Oct 2019: It’s a nice clean place to live. Staff is very friendly. If you need anything fixed they come right away. The maintenance here is very well kept. I see them working hard daily. Jul 2019: Great place to live post grad life (going into my second year here). Maintenance is quick and friendly, tons of amenities. My only two things I wish they would do is offer residents clickers for the gate as trying to get through (especially with multiple people in front) can be tedious and annoying, as well as restoring the car wash port in the first phase to a functional state. 2 stars because the checkout process is completely dishonest and unethical. The management company uses every dirty trick to keep your deposit. They refuse to do a final inspection until you've moved out and in my case moved 1000 miles away. Then they indicated I would get a bill for damages which could be more than the deposit. I left the apartment in move in condition even paying to professionally steam the bedroom carpet. There was absolutely no damage to the apartment. Only after much screaming and the threat of a lawyer did the management company agree to return my whole deposit.

I was in the 3/2 and liked the layout. I could only hear my neighbor above me when they were extra loud but not the neighbors to the sides. Parking is good.
Maintenance was ok...I never knew if they completed the job or not because I would get a letter sometimes. They pool is nice, as well as the jacuzzi. Aug 2018: Lived here for 2 years and unfortunately, I don't have many good things to say. The only reason I gave any stars is because their maintenance team is good; they respond in a timely manner, especially when I had issues during off-hours.
When we moved in, the place didn't look well taken care of; bent towel rack in the bathroom, stained/partially cracked tub, and couldn't bother fixing a burned out light bulb in the kitchen. Over the course of my time there, people's cars have been broken into, a motorcycle was stolen, and people's packages always went missing. I believe I had about $200 worth of packages stolen/lost in total. There was a time when the office didn't accept packages, so we were left at the mercy of the postal workers to handle our packages. It seems as though the current residents have taken up smoking, both in and outside of the apartments. They have a tendency to leave their cigarette butts wherever they please.
The trash site/compactor is poorly maintained, and every weekend trash is piled high outside the dumpster, attracting all matter of wildlife. Additionally, there are many feral cats and other creatures that have begun urinating on our lower window and front door, where my cat likes to sit during the night. Gross.

The primary selling point for me was the dog parks, which are great and well maintained. There is a play group that uses the large dog park in the evenings, and they are not the most friendly, but otherwise we have loved having the space to run, and would highly recommend it to all renters with pups.
I have had a few minor maintenance issues, and they have all been resolved quickly by the staff. The front office and maintenance team have been responsive, kept appointments, and most importantly, fixed every issue.

Their description is radically different from anything that my wife and I have experienced at Heritage Estates. Our neighbors have also expressed their satisfaction with this apartment community.
Safety: I feel entirely safe walking around after dark, and I see many other residents walk their dogs at night. Also I have never seen any incidents in the complex involving the police. In fact, the police station is just around the corner, which is an additional comfort.
Landscaping: Well kept-up
Maintenance: The complex is constantly working on various improvements. One week, they changed all the door knobs. Another, they repainted all the mailboxes. Also, they tend to renovate apartments before new people move in.

May 2017: Leasing staff was warm and receptive, but what I found alarming is that they refused to answer questions about car break ins. It has nothing to do with fair housing act, but my safety. Really just wanted an honest answer.

Heritage Estate is super nice and beautiful and the staff are super friendly and efficient. We asked them a bunch of questions and they gave us straight and to the point answers.
