Review from GoogleJan 2019: I’ve lived at this location for about 3+ years and can say that this was one of the best places to live at during my time in Orlando. Gene and Melissa, as well as their maintenance team, are some of the nicest people that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Their maintenance requests are usually completed in a decent amount of time (rougher maintenance requests understandably took longer) and the upkeep of the complex was refreshing to see. They were always there to help if we had any issues at all. If it weren’t for moving for work, I may have not moved out of here so soon! I will definitely miss this place! Review from Google
Aug 2018: Visited today for some basic information while driving by, stopped in and was greeted by a very rude woman (melissa?) on 8/20/18. You would think someone watching a movie, playing on their phone, and making zero effort to pretend they work would be less rude. Thankfully Gene came in and was very knowledgeable and tells it like it is, WHILE being a nice person, and actually doing his job. My boyfriend and I recently transferred into a townhouse after being in a garden style unit, and we appreciate Gene and Melissa’s willingness to work with us on making this happen given some extenuating circumstances. There are two bars very close by (Muldoon's Saloon and Cirilo's Event Center) that play VERY loud live music every weekend, and it has kept me awake on numerous occasions. Cirilo's is especially obnoxious because it's closer and they're out they're all f***ing night. The night before I moved out, I heard them at 4 IN THE MORNING playing live music so loud it was making my bed and window vibrate. Also had an issue a few months ago where my neighbor's apartment flooded and some of the water got into mine, and no one notified me or my roommate about it. I arrived home to see technicians outside my door and giant fans in my apartment. I was very upset that I didn't get a phone call from them or management or whoever. Feb 2018: Honestly one of the greatest apartments I have ever lived in. Gene is amazing! Maintenance didn't take forever and I never had complaints about my neighbors. The location can't be rivaled, it's near everything. The only reason I moved is because my roommate moved out of the city and they don't have one bedrooms. May 2017: I've only been living here a few months but I really love it. XXXX and XXXX are so nice and helpful, and sometimes I hang around and talk their ears off just because I like to lol. Our townhouse is in front of the lake, which is a beautiful sight to wake up to. My roommate and I had been living in another apartment prior to this, and I sincerely wish we'd just come to Tealwood first.

Apartment manager are very helpful, cool people to talk to. The places is really homie for family. I recommend it to other families. Location is great, not too far from Universities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. One thing I don't like about the place is the trees with acorns, it's messy and gets all over your car. Another thing is nets, they always find a way to get in the house. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to live!

Jul 2015: I have lived in tealwood for about a year now and I gotta say, BEST LIVING EXPERIENCE EVER! Great neighbors, awesome area with a bunch of shopping plazas for convenience, central location for key locations in Orlando (like downtown), and the best staff that is extremely helpful and cares A LOT. The layouts are also pretty cool and recently up to date. This is an awesome place to start your life. There is a construction going on everyday at 5:30 am 7 days a week. I went to the office to talk to the so call property manager about it, she was so unprofessional telling me that they have to get certain things done, these people don't have no respect for the residents. Paying $900 a month, the place looks like a dump with trash and dog poops, that lady never walk around the buildings to see what's going on in her backyard. Worse place....save your money and don't rent from these people.
Review from 3/6/2015 on Apartment RatingsMay 2014: The new management at this place is great. Under the old management we had an ongoing problem with the a/c. The old maintenance crew just didn't know how to fix it. Josh, the new maintenance lead, was able to identify the problem immediately and replaced the necessary part and had the problem fixed in no time. The new management also ended a year long problem of a noisy neighbor for me. Overall, it's a nice place to live now and we see the crew around here making more improvements every day. It's also the most affordable place in the area for a 2 roommate situation and apartments are very nice on the inside. Not having to leave your apartment to do your laundry is a big plus too.

Then we are finally moving n they want an extra 609 dollars for not giving them notice on time for move out. They crazy to think I am paying it. When I moved in there were many things wrong and if I hadn't been pressed for time I can tell you right now, I would be living in a different place.
There is:
mold on my windows
the carpet isn't nailed down (you can literally pull it back half way across the room)-in fact the carpet is the short gross industrial carpet (the kind the just feels dirty)
I have had cockroaches living with me since day one
I don't have a screen on my bed room window
my sink stopper doesn't actually hold water
I can't change the temperature in my shower (it is almost impossible to even turn it on)
the bath tub doesn't have a stopper
there are ants
....I have told the apartment office all of this and nothing has been done for months.
Also, when my boyfriend comes over one of the maintenance guys tells him the he needs to park down by the lake Review from Google
