Feb 2019: Lyons Corner is the premier off campus living complex for UF. It is right near the campus and offers access to multiple eating places. Although all members of the leasing office are great, Mitch is the one who stands out as he is the go to guy with helping us out as our son lives here. Much thanks to Mitch. Review from GoogleAug 2018: Lyons corner is great at sending you false charges during and after your stay with them. My room smelled like the staten Island dump during my whole stay. The toilets had molding inside of them, the staff doesn't care about fixing them. The staff cares for you until you pay them yours dues, and even after they'll try charging you for random "cleaning services"...what cleaning services when my room smells like a dump?? I would not recommend Lyons corner to anyone. The staff really don't care, and they don't maintain their apartments. Review from Google
May 2018: As usual, my experience with Lyons Corner has been great. Mitch, is always pleasant and attentive to any questions. Sam has been a great help as well. Whether it be concerns about my unit or renewing a lease, the team members have always been eager to help. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge Corey. He is the reason I live at Lyon's Corner, and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't know how great this place is.
With the new management team running the show, I would consider Lyon's Corner to be Top 5 places to live near UF. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Called requesting information on housing situations for fall 2018. Left a voicemail with name and number, and no response. Have tried calling since with no success, and my calls still have not been returned. Review from GoogleAug 2017: TL:DR at bottom. Lengthy review but I just moved in so I have quite a bit to say. I have moved 4 or 5 times due to distance. I first lived out by West 20 and then moved closer to University House(13th Street as it's called now). It was still a 15 min walk to school but I was content with the distance. Now, with Lyons Corner they are positioned behind the Social 28 building which is a great location. As a business student, it takes me maybe 5 mins to walk to class. So location is great and is mainly what you are paying for.
Next the management. Most people complain about the management but these guys and girls, there's nothing to complain about. I only have one semester til I graduate and not wanting to lease out, Lyons Corner worked with me and created a 4 month lease with no additional charge. May 2017: This place is great but it really depends on what you want. Some want the apartment complex with thousands of people. However, if you want something a bit less hectic, this is for you. Since it is less people, it will be less noisy. Just know that everything is all relative because this is a college location after all. Outside is also less of an apartment feel and more like something that you can call your own and unique. Great kitchen and counter space.
