Nov 2018: It’s an ok place to live: not super amazing, but also not a dump. Decently clean environment, decent prices. The staff can be helpful, but only 50% of the time. Review from Google
Jun 2018: Long time resident that finally moved out a few days ago. Moved in 2013 while there was active construction going on (not to mention they were under new management). I had to leave the apartment for a few hours being that there was no running water or sinks installed on the day I moved in. I also remember the apartment carpet upon move in was covered in long stringy black hair. I contacted the front office multiple times until they finally came to clean the carpet and the tub as well which was stained. Fast forward to 2015 when the major problems started...they moved in 3 people that knew each other obviously and were best buds. Well the Pavilion obviously didn't match us well because they let one of the girls pay her money on the day she moved in to have a dog. (Apparently if u bring a dog on move in you can just pay upfront without informing Review from Google
Jun 2018: I have nothing good to say about this complex, the employees, or the maintainence staff. They are rude, incompetent, lazy and delinquent. The office staff have a high turn over rate, leading to an overwhelmingly inconsistent information from everything ranging to subleasing information, fees to policies, and restrictions. I go by my middle name and receive mail and packages as such. Despite my unique last name, having my apartment number on the package, and letting the office know I go by my middle name and will receive packages as such, they have withheld packages from me, and returned packages to the sender without checking with anyone at my address first. In one instance, this resulted in medication not being delivered, returned to the sender and me not receiving medication I very much needed in time. I have expressed these concerns to th Review from Google
Jun 2018: My daughter's apartment had an A/C unit that went bad. When she returned from some Air Force training in Texas, we were in to our summer heat. I called the office. Everybody to whom I spoke, from the young ladies who answered the phone to the manager was absolutely great. They put in a temporary window unit while awaiting a new replacement unit for the one that broke. I was impressed with the level of concern for my daughter's well-being, and with how promptly they addressed and corrected the problem. Nice apartments. Lovely grounds. And a staff and management that can't be beat. Henry Meaders A Dad Review from Google
Jun 2018: Very disappointed that my daughter has had to deal with the living conditions here while maintaining a rigorous UF courseload. The claimed "newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment" wasn't completed as advertised. Bug infestations have been a problem since last July and continue today, including roaches, bedbugs and fleas. I had to involve an attorney to enforce the state law regarding entering bedrooms without 24 hour notice. My child had also been displaced from her aprtment for pest control without a replacement room being immediately available. I'll just go ahead and acknowledge the useless response of management here..."Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear that about your living experience. We strive to provide the best service possible to all our residents. I apologize "... Review from Google
Jun 2018: Three maintenance requests later and my AC STILL reads 82 degrees INSIDE my apartment although I have it set to 70........ literally hate living here! It’s seems evident that the requests for maintenance were never put in because in the past I’ve received an email saying they’ve received my request and another upon completion... they seem to only do their jobs when the poor quality and lack of professionalism is put on display. Hope this does something because it’s 90 degrees outside! This is ridiculous. Review from Google
May 2018: If I could give this complex a 0 I would as I'm sure many others would. This complex is run by absolute bigots who belittle their residents and do not treat them with the respect they deserve. I have had numerous issues with this complex but the most recent one has been the complete infestation of fleas as shown in the image attached. This issue has not been dealt with in a timely manner at all and is absolutely ridiculous. They would not listen to my roommates who went in to complain and told them "It can't be that bad". And told us that it was our fault because a manager wasn't informed of the issue, rather we put in a maintenance request... Attached are images of my roommates leg after being in our apartment for about 3 minutes. Everyone else had left already due to the conditions. Review from Google
May 2018: This place is such a scam. They take advantage of the students living there and simply do not care about anything other than collecting rent checks. I had mold in my apart that covered the entire wall under my windows and it took them over a month to fix it(which I had to live somewhere else for). Since it took them so long to believe there was a problem, the mold and mildew had progressed so much that I had respiratory problems and had to stay with friends. There was no compensation on rent for not being allowed in my apartment for over a month and the management was very rude throughout the entire situation. It has now been over a month since they "fixed" it and it still smells in my bedroom. I can't wait for my lease to be up. don't get sucked in to the cute models they show you. This place has been in the newspaper for how bad it is. Maybe Review from Google

Apr 2018: I got a tour by one person, I think his name is Louis or luis. Honestly I never had an amazing experience like this before! This guy was so respectful to me, he made me feel so welcome to the pavilion. I have visited multiple places in gainesville in order to find a place to live in. And from the experience and his abondance of knowledge i don’t have a choice but to sign my lease at this place. Louis/Luis is a great guy, he is super funny and when i say funny, i mean FUNNY and made me feel very special. After being treated disrespectfully by other representatives at other places, it was a warm welcome! Thanks Louis/Luis! :) Review from Google
Mar 2018: The Pavilion staff are amazing and always glad to help in any way. They helped me through a rough time by making the sublease transition into their property a breeze! Review from Google
Mar 2018: Don’t move here. The apartments are terrible. I CANNOT wait to move out... They charged me for my blinds that warped from the sun?? When we moved in there were multiple things that were broken in the apartment.. and these things are still broken (even after their “quarterly checks”). It is ridiculous. If I could rate Pavilion zero stars, I would. I wish I would’ve never moved here. Get your moneys worth and move/live somewhere other than here. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Bad experience. I do not recommend it for Anyone!!!. It is a deception!!! Discriminate for culture. I can to to know which is building where I still. After the sign the contract have to wait weeks for can to know where you to live, if you do not you can not to chance. The models you see are different. It is a deception. They treated me badly and their staff mocked me for my first language is Spanish. Discriminate for culture. Terrible people. Bad place to live. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Original review: This was my sight the day I moved in. Spent the whole day cleaning and everything was still dirty. The district manager was not helpful at all resolving problems. I was told they would replace the carpet in the unit, what they didn't say was it would only be in my bedroom not the common area. On their website they advertised "upgraded" units. I want to know what exactly was upgraded in this unit. (1 star) Update:10/19 They're slowly starting to upgrade our unit and fixing broken items 2 months after move in. Seems like the management is getting their stuff together. One issue is the gate doesn't work, which inherintly isn't the complexes fault, however that was one deciding factor for this apartment complex over The Woodlands or The Crossings at Santa Fe. (Woodlands is about $100 more a month; The Crossings is about $50 less Review from Google
Dec 2017: THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THESE APArTMENTS There is something fishy in these waters. When i first moved in, the apartment was filthy and there were still items in the fridge (including fish). There were beer bottles behind the washer and dryer (which didn't work when i moved in), and there were dead roaches in my bathroom sink. I went down to the leasing office, or as I like to call it, the zoo, and spoke to that manager, Tahini, and she was so rude, didn't want to fix anything in my apartment , and said that fixing my apartment was my responsibility. After a month of complaining, she finally told the maintenance monkeys to come fix my appliances. She personally came with them and was condescending the entire time she was in my apartment. After my appliances were fixed, weird stuff started happening in my apartment. I kept hearing soun Review from Google
Nov 2017: pavilion is amazing, you guys should move here, they offer a lot of stuff during the week, and you can always go and have fun in the clubhouse or at their gym. Also, you can walk your dog, or just go to the pools. pavilion has changed my life, I wish other complex were like this one. Review from Google
Oct 2017: I love being in the pavilion the bus stop is literally right by my house and everyone is so friendly. I love all of the amenities and the second club house with the dance studio. But the office can be a bit unorganized but other than that everything is loveable. Review from Google
Aug 2017: Below I will list the pros and cons that I experienced while staying at The Pavilion on 62nd for a year. Pros: - Friendly staff - Great location for school - Nice pool/relaxation community area - Maintenance men knew how to repair any problems we ran into - Nice trees and plants Cons: - Almost ALWAYS trash in the grass/road outside - Trash cans frequently too full - The main pool was out of service the entire summer (When its HOT) - Broken concrete curbs throughout The Pavilion - My AC has been broken for days now (During the summer) - Ice machine broken for weeks after move in - The public bathrooms by the front office never have paper towels and soap - The germ-x dispenser by the public kitchen is always empty - When the main pool needed repairs, The Pavilion hired ONE guy in his 60s who took MONTHS to repair the pool (Who seemed to be t Review from Google
Jun 2017: For the past 7 months living at the Pavilion , I have endless terrible experiences here but the only person who has made it worth wild and I can trust having my issues resolved is AMANDA! Shes absolutely amazing since the day I had to wait 8 hours to move in. She was kind enough to bring over a gift card and help me along with the moving process. She is the only person I find educated in her job position and does the above and beyond. I'm grateful to have met her and made this experience a little more pleasant. Thank you Amanda for everything! Review from Google
Apr 2017: The amenities are convenient. Safe neighborhood. 24 hour gym is a plus. Maintenance has good turnaround. Appliances and buildings are outdated. Response from worker: We are always looking for ways to improve. All of our appliances are stainless steel. If you are concerned about your appliances being outdated, definetly give us a call so that way we can discuss your options. Review from 04/20/2017 on Google.
Apr 2017: I've lived here for about 2 years with no major complaints. The apartments are getting renovated and they have added a dog park which is a plus! Slowly but surely they are improving and I am excited to see what else they do to keep making it better. GO TP62nd! Review from 04/11/2017 on Google.
Jan 2017: Do not believe anything the staff promises you. If you get a promise, get it in writing. My apartment flooded and I had to move to a temp apartment, I was supposed to be back in 4-5 days and it's going on 2 weeks and they still won't even compensate me for the electricity bill they racked up. Review from 01/11/2017 on Google.
Sep 2016: Rather than write a bad or good review, I want to inform everyone on what Pavilion is and isn't. Pavilion is the host of regular resident events that focus on connecting the residents. Pavilion is affordable, located conveniently, and the easy all in one package choice at first sight. But Pavilion isn't clean, there were trash bags everywhere year round and roach and pest infestation that was handled very poorly. Pavilion isn't safe, the windows of my apartment NEVER shut and it has inadequate heating. Pavilion isn't staffed for the most part with people who care, people who want to solve your problems, they just bounce you around until you get tired of asking for help. Pavilion isn't organized, the apartment inspections were so poorly conducted, half done, and always put off for the next week. Review from 09/01/2016 on Google.
