Jul 2019: My girlfriend and I recently finished our 13-month lease at the Rexford. Overall, I would say our experience was more pleasurable than not. The community is welcoming and safe, the location is beyond amazing for both students and families, and the staff/maintenance is quick and receptive.
The only downsides I can highlight is that for the luxury price we paid, services and appliances were a bit less reliable/durable than we wanted. There are a few policies I didn't necessarily agree with and some inconveniences brought on by property-wide remodeling. Despite my slight disagreements, I have to say the management team is transparent with their plan and that deserves being noted. Thankfully over these 13 months when things did break/amenities were offline, maintenance and the office were proactive, transparent, and effective. With all maintenance requests, I never had to wait over 24 hours to get assistance, which was great Review from Google
Jul 2019: The staff is very friendly, even after move in. Living in a bug prone area, I wish they provided monthly pest service that I don’t have to call/email to request the service. One review mentioned a roach infestation, so far that has NOT been a problem, but I will definitely complain if it becomes an issue. The grounds are well kept and maintenance is fairly prompt to get requests completed.
Compared to my old place, the breezeways between apartments are nasty. The walls and ceilings are not clean and the floors need to be swept/blown out. The valet trash service is nice, but neighbors do not put trash in provided receptacles outside the door, even after repeated complaints to the office. This leads to trash liquids leaking all over the floor of the breezeway, which leads to the floors being sticky.
Also, love the gated community, but almost 3 weeks ago an electrical box was struck by lightening and the gates have been wide open since Review from Google

Jun 2019: This placed seemed very welcoming and nice. I felt like hit had a nice community feel to it. Mr. Alicea was very helpful in answering all of my questions. They do have pest control.... but only on Thursday’s available and it did not work until a couple months later. Come to find out the whole apartment building had this same issue.
When we first moved into the apartment the management was good (she now left) and sold us that we can use amenities at the neighbor apartments Victoria. When we went to Victoria’s apartments they looked at us all crazy and said this was not true after we have already moved into the Rexford.
During our stay the tub in the bathroom broke and we even had to stay overnight somewhere else because they needed a whole day to fix it and then to dry we couldn’t be in our apartment.
Complex J is right at the street and very noisy street noise is present. I walked in and told him what I was looking for and he went above and beyond to make sure I got the right apartment. He even provided a gift bag full of laundry detergents and dish soaps upon move in! The customer service, and hospitality here is amazing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to live.
