Oct 2019: Overall the apartment and operations are okay. The staff has always been friendly. The reason for only 1 star is due to the amount of crime and theft. Since moving in in January, between myself and my roommate we have experienced theft 5 times!!!!!! Usually, the car is ransacked and minimal items missing. However, the last scenario MY ROOMATES CAR WAS STOLEN!!!! Only two nights ago, two cars had their windows smashed. Not only is the crime increasingly getting worse, Advenir does NOTHING to inform their resident, increase security or AT LEAST ensure the front gate is always working properly... would be a great apartment for a great price but absolutely not worth the risk. Jul 2019: Just moved in today ðŸ˜. I moved here only because I work 2 miles away. The place seems reasonable, however it is literally impossible to contact anybody on site via telephone. The only way to contact the staff is to actually go in the office. They never pick up their phone and if somebody offsite picks up the phone they tell you that they’re going to leave a message for somebody to call you back,,,, and unfortunately nobody ever calls back. I stood outside the office and called the office and heard the phone ring while I was looking through the window the dude at the desk didn’t even pick up the phone so that’s that. I moved here solely because of the location, and because I’ll be saving $850 a month compared to my rent I had downtown 😬. Place seems okay though 🤞🾠Review from Google
Jun 2019: I like the spacious rooms, clean location, and friendly maintenance staff. However, there’s a serious issue with homeless people/drug addicts loitering around the complex and we even had someone smash my roommates car windows out and everything inside stolen. Recently, I came home to at least 12 deputies arresting someone and raiding their apartment. Lastly pretty much any time I call the office no one answers and then night call center people are rude. Rates go up every year but I still have the same low efficiency appliances. At least they repaved.

$250-300 electric bill every month!!!!!!!!!
After a lot of work they FINALLY agreed to move us to solve our problem. We had to pay movers of course.
We moved March 2018 to the new unit.
ROACH INFESTED UNIT (finally fully gone after 2.5 months of hell (they even insinuated it was us but as we transferred they later confirmed no roaches in the old unit))
Electric has been CRAZY (EVEN WORSE) here too!!! Just got the bill for last month $365! The complex refuses to resolve the AC. It runs 24/7 and doesn’t even keep the temp to the set value. It’s 11:52 and it’s still 74, set to 72. It’s only 79 outside. Apparently this isn’t a problem yet EVERYONE ELSE I KNOW has a normal bill.
They keep saying they will call back but never do. They refuse to do anything but take your money!!!!!!!

They will purposly avoid your calls and tag on hidden fees. They hired contractors that put holes in the ceiling outside. Squirrels now live in these ANCIENT apartments. 3 months later, still not fixed, had to move out. On paper, they put my move out reason as "rental increase". Also, the internet leading up the complex is Fiber, but the infrastructure in the entire complex is DSL. Like I said, ancient. Look for a newer apartment complex. Review from GoogleDec 2018: Horrible management. Stole our money and then backtracked their own words. They showed us our possible apartment and we paid them to hold it and then they told us they don't have a holding fee and ran our UNFINISHED applications after telling us they wouldn't until the following Friday when we all got paid.
Edit: Just like I said, yall backtrack to make yourselves look good. I know better now but if I had video evidence of what you guys said, you wouldn't have any more customers AND your business would suffer. Review from GoogleDec 2018: Our AC breaks down almost every month. Our washer/dryer unit is from the 50s and tears up our clothes. We've brought these issues to the attention of two different staff members who both promised they would take care of these issues with the new budget. Of course nothing has happened with these issues or the bugs, but they have put a fresh coat of paint at the front of the complex to make you think this place is nicer than it is. I'm personally excited for my lease to end so that I don't have to waste hundreds in extra utilities due to faulty equipment. The staff at the front office are always welcoming and polite, but anytime you have a problem you will have to return multiple times before anything is actually done. Roommate had his car window smashed and car was broken into and had items stolen. I feel uneasy living here and walking to my car because so many people live and hang around the bathrooms. We’ve literally complained face to face with the complex management and they haven’t done anything to fix the issues. They keep the gates open to the front of the complex 24/7 so anyone can come in. Nov 2018: The management at the complex fail to acknowledge the small details that matter in your apartment. The bathroom sinks are rusting, there are holes in all of the window screens, and the cabinets are dirty and had oily residue when I moved in. My dryer, water heater, and air conditioner are very old. I wouldn't care much about it if the electric bill wasn't extremely high. The air flow in the place is bad. The air conditioner runs all day almost non-stop when set at 78 degrees. One room will be nice and cold, while the other is warm. The one thing I really like is the faux wood laminate floor in the main area of the apt.
The "amenities" are nothing special. The gym is not 24 hours as advertised on the website. About two machines work in the gym, and everything else is broken. The lights for the tennis courts don't work. However, the day I moved in I had to kill a roach and the roach problem continued throughout my lease, the manager was not always the friendliest, and stay clear of the back pool I've seen people who may or may not have been residents heating up spoons preparing for their drugs. Maintenance always fixed whatever issues I had promptly. The air circulation in the apartments are really poor so your living room may be 73 degrees yet your bedroom will be more towards 77 degrees. We decided not to go to Advenir and tried to get our holding fee back but when we got back Tomas told us that if she hadn't run the applications we would've got the holding fee back. Again, one wasn't finished. They didn't have my roommate's driver's license number. Fast forward a couple of days and I call them again and Tomas told me that there wasn't a holding fee at all and that we paid for our applications all along. I've tried to talk to their manager with no luck because they're always away from their desks.Mar 2018: Apartment is nice, Management is horrible.
