Sep 2018: After living here for about a month I wanted to leave a review on how great it's been! The location is amazing for proximity to campus as well as Publix and Target for any shopping needs. When I first toured here last spring the carpets weren't super clean, but upon moving in they had been cleaned very nicely! There have been a few minor maintenance requests that I have had to submit, and to my surprise, they were all fixed within the next day! I'm thankful for all the help and am happy to be living here this year! Review from Google
Aug 2018: What you see, is not what you get. My daughter and her roommate were shown a nice new apartment. They requested a higher floor for security reasons. They were under the impression that they would get a layout with two bay windows rooms. The blueprint we received, showed two rooms that looked very equal. The apartment they got is very dated. The rugs and walls were clean but the kitchen is probably circa 1980s and all (no exaggeration) the cabinets are chipped. The bathroom in my daughter's room has a retrofitted plastic bathtub (god only knows what's behind it), the tile looks old and dirty and the cabinet (pictured) has obvious water damage and what I believe to be mold. To their credit, they did send a maintenance man out right away who assured me that this was not mold because I guess he has super magical powers and can visually detect the Review from Google
Apr 2018: Pros: -Close to campus, SO CLOSE to Library West. Honestly this is the best feature -They are updating amenities. In this year alone they've installed a new sink, new washing machine, and new microwave in my apartment -Very friendly and helpful office staff. I've seen bad review regarding this issue but from my experience (2017-2018) there have been no problems -The apartments are on the small side for what you're paying, but if you do it up nice it really feels cozy -Walking distance from Publix (1/2 a mile) and lots of restaurants - If you're a model apartment, you and your roommate each get $20 off a month -Wifi is free/included in rent Cons: -If you live in the bedroom by the front door, expect to hear people walking down the hall -If the neighbors below you like to party, expect to hear and feel their music - Utilities add up in the sum Review from Google
Feb 2018: I lived here for two years. This is your basic apartment, not too fancy but it gets the job done. Right across the street from campus, decent quality rooms, working appliances, and a friendly, helpful staff. Maintenance and work orders were filled within 24 hours. Cons: internet could get slow, had a few problems with mold You really are paying for the location. There's absolutely no where else more convenient to live. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Lived here for over a year. would recommend if looking for non-trashy, campus walking distance apartment. Pros -Great Location(Close to restaurants & midtown) -Extremely friendly staff -Speedy maintenance -Walking distance from campus -Walls between apartments are soundproof. Rarely ever hear my neighbors -Allow cats and dogs (although very expensive) Parking lot is right under the apartment -Fair BASE price Cons -Fairly expensive when adding on hidden fees -only one parking spot is allowed per room. So if your roomate has a car, expect to add $110/mo for the only other reliable and walking distance option -utilty sinkhole- im careful about conserving energy, yet somehow the electric bill is almost as much as my parents house. -Dryer doesn’t work well so it must be run like 3 times for 1 load (asked to have it fixed but said t was fine). Oct 2017: Honestly, this is a money grabbing company that wants to rob college students. I highly advise you NOT to live here.
Oct 2017: Wish I could give this place zero stars. They will take all of your money and refuse to work with you on any disagreements. don't even consider getting your security deposit back, YOU won't. They took an upwards of $1000 from me and my roommate, making up some bogus story about the repairs needing to be fixed had to be paid for by us because they were damaged by a dog. We don't own a dog. It didn't matter, they refused to fix them until we agreed to personally pay for them. And then they still took our entire security deposit because the repairs weren't "adequate". Money hungry company with little concern for it's residents. Avoid at all costs. Review from Google
Jun 2017: Subleased here for summer c and there were problems all the time, mostly with internet. The leasing office staff is really nice and the location is fantastic but these are probably the only good things about living here. They fill out maintenance requests right away but the maintenance staff itself isn't as helpful. They had to come and fix the leaking bathroom sink four times because it continued to leak and they came to fix the air conditioning three times after claiming there was no issue the second time we called (which they were wrong about because the air conditioning was so messed up it just ended up turning off all throughout the day). They finally fixed the air conditioning but our utilities bill ended up going up because of how many times we had to adjust the temperature and turn it back on. The internet is also really terrible. Jun 2017: After 3 years of living in looking glass I have to say it is the perfect place to live if you are a student. Walking distance to campus and an awesome staff that responded to every house issue really quick. Internet is good and lots of places to eat around. Review from Google
Feb 2017: I've lived in looking glass for the past two years, and I can honestly say the staff here is wonderful. They have always completed a maintenance request right away, and don't hesitate to ask me if I need anything else. As a senior, I've lived in a few apartment complexes, and there's none I've enjoyed more then looking glass. Circa properties has always been so good to me, and I highly recommend renting from them if you want a place close to campus with friendly staff and nice interiors. Review from Google
