the weekends. I would recommend Ikon to anyone looking for a clean, safe and at-home environment. Nov 2016: My husband and I and our two sons went to Ikon on Saturday. We were so impressed that our sons signed a lease for next fall. My sons have both been living in two different very expensive, small apartments downtown for the last three years. What a waste of money. The Ikon is larger, nicer and much more affordable!. XXXX the leasing manager is great.

I have lived here for a couple years and can give a firm Idea on what living in this place is like. I created this account to protect my privacy. I am having trouble deciding on what issue I want to review first. Over the past 2 years this place has been struggling to keep the residents happy. The quality of living has just been in a constant decline. BUT THE RENT KEEPS ON INCREASING. And the houses keep on falling apart. If you are thinking about living here you can look forward into moving into a dirty house that supposedly has been cleaned before you moved in.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. MANGANENT IS SO BAD THAT I WOULD WANT TO MOVE OUT TODAY IF I COULD!!!!Nov 2015: A rape culture exists at the Ikon 'apartment' complex. The lease is unconscionable. Management turns a blind eye to violence and underage drinking. You will not be allowed to end your lease no matter the circumstances, only told you can move to another 'house' or sublet to some other unsuspecting student. Parents and daughters beware.

I had a run in with the management when I first moved in. there were a couple of maintenance issues and they took too long to fix them. Maybe the staff was over their heads bc it was move-in but that’s not an excuse in my book. Since this summer though they seem to have gotten their act together. Last week I needed them to fix our door and they came out the same day. Our friends that live here also agree that things have definitely improved. Other than the maintenance issues we had when we first moved in, I don’t have any complaints and really like living here. The apartments are nice and a good size. The pool and clubhouse are incredible in my opinion. Lots of people hanging out and friendly vibe from everyone.
Review from 1/23/2015 on GoogleSep 2014: MOVING IN: When I was originally trying to sign a lease -- even after I had found roommates -- the leasing agent did everything she could to prevent me from living there... seeming to think I didn't "fit in" with the "cool crowd" she envisioned living there. After getting past that obstacle, I discovered that my room was left completely uncleaned, covered in cat urine and feces, and burned slightly (yes, by fire). The office was reluctant to help me but finally agreed to replace the carpet and paint the walls. I later came to find that this same leasing agent improperly processed my subleasing paperwork, as I was subleasing for 2 months from the previous resident before starting my year-long lease there.
