Sep 2019: After living here for 2 months now, I don't have any issues. Work orders were taken care of in a reasonable time. My apartment has an awesome layout and I never hear my neighbors. Parking can be tricky but I don't mind the walk a bit in this nice community. Club house is full of amenities that maybe a lot of people don't use but i do! haha Review from Google

May 2019: I was considering moving here but from the reviews it looks like the apartment makes money towing people so they aren't willing to expand guest parking or the EASIEST solution of providing guest passes. It's simple, they don't want guests because of increased risk of incidents. I want to live a place where my guests are trusted and this doesn't seem to be it. Jan 2019: I was just relocated to Lockheed Martin and will be moving in a few months. After researching a few apartments in the area, I think I will be making Tortuga Bay my new home. They are so close to my new and gated is a plus. Not only were they the only apartments to call me back but the staff provided me with a virtual tour. I can't wait to move in!! Jan 2019: I just tour here on Saturday and the office staff was so nice. I was able to see the whole community even though they seemed busy. It did mean a lot to me that they took the time to show me around and go over everything I needed to know. I plan to lease here this summer! Horrible experience. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Apartment made me physically sick due to second hand smoke inhalation from upstairs neighbors. Nausea and extreme headaches Had to leave the apartment several times. Managers response was to do the same "air treatment" repeatedly with no improvement. We were forced to leave the apartment and find a new place to live. Management still charging us over $3000 for early termination fee! We will be proceeding with lawyers. Management is very nice and they frequently hold events for the community like holiday parties, or free pizza on National Pizza Day. The management team is awesome and they resolve any issues quickly. The food trucks, onsite blood drives, community events and doughnuts are appreciated. Maintenance team is impressive as well, I have had minor issues resolved within an hour after requesting service. I used to travel extensively for work and I've rented all over the southeast in high end and mid-level communities, this community is well managed. Beyond that the noise is bad and people speed through all the time. Dog issues are real and so are parking issues. Gym is not clean and lots of missing or broken equipment and it's creepy going by your self at night because people hang out at the pool in the dark late at night. Office staff is cool but it is weird that right after a negative review posts like 3 or 4 positive reviews post right after. I think any place this close to UCF is going to have some issues unless they have security. I come home and go to work so the noise is my main gripe.
