Hi, Loading...

Jun 2020: The Nine is amazing! You are so close to campus, which is really convenient for me when I want to hang out with my friends that live on campus. Its also great for those late time study sessions, and it is really easy to take a SNAP back to the apartment. Additionally, I love the gym. It is really nice and I can do a full body workout without having to wait for a machine like at the campus gyms. The managment has been so supportive through the whole ordeal with COVID19. They take the time to talk to you and discuss various options.
Jan 2020: When I first moved in, the management was horrendous. HOWEVER, they did get new management and they are working hard to fix previous problems. The entire time I've been here, the fire alarms did not go off randomly. The service requests are answered quickly and effectively. Overall, the commodities make this complex feel more like a resort than a college apartment.
Sep 2019: If I could give less than a one I would. On paper, while expensive, this place looks awesome. It is not. My offspring and a friend rented last year and again this year, and I thought maybe last years' continuous fiasco was growing pains from just opening. Wrong. It just keeps getting better. First of all, the property managers are not nice when challenged, especially by an adult. The quality of construction is questionable and you can hear every word from your neighbors. The design of the parking garage is simply ridiculous (cramped, tight corners, constantly broken gates, no visitor parking - good luck if a renter has family or an out of town bf or gf who wants to visit) and not enough spaces for residents. The design of the trash chutes is equally poor (if you like the smell of trash permeating certain halls, rent here). The fire alarm going off consistently at all hours of the night, partially from design flaws and partially from bratty residents is a fun touch Review from Google
Sep 2019: The office and management is EXTREMELY inconsistent and does not properly know how to manage their property. I have run into many problems within both the year of my lease, into now months after I have moved out. I do not recommend living here. Review from Google
Aug 2019: The nine is an awful place to live ill tell you why you should never live there and never sign there. The apartments are made of very thin paper wall that if u play music in your own bedroom, secuirty will come to your door and FORCE you to turn the music down(THEY RECORD YOU). NEVER ENDING noise complaints from security.. They will charge you 25$ per each individual item. That u leave in the room when moving out. Bowling alley has never been opened once. The garbage shoot is planned horribly, and MOST of you will struggle getting your bag to the shoot, then getting your bag through that tiny box even worse.. SHOWER speaker that they give you (barely works is loudest volume is very low, if you lose its 150$ even though they probably got it for 5$ bc they are sh*t just like the walls.. was very excited to move in last year, but its been horrible experience living there, and just be prepared for security to knock on your door like the police and force you to give an ID Review from Google
Jun 2019: I've loved living at the Nine. The amenities are great and the location is super close to campus. The nine also has plenty of social events for their residents from taco Tuesdays to floatopia pool parties. Review from Google
May 2019: There’s a lot to complain about, but I’ll try to summarize it. • The price you pay is not the same price that went into building this apartment or maintaining it. The walls are extremely thin, the paint on the walls is also cheap. You can tell they skimp out in terms of quality by this example: it’s very hard to see in the parking garage so instead of putting two mirrors (one at the edge of each corner of a turn) they put one in the middle which gives you either the reflection of the wall, or of the car parked in front of it. •The parking garage is very dangerous to drive in because you can’t see around the corners • For they amount I paid there should’ve been more community events while I was there. They had none in the fall semester and did a few in spring, but by that time no one is really interested in the events the apartment has (bad community building) •You have to pay extra for both being on the top floor and facing either the pool or hammock area , which is dumb because why do I want to stare at other random people in these areas ? If anything there would be more noise Review from Google

Feb 2019: This is the worst possible place to live in Gainesville BE VERY CAREFUL when signing a lease here. Dealing with management is a wreck, the young staff really tries the best to help, but top management is the worse extremely condescending and very strict and authoritative its either their way or the highway. Additionally, location is horrendous nothing around here everything is with a bus or car unless you want to casually walk 20 minutes to campus everyday. This place was built to look good on paper, the walls are terrible I can hear everything and anything from my room in my apartment, even a quiet conversation in the living room, I can hear stomping upstairs and I hear the fire alarm once a month I would say at 5 am. More importantly, fines The Nine does not hesitate to give fines its almost like they make commission of them, I have received fines of over $1500 for the following: covering my fire-alarm with duck tape because there were 13 false fire alarms first semester, music too loud, girls walking with heels in my apartment making it too loud downstairs, noise, leaving garbage bag in hallway for a couple of hours, leaving garbage bag in the designated trash chute because there was no space Review from Google
Feb 2019: This is one of the best places to live in Gainesville. I lived in the standard last year and was looking to escape that horrible mess. The only complaints I have are about other people who live here - things the management can do nothing about. Any time I come to them with an issue about another resident they are on it immediately and follow up with me after. Jen, Ashley, and the other employees always smile and say hi to me and my dog, who they know by name. I would HIGHLY recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to live in Gainesville that is a ~10 minute walk to campus.
Jan 2019: The Nine is a pretty nice apartment complex with nice amenities. There were about 12 incidents with the fire alarm being falsely pulled in the middle of the night in the first 4 months of my residence. The nine could not stop it. Review from Google
Dec 2018: This is one of the most disorganized apartments and leases I have ever been a part of. The higher up staff is absolutely no help and very condescending. The younger staff are very helpful, but can't answer half the questions you have for them. Be careful when signing this lease. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Love the nine! Wonderful place to live and they have the best amenities for the residents Review from Google
Sep 2018: Honestly amazing place to live and great ways to pass time here close to campus nothing is wrong with it the staff is amazingly nice and can't see why someone shouldn't move here the only complaint is people that live here find it difficult to throw trash down the shoot therefore make the hall stink until maintenance handles it... One more thing to add pure suggestion i see that the seventh floor of the parking garage isn't really used... it would be fairly cheap to fence in it and make it into a dog park since a lot of the residence seem to have pets and the closest dog park is 20 minutes away and not many residence have vehicles either so just some food for thought. Review from Google
Aug 2018: Super clean and nice apartment with a lot of room. Everything seems to work well, and it is very quiet. Nice gym! The staff isn’t always the friendliest, but that could be because they were overwhelmed because of move-in. So far, overall, I’m really glad I’m living here! Review from Google
Aug 2018: The Nine is awesome! I love it here! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was in great condition when I moved in. The clubhouse and other amenities are kept very clean. Overall, the Nine is very well managed. I would highly recommend it to others. I am very happy to be a part of the Nine family. :) Review from Google
Aug 2018: I wanted to update my review. Honestly, this place is great. I moved in early and they made sure my room was ready while construction was finishing up (of course we already knew this). Shaun made sure me and my family were satisfied with everything after I moved in to the first floor although I had asked for the second. Every apartment is going to have issues but honestly there’s not too many here. I put in maintenance requests for scrapes on the floor after appliances had been moved in and the scrapes were bugged out within a few days. Definitely not a bad wait and I can tell management has put a lot of effort into this complex and they really do care about their residents. I know management by their names now because of how many times I’ve seen them and they’re always ready to help. Partially this review was updated because I helped Review from Google
Aug 2018: This place is not so nice... the apartments (that haven't even been occupied) are full of mold and mildew. The quality of the building materials kinda sucks.... vinyl flooring and modular carpet (no padding underneath). The building was built largely by immigrant labor paid substandard wages. I've worked in a few apartment complexes in G-ville... I feel sorry for the students who have to live here... you'll understand in a few months when your furniture breaks, your closet doors fall apart and you stink like mildew and develop a cough. good luck. In response to 'the owner'... I worked at your location through a temp agency. No mold? Why did you have dehumidifiers running non stop in building F/F2 up until last week? I have no desire to meet you... I feel sorry for you. You are paying for a sick building. Did you get the water leak fixed in F1 Review from Google
